Maia walked along finding a patrolling become slightly easier, but also slightly more irritating. She was taking out more youma, but that was because they could sense more easily, it was like calling them if they were in the area and dared to attack an eternal, not that most were smart enough to notice.
She was lucky tonight just one thus far and it she even managed to get picture to send to Polaris as proof her of youma stomping abilities. Maia giggled slightly straightening out her fuku, fussing with the wings for a moment before moving forward. She thought she felt something or someone not to far off, but she was none to sure exactly what.
The closer she got she could tell at least the it wasn't negaverse and she felt relieved, but also felt like such a chicken of an eternal. She rolled her eyes at herself and shook her head before looking around. "Who's there," she called softly.

For the first time in the last few weeks Poseidon found himself alone. It seemed he had been spending all of his time with Carter and Damian as of late and he was surprised to find how much he had missed wandering around the city. It wasn't that he disliked the couple, he had just been a city cat for a while and as such had grown accustom to a little more freedom. He was adjusting to home life though, he especially liked tuna, it was a treat to have to not dig through the trash for food anymore.
It was during his wandering that he felt a senshi that wasn't one of his. Curious he headed towards the power signature, he hadn't met many senshi other than Orion and Merope. The Egyptian Mau mix spotted the senshi before she saw him and took a moment to look her over. The first thing he noticed was that she seemed to have wings? No, upon closer inspection it was a winged bow type decoration, how peculiar. Feeling out her energy signature more carefully Poseidon realized she was stronger than his boys, an Eternal.
When she called out he realized that she must have felt him as well. Padding out of the shadows the silver cat looked up at her with bright green eyes. "I am Poseidon," He paused a moment his ears flicking, his single earring glinting in the moonlight. "Who might you be, young lady?" He couldn't help but call her young, all the senshi seemed young to him, but then Damian had told him he acted like an old fart most of the time, whatever that meant.

Maia turned toward the voice and looked down her lips forming a small oh. "Hello Poseidon. I am Sailor Maia. I am very pleased to meet you. You are so very polite, it is a nice change," she said softly greatly appreciating Po's manners. Maia or Lily, either way she had been raised to have good manners and while it wasn't an always especially where Chaonis was concerned she most certainly had them.
Her gaze roamed over the cat and she wondered how anyone would not think it odd to see many of the cat's dressed as they were when most cats normally would maul you for what they considered the offense of putting clothing on them. Still this cat's little outfit was rather cool and Maia had to say that she liked it.
She knelt down and with a smile she asked, "Do you mind if I pet you?"
She waited patiently for an answer giving Po the same respect his given in addressing her. She knew both ********* and Zirconia enjoyed being petted, but this cat was new and she couldn't be sure.

Poseidon couldn't help but smile as the senshi introduced herself. How delightful it was to meet someone who knew what etiquette was. Definitely a nice change from his boys, he loved Merope and Orion like they were his own sons, but they were a bit like wild animals, leave them unattended to long and they're bound to get into trouble. "Why thank you, Sailor Maia, it is a pleasure."
He sat down, his fluffy tail curling around himself as he looked up at her, green eyes following as she knelt down. A bit of surprise showed on his face at her question. He'd never been asked to be petted before, people just generally went for it. He didn't have to think very long on his answer though. "Of course you may, and I thank you for asking though there's no need to in the future." There was a small smile on his maw as he looked up at Maia.

Maia sat fully on the ground reaching out and carding her fingers through the soft fur of Poseidon, a small smile on her face. Her fingers moved in search of the spot cat loved so much that made them purr and made humans feel so loved. She grinned giving a good scratch before pulling away.
"So," she said giving Po a curious look, "who do you belong to? Not like someone who owns you, um like who are attached to. ********* has her girls, she saids. And Zirc calls the BMC her girls. So who do you watch after?"
She sat looking up at the sky and not at Po, it was an odd habit she had developed. When she spoke, sometimes it was like she was speaking to the sky. She didn't know why she started doing so, but she did it and was quickly become a defining characteristic of her.

As the eternal senshi continued her ministrations Poseidon's green eyes closed for a moment luxuriating under her fingers. As much as he enjoyed living with Damian and Carter neither really had a woman's touch when it came to scratches. The silver cat's chest started to rumble with a purr as her fingers found the place just between his ears, she had definitely found his favourite spot.
When her fingers pulled away the Mau gave himself a good shake so that he didn't get lost in the pleasant feelings. He looked up at her when she asked her question, his head tilted ever so slightly to the side. He didn't recognize the names she spoke of, but he assumed they must be other cats. "I watch after the Pleiades, or at least two of them. I have yet to meet the other two." He wrinkled his nose when he admitted that. He didn't like that he still had yet to find Alcyone and Atlas, of course Merope and Orion knew where they were, the five of them just hadn't been able to find the time to come together as a group yet.
It didn't take too long for Poseidon to notice that Maia wasn't looking at him. He didn't particularly mind, even if he found it a bit odd. Curious he tilted his head up looking at the sky as well, was it really all that interesting? He supposed it was, it was where the senshi had come from after all. Where he had come from, not that he could remember much from that time a thousand years ago.

Maia grinned when and looked at him, "Oh I think I know them. When we were in Elysion ... er they rode across the ... battle field on a gaint wave." The statement made Maia frown slight with the annoying realization that it just sounded ridiculous even if it had in fact happened.
"I do not really remember their names exactly, never met officially I'm pretty sure," she said with a small smile.
She sighed slightly pulling her legs up so that she could rest her head on her knees before her gaze returned to the sky. "I wish I could meet all the senshi. We all seem so spread out even though we all live in the same city. I wish we were you know, more connected."
She frowned slightly, "though I can't imagine our past selves were very connected separated by light years of space. What do you think?"
