Natalia wasn't inside of her room this afternoon, but she was lingering around the monster dorm's open lounge, with a book in one hand and a cookie in the other.

Her mind was else where, the lack of interest in what she held between five fingers apparent when not page was turned. She was lost in another world, one that felt much darker than the twisted tales of 'Locket Black' because it had Natalia starring as the main character--a helpless ghoul who tried far too hard to stick to ways of old...ways that should have been let go of a long time ago. The room itself was usually occupied by several students, but the only company she had today was the Pathling at her feet; its hard bone teeth pulling at her shoelaces. Right On knew, still, that his master was not yet herself...He was also not pleased with his master for shoving him, let alone shoving him along WITH the other mini's who followed her command, into the closet before causing a ruckus in their room. It simply was not Natalia to do such things...But being her constant, closest companion he would not leave her side just as soon as that door swung open again for him to exit out of. Right On was stubborn, a baby on most days; but he was loyal and the longest and most true friend Natalia could say she had.

An urgent tug at her feet dropped her gaze to the male, placing the cookie ontop of her thighs before running her hand through his wooly coat."Cut it out." She said lovingly before slumping back against the sofa, eyes shutting as a heavy sigh filled the room with noise for but a moment. Right On kept his green, glowing eye sockets on his master for several seconds, before returning to the laces irritably.

Holly wasn't sure what she was doing. It'd been a few days after that dance. The dance had been interesting both fun and strange. The ghoul was trying to get her mind off of all of that and was now wandering the campus. The ghost dorms were quite boring. Although she had friends in the demon dorm there was no way she was going near it due to others being there. She had yet to wander the monster dorms so that was her next stop.

Lately there was a lot on her mind. School for one thing. Lately there was so much going on, classes, homework. She'd lots of homework lately but somehow finished what she had earlier that day. That left her extremely bored. A bored Holly wasn't a great thing since it left to either mischievous things going on or her thinking. She was thinking about that darn prom. Mostly the one she'd danced with. Ugh, why did she even agree to that in the first place. It had been extremely awkward.

Holly looked around. Wait, when did she get inside the building? Huh. She looked around the hallway seeing if there was anyone around. The ghoul came upon the lounge and saw one student there. Oh! It was Natalia, she'd met her a few times before and had one class with her. Maybe her wandering for over for the moment? "Natalia! Looking for any company?" After all, she didn't want to interrupt anything if she was busy.

The Pathling possessively draped a hoofed forelimb over his masters shoe, the flames in his eyes flickering wildly in a glare. Natalia was apparently startled, straightening her posture clumsily while throwing Right On an equally threatening glance...one that teetered on grumpiness. He had been doing so well around the other minipets she had, avoiding conflict, addressing his anger issues, and relinquishing this hold on jealousy he had; what was his deal today?

The lemur, of course, had no idea how on edge her own worries made him. She also was not completely aware of Holly's presence until she spoke.

The silent reprimand was enough for the Pathling to settle into his place, an exposed bone snout rubbing against his masters leg in search for some comfort. In response Natalia merely stared at him for a long moment before looking up at the fox ghost who had just arrived. A faint smile was finding its way across her pale lips, the book that was in her hand being flattened out across her lap; and all the while she seemed relatively thankful for the distraction. Even if she did not feel entirely up for conversation…

"Oh, Holly, I have not seen you in a long time! Please, take a seat!" Her hand gestured to one of the plush sofas nearest them, eyes alight with excitement while below her, unreasonable growls were varying in aggression and strength. Perhaps being alone for so long had taken its final toll on Right On just as it had Natalia? No longer was the stone faced Pathling (or werelemur) in charge of keeping his emotions in line--Perhaps the soft, mushy, in desperate NEED OF ATTENTION monster had clawed its way out at last? Buckling, the monster pressed a hand atop his head and rubbed.

She propped her elbow on the arm of the chair then, taking the opposite hand across her forearm casually, and leaned sideways while continuing to smile. It WAS nice to see Holly again..."How are you doing?"

The pathling seemed to have seen her before Natalia had noticed her. Holly stood and watched the pathling. That sure was an interesting pet and she hadn't seen one of those before. Had her presence caused this behavior? She'd never seen a minipet act that possessive around it's owner. Sure hers caused trouble and enjoyed being around her but never growled at someone who had only spoken.

The ghoul grinned a bit when the minipet seemed to have calmed down. Maybe she should have brought one of hers along to entertain this one, a thought for later at least. She was glad that the other invited her to sit down. Wandering the campus was only fun for so long and now at least she had something to do for a moment.

