Night was feeling odd, like...he was on to something, or wanted to do something. Yeah that was he was after. Something to do. He had been on a serious lucky streak and for a unlucky cat, that was discomforting. In fact, he felt like his bad luck was seriously building up in him, a intense amount of energy and negative vibes that sat in his body JUST waiting to go make a unfortunate soul more.........unfortunate.

"Jack damn it all."
Night cursed, as he walked the school grounds. The one thing he hated was how his FEAR worked. Channeling his energy was hard when he didn't have anyone or anything to channel it at. He hissed as he passed some students and then sighed. That was no way to act if he was going to find some person to channel all his aura into. Wow it sounded kinda of dirty when he thought of it like that.

His eyes landed on a pretty Were-Lemur, strutting like she owned the walkway, and my what a catch he had found, she was quite the gorgeous girl. Too bad he was about to make her a victim of his unlucky vibes.

"Hey pretty Ghoul!"
Night called out before rushing up to her, "Hey there, Nice to meetcha, I'm Nightengale XIII, call me Night for short." He gave her a innocent cat smile, his green eyes luminous with a unnatural glow that he had acquired after becoming a ghost. His tail twitched as he looked her up and down, "Not to be rude but one: your gorgeous. Two: You like to play games of chance? I've been a bit bored with all this daily stuff." He waved his hand out before pulling out a pair of dice and a deck of cards, "How about we make a few bets and play some games?"

If Natalia knew what Night was thinking, she would have offered herself without a second thought...channeling FEAR into others? The monster thought it dirty as well...and liked it.

But because she did not have the ability to read minds, instead when the boil approached her she lifted a brow and tilted her head to the side, stopping her long legs from taking another step further. Natalia would have been on her way to a certain hellhound's dorm room, but she was not; and for reasons only one ghoul would know about. She was just walking idly down the halls, strutting past new faces in search for something to do--anything. In a way, the black cats approach was what she had been waiting for without even knowing it herself.

And the way he spoke of her only solidified this fact. A smile crept on her lips the longer he lingered, drawn out completely when a game was suggested. He was quite handsome, so that meant he was potentially worth her time.

When all was said in quite the rush, Natalia furrowed her brows and leaned in with a pointed finger. "A game?" The interest that was held behind her words was blatantly obvious, and as she reclined back, jutting a hip out to rest a hand upon with the other tapping her chin...Natalia laughed.

"You are quite the talkative one, are you not Nightengale? Haha, well alright if you have a game for me then I will play. It is not like I have anything better to do." She said, settling her orange gaze on the boil indefinitely. This was the first she had ever seen of the boil, and already...she was liking him.

"What are the rules, hmm?" The monster teased, giving the dice and cards a brief glance.

Ah, Hook, Line and sinker. Night had found the playmate for the day and judging by her looks, and her expression, she didn't even mind at all. That was good, well good for him, not so much good for her. It almost made him feel guilty for well, holding back certain information from her. Then again, when his FEAR was about to burst, he didn't give a jack damn's. Because if he didn't channel fast, it turned inward and he already had a life of unlucky streaks. You could tell because he was a ghost....

"Yeah a game." He kept his sly cat smile on, though in his head he wanted her to accept, such formalities, and he was such the impatient one. "What? Oh, Actually yeah I am." He laughed, caught off guard by her comment before waving his hand, "I am in desperate need for something to 1. Entertain me, 2. Talking smooth's things out, even If you talk really fast 3. I can't resist a pretty lady and for some reason I like to talk." He winked at her before purring with satisfaction. Like he said, Hook, line and Sinker. He had found his winner.

"Let's find a-" Night looked around for a table so that he could sit with her, game's with cards tended to be difficult if you were juggling them around standing up, dice as well but not as bad as cards, Once one was found, he gestured for her to follow. "It depends, You like card games? Dice? or a combination of them both? I can do all three, comes with the trade of being a very...." Night slanted a look at her, almost spilling that he was a unlucky black cat. He hoped she didn't catch on by the fact that he was a black cat...or his name had the unlucky number 13 as part of it, That'd probably send her running and he really really really really needed to get rid of his bad luck mojo. "Hey delegate, I didn't get your name. I figure if I am going to play a game of chance, it'd be better then calling you Gorgeous, Beautiful, Pretty Lemur. ect. ect. all day." He winked at her again, enjoying the playful mood he was in. The table he sat down the deck of cards, a personal favorite of his game cards and the pair of dice he had gotten when the two luck cats that usually followed him around. Both deck and Die, if you could look closely, glowed with a hint of green like Night's eyes.

