I've decided to recreate my old thread on here because the things that applied then don't apply now. Instead of focusing on specific problems, I'm going to type up my info, past polyamorous run-ins, and will update this thread whenever something new happens that is related to polyamory.

Sparky's bio.

--------I'm transgender. FtM. I wouldn't say that narrows my dating field, it just weeds out the assholes faster. That way I don't have to find out later. Hehe.

--------I'm pansexual. It doesn't matter to me what's in your pants. (Unless it's a fire breathing dragon. Then I might die. xD

--------I'm Pagan. I haven't gotten much crap for it, thankfully. I wear a pentacle necklace and people are just like "Hey, nice necklace." They either don't know or don't care. Both are fine with me.

Sparky's past.

I've had a few people jokingly suggest a threesome. A couple of times I've considered it. I've also had a few polyamorous potentials; people whom I could see myself with and almost acted on it. That has happened to me twice. Nothing has ever really come of them as of yet.

At the moment, I have a tentative triangle going between two amazing boys and myself. One of them is transgender, like me. He's so cute. The other is funny as heck. They are closer than the last few I've had. They both live in my state. They are both less than 150 miles away. It excites me and makes me nervous. I could actually see them. The polyamorous partnership aside, I've never met anyone in real life who I met on the internet first, so it would be interesting.

Remember what the dormouse said;

Oooh, Internet dating can be fun. I met my wife on the Internet. We were both members of a certain site, and she saw a post I made on a bulletin board. It intrigued her (and two other women, heh), and I got an email from her. I ruled the other two out fairly quickly, but I kept talking to my (now) wife. She lived in Philadelphia and I in Dallas. I traveled for a living at the time, and was scheduled to meet a client in the Poconos, so I went a few days early and stayed a few days after to be with her. The end result was me moving to Philly 3 days before our wedding, and it was a lovely thing. We've been together 10 years.

My second longest LTR was a man I met through a personal I placed in a gay newspaper (yes, I was an adult when the Internet was just a blip). He and I were together 6.5 years. I've had good luck advertising for relationships. Hope you do too! Just remember to initially meet in a public place for safety's sake.

Thanks, woofpuppy.
I've known one for a while, and I'm still warming to the other. That's a problem I've noticed. As convenient as it would be to instantly love them both at the same time, I have to explore. J loves D and me, I love J, but I'm not sure yet about D. We'll see how it goes.

Hehe. I, being a little sprout of 18 have never known not having internet. XD

My boyfriend I met on Gaia about 5 or 6 years ago. lol We were friends for most of that time, but got closer as time went on. I know there's all kinds of paranoia (and legitimately too) about meeting people off the internet, but if you're safe about it, then it just brings people who otherwise never would have met closer together. heart