She nodded. "The sleepover, right?" That had been a fun time and a much needed ghoul time. Speaking of, she was hoping to hear of when another of those get togethers may be of next or would possibly plan her own. Holly sat down in the offered sofa. The ghost dorm had nothing like this common area. Or as comfortable seats. She pulled her legs up under her so she was sitting cross-legged in the chair. There, much better. Glad to have found Natalia she grinned again. "Good, as well as one can in this place, right? What about you? I didn't upset your pet there did I?"

How was she really doing though. "Actually, I haven't been doing that great since the dance." Oh, the dance.

Natalia bowed her head once in a nod. "Ah yes, the sleepover. Short lived." And then her orange eyes rolled to the side, drifting toward a land filled with frilly nightgowns and tight PJ's worn by creatures of relentless beauty and delicious curves. It was a wonderful thought, just as it had been an equally wonderful evening...

But she had to find her center, watching as Holly sat and spoke, and then proceeded to turn the monsters lips upside down. A hand shot down to the Pathling for a second time, sliding her fingers along the bone that mingled near his curled fluff of fur...the action causing puffs of green smoke to swirl from his eyes sockets and snout hole. "Right On? Oh no! No please do not worry about him, he is harmless! Just a big old grump! Trust me, he is like this with--hey..." Her body had lifted from its casual stance, hands up once again and waving in a 'No, never that!' gesture only seconds before the words actually stuck.

If she had been slightly put off by Holly's presence before, she was no longer feeling that way now. Ears twitched at the side of her head as they caught and picked apart each word...head tilting as she leaned forward toward the ghost ghoul. "Do you mean Prom? What happened?" She whispered toward Holly, eyes narrowed with suspicion. Although the two of them were not the best of friends, Natalia still had a soft spot for certain students dotting their campus...

And the fox was one of them.

Plus, what a great way to get rid of ones problems! Just consume another’s!

"It was short wasn't it. Hope there is another one day, but perhaps longer. Like to see more of those movie things." So far in her short afterlife she'd only seen the one that they had watched that night. It had been indeed interesting and she'd also get to wear her cool pajamas which she'd been wearing less.

Holly looked down to the pet and grinned seeing that it was pleased with the attention from it's owner. "I've a pet or two like that. All bark and no bite right. Just wants some attention, I'm guessing?" Her own bakeneko would annoy the heck out of you until you gave him attention then would act like it didn't know her for days.

The ghoul wasn't sure how to start off. She'd never talked about personal problems before to another ever. Though she felt like she could trust Natalia. "Ya prom... I uh, ended up going with a boil." Holly took a moment to figure how to go on. "A lot of things happened, strange things I guess. Or really, I'm not sure if things were normal or odd. Wouldn't happen to be able to decipher how boils act?" Holly figured out she was horrible at explaining things and hoped the other may be able to pull out more information from her and help in some way figure out what had happened. She herself had no idea how boils acted, normal or otherwise.

The monster would have giggled if she weren't so interested in what Holly was hiding. It was quite humorous to know that the fox-ghoul had never seen a movie prior to that evening, considering Natalia had seen plenty in her lifetime. Ghosts were so strange sometimes in all of the things they could not remember...

But the sidebar these thoughts held lasted for but a moment, as the other ghoul continued on about her pet...which a pale hand waved off and a nod would have to suffice for a response. It was only when Holly said the words 'prom' and 'boil' in the same sentence that the monster lifted a brow suspiciously and shouldered off her initial worry. Boil problems, eh?!

"Holly, that is wonderful to hear! I never took you as one to go to dances with boils, but you have proved me wrong!" The shock in her tone was heavily set, but Natalia's brightened features would hopefully deter Holly from feeling too offended. She continued quickly, speaking through white lips that turned upward at their ends.

"Yes, yes I will do my best to help you! I have shared many nights with bo--ahh, well I have been involved with a boil or two. Go ahead!" The monster had leaned in further, nearly crawling over the arm of Holly's chair to sit within it. Oh how Natalia loved gossip...and secrets...and oh...oh this was grand! "Tell me everything!

The ghoul made a mental note to learn more about those movie things later. Same with this music she'd been hearing, and had obviously heard at the dance. She remembered that some students had some sort of device that could play them, how cool! The movie had been Holly's first, in death and her entire existence had she known her time before death. Dying kind of sucked. She herself answered the pet concerns in a nod. Understandable pet troubles were always about and didn't need discussing after time went on.

Holly rose a brow at the statement from Natalia about going to a dance with a boil. Perhaps she thought, like herself, that Holly didn't seem like one to attend a dance at all. She was still pondering that fact that she said yes and went to it.

She grinned. "Everything?" That could take a while depending on where she was to start. Holly decided to skip most of the pre-prom things since they didn't mean much anyway.