Natalia watched him closely through narrowed, citrus colored eyes; bemused by the quick and fluent gestures he made while equally charmed by his bold approach. Very few had tried to do the same, to the monsters dismay, and as befuddled as she may have appeared--the ghoul was certainly pleased with both the offer and this Nightengale himself.

When he spat off more reasons, which in her mind justified his odd behavior, the lemur merely 'Hmph'ed and folded her arms across her chest. She was particularly slow on the up-take this day, not yet deducing Nightengale's personal gain from the game they were about to play, but she was certainly growing more and more curious the longer those lips of his flapped on. What exactly was this boil up to? Not that she intended on asking...Yet. "I like all kinds of games!" She said with enthusiasm , following the ghost as was requested.

As they arrived at the table he had picked out, she waited to see which side he picked and then rounded the corners so they stood opposite of one another. His remark, and the guilty glance that she was given did not go unnoticed...but Natalia waved it off with the flick of her head--tossing blue strands of hair behind her. Suspicion aside, the monster was intrigued by what it was Nightengale had in store, and although her gut ached some in discontent, she placed both of her hands onto the table and breathed outward quite loudly. Curious as a cat she was; or, well almost.

Her attention fell to the cards on the table and stayed there for quite a while. Was that glo-stick residue? Or goo of some sort? She couldn't tell, but she also did not have a whole lot of time to lean in and inspect the deck. The boil was talking again, and talking fast at that.

Her smirk rose those high cheeks, dark eyelashes fluttering as she brought her elbows against the table, legs bending to allow for some comfort, and propped her face in each palm. "Oh, I do not know if I even want to tell you...I kind of like being called gorgeous. I think it is fitting." Her nose wrinkled, eyes squinting for a moment as she chuckled and then continued. "My name is Natalia, but feel free to continue on with the pet names." The grin she wore flashed white canines suddenly.

The long, striped tail at her end stretched out beneath the table to brush Nightengales leg, coiling around her ankles once the contact satisfied her need to touch and feel and be completely without regard for personal space. Natalia brought herself straight up again and began to twirl some hair around a finger idly, returning to the task at hand with ease. "How about you choose the game, huh?" Looking down to the items again, she pondered on what the glow of the cards could mean…and then spoke suggestively of them. "I can trust you, can I not?" Poking her lower lip out, the monster turned her head to the side and gave to Nightengale the most questioning of looks.

Oh crap, was she on to him? She had some pretty watchful eyes and well, being an animal or half animal, she could probably smell the lies on him from a mile away. Not that it mattered but, well, He kinda of liked her, she had a easy presence and a quick wit. Ah, there was a tiny amount of more guilt piling up, he shoved it mentally away. It was either pawn off his bad luck to her or risk exploding with it in him. Added to that, his luck was either GOOD or BAD. Mostly bad but it depended on the one he was trying to infect.

"Oh good. Glad you like them, I am quite fond of them myself." He carried on conversationally as he shuffled through the various games he knew, kinda of like walking through a candy store in his head to find just the right candy. "Pretty name there Natalia." He let it roll off his tongue before letting his own cheerful smile place on his face. Oh man, he did like pet names, he liked them even better when other people liked them. "Okay, Gorgeous, got it. Pleased to know that it does justice to such a lovely ghoul as yourself." He nodded and while he was still thinking of which game, barely registered any shock as her tail came to brush up on his leg, his almost mirrored the action uncounsicley as he tapped his chin in thought. His ears flattened as he thought of the cards and quickly shoved them away. "Today doesn't feel like a card day ya know? Feels like we need to throw some dice around." He smiled as he tucked them into his jacket and held up the blue and green pair of dice. Rolling them between his hands in a habitually action, one where of course, unbeknownst to Natalia was when he was channeling his FEAR into them. To her, it would probably look like he was still in thought, but to Night, he was concentrating on the sheer energy he was infusing with the objects. And because he had so much built up, he let some roll off the die so brighten the green aura that surrounded it. Even if Natalia walked away with wins under her belt, she would carry bad luck that would either effect her...or pass on to someone else.

"Gorgeous, I am no more a threat to you than...." Night thought of something to compare and failed, "Knocking over salt, walking under a ladder or breaking a mirror.." He joked, slyly avoided telling her to trust him because well, it would just feed the small amount of guilt he was feeling. "Okay so rules! We'll take turns rolling the dice, You want to get a certain amount. To win the round, you have to get the amount of: 7, 11 or Snake eyes (two 1's in a row), Everything else loses. Even doubles besides snake eyes!" Night picked up the dice to show her what he meant, rolling them before tossing them on the table.