"Er, well. West asked me. I mean he asked me, before he asked he was happy about something..." Huh, well she couldn't talk about the fact West had been marked and had been recently unmarked, which caused the happiness. "Something unrelated to prom. Just doesn't strike me as the type to ask though he said we'd be going to make fun of people but well, won't need to ask to go just to do that right?" Or at least she thought so. Holly stopped for a moment to let Natalia take that part in before continuing.

Natalia lifted a crooked finger and pressed it just below her bottom lip, puckering them while from her throat a loud HMM came about. She nodded her head several times, murmured a few 'Yes, yes's before patting Holly on the leg.

"You are exactly right, young lady! One should not have to ask someone else to attend a dance unless they WANT to be there with that person. I would say he was looking for your company." Now this could be taken in two lights...however the lemur left it open for interpretation. Plus she had no idea how big of a deal it was for this 'West' to have asked, seeing as she had only heard of him...and even then it was sort of confusing since she often thought they were referring to the direction and not a person. 'West has red hair.' What?

Her hands were still placed on the ghosts leg when she gave them one last pat, prompting the ghoul to continue. "Go on, sweetheart"

It didn't really cross her mind that Natalia might not have actually know said boil but that could have been a good or bad thing. Well, the school felt so small sometimes that it seemed that everyone know everyone. At the same time, Natalia wasn't going to go and search him out now either. She nodded to the other ghoul's response. "That's what I was thinking." What other reason would there be to ask?

"Well the dance was fine for the most part." The ghoul grinned a bit. "He kind of fought with one of my friends, which was odd." Holly decided to leave out some of the uneventful parts, or the discovery that wrath demons had wings. "Only danced once it was .... weird." To tell the truth she had no other way to explain dancing but weird or awkward. "Er, and well, at the end of the night he, uh, kind of kissed my cheek? And then left without saying a thing." Didn't bother to walk her to her dorm or anything, seriously he just left her there. "And haven't seen him since, I think he's avoiding me." That jerk.

If Natalia could read minds, she might be somewhat offended by Holly's assumption! The nerve! As a matter of fact the werelemur WOULD and HAD gone searching for students before, and had successfully made contact with those who she had never met but sought nonetheless...not that the ghost needed to know any of that or anything.

Shifting in her seat, eyes sealing for a second as her chin found the back of her hand to rest upon, the monster tilted her head and hmm'ed in thought. It was difficult to move on after the memory surfaced, heated movement swimming past her orange gaze--the same that tried to focus on the ghoul before her. Something about a fight? One dance? Satin sheets? No, that didn't sound right.

Natalia rolled her shoulders back then and sat straight up, feeling the weight of those pretty blue eyes on her as Holly finished. There was a look on the other ghouls face that seemed to be expecting something; waiting for that reassuring response perhaps? Or just any old answer, as most teens were often seeking answers for everything. The monster tapped her chin idly, pushing her lips to one side while she thought...and thought...eyes finally rolling up to the single clock on the wall as her mind continued to work out a valid response...wait, what time was it?

Right On rumbled at her feet, no less irritated to have the unwanted company or to be seated on the floor of an unfamiliar room for so long...but the nudge that followed was not out of malice or impatience. It was a reminder, made about the same moment his owner realized she was late for a very important date. Things between Whisper and herself had been somewhat strained ever since their last get-together, and to make things up she intended on meeting with the demon ghoul for some lunch...or something.

"Oh!" She exclaimed at last, shuffling about in her seat. "Uhm...okay, look Holly. In my opinion I do not think what he did was right. First of all fighting with one of your friends is not polite--nor will it win over your heart, I am sure. And secondly, a kiss on the cheek can mean one of two things: He either wants to be more than just friends, or he thought it would be the right thing to do." She paused to move a little bit more, leaning in toward Holly just before she stood up.

"From my experience with boys, it sounds to me like he is confused. I want to say he thought all of that--the dance, the kiss, everything--would make you happy. That everything that happened was what you wanted, and being a friend he was willing to give it to you. But at the same time I do not know how your relationship stood prior to the dance."

With book in hand and the little Pathling at her heels, Natalia turned to face Holly completely, shifting her weight onto one hip while she checked the time on the watch around her wrist. "You are a smart ghoul. If anyone has the balls to figure this one out, it would be you...if you are really that curious about it--about him, you should probably just confront the boil. I mean...if it is not what you thought it was, then at least it is better to have found out now rather than later when you might have misinterpreted more of his actions. And if it is exactly what you are hoping it is, well then...you can come find me to thank me later." Winking, Natalia took a step toward the hallway and paused for but a moment to look over her shoulder.

"Oh yes, pardon my hurry sweetheart, but I have a few things I need to clear up myself. Please stop by my dorm room later on? No matter what you decide to do. I would love to talk more with you!" The last thing to be seen was Right On staring blankly at the ghost ghoul, just waiting for her to glance his way so that he could turn sharply and march off.