"See I got a...." Night looked at the dice before cringing, man he stared at his own misfortune before brightening up, "5 and a 3, So I lose cause it didn't make the totals." He nodded his head and handed the dice to her to try. "Also, to make it interesting, Every win you get will give you a point. After a certain amount of points...Let's make it Ten points..." Night's smile was so quick and feral as he pulled out his treasured Emblem, "Will earn you My emblem. I hear students like to collect these, Don't want to get you too bored while you play. Plus various things could be added If I need to. Favors, Gold coins, whatever you want if you Win." He didn't mention though anything for him winning. If he did win, it was because he was getting rid of his "luck." And that's all he was after.

She nodded her head to most of what he said, watching still as the boil worked effortlessly with his cards. Natalia was aware of certain tricks of the trade, knowing that some individuals would botch her chances winning with two-faced cards slipped into the deck, or something along those lines. She would remain cautious, listening to him while he spoke, waiting to hear what it was SHE would have to offer in return...But still, his bubbly personality and pleasant smile kept her greater worries at bay.

It sort of felt silly to be so nervous anyway, particularly when Nightengale was none in the least. Her shoulders rolled to his remark on the day and the game, looking off for a moment while her lips parted casually. "Today did not feel like a game day for me, either, but look at what I have ended up in." She returned her gaze to the boil playfully before continuing. "And it is good to know that I am not in any danger."

While the rules were simple enough to remember, the prize was what really captivated the attention of this werlemur gal. An emblem? Another one? Her eyes widened as it was pulled out, her body curving toward it in delight. So it was something other students did? This whole collecting of emblems and all! Oh what fun it would be to have his, as well! The meaning behind Nightengale's would be different than the one Sarias had given to her, but all the same...she wanted it. She wanted it badly. It would easily become her obsession if another student offered one to her...

"Ahh, I see..." Was all the monster could say at first, not yet wanting to fully expose her blind excitement. Taking the dice into a hand and shaking them around gently, Natalia looked to the table and spoke just before tossing them out. "Well that would not be fair of me to let you offer up such a valued item, while I play the game and walk away with it. I will also put up my emblem, although you will have to accompany me back to my dorm room in order to get it. I am a good sport, after all!"

Counting the numbers quickly, and then looking up to Nightengale the lemur frowned.

If Night had known that Natalia knew of the petty tricks of a regular gambler, well he would laugh and brush it off. What did a unlucky cat need with petty tricks like adding doubles of cards or loaded dice. No that didn't make it fun at all. It was insulting almost to the game of chance, something Night was beginning to believe was his way of life. It was a pure sentimental attachment he had to Lady luck, a being he knew existed like he knew now that Sandy claws did.

His confidence was astounding even now, for again he really love the games of chance. It was his specialty after all. "Ah well I am glad I have some skills of persuasion?" He laughed and winked at her again, his smile turned to a boyish happy, "Of course not my pretty." He said in a creepy tone and then laughed like it didn't happen. Uh, awkward moment number one!

He loved watching her eyes though, they were the most expressive of the students he had met so far, so easy to tell when she was captivated, or when she was bored. He had no qualms about giving his emblem away, besides it wasn't like he was doing anything with them.

"Oh so a battle of chance for Emblems?" Night leaned over, smiling at her with enthusiasm. She just didn't know how this game held up. Man, Night thought guilty. She's going to lose her emblem because I filled the dice with Bad luck, Night tapped his chin and watched as she threw the dice. The first roll was a pair of doubles. In any other game besides the one he stated, that would be a point for her. He could see the glob of green aura around the dice, pulsating out with the bad luck.

"Well since you've offered something so lovely, and a chance to escort a gorgeous ghoul, we'll add more chances for you to get some points." Night smiled at her, "How about this Gorgeous, If you roll even doubles its 2 points for me, If you roll Odd doubles its 2 points for you. The same rule will be held for me, If I roll Odd doubles, its 2 points for you and If I roll even doubles, Its 2 points for me." Night tapped her dice that had rolled and smiled, "We'll count that for 2 points then." He smiled at her as he marked 2 poinst for her on the table, running his finger along the table's surface where their names appeared in the same green aura with tallies for points. Her's shone bright against the wooden planks.

"Though, I think we should limit the amount of turns it will take. Say...about 12 turns? and if you get ten, you get the emblem. If not, if you have more points than I do, you get it as well." He smiled again before bringing the dice to his side, rolling them in his hands before dropping them to the table.

"Haha!" Night clapped as the dice rolled even doubles, 2 points for him, he marked it on his side of his table! "Looks like a bit of luck on my side."

Natalia muffled laughter here and there with a single white hand, all around enjoying the company that Nightengale had offered. Her head bounced continually in nods and playful head cocks, brows lifting and furrowing and arching--particularly when he offered up rules much more favorable than the last. This new addition to their game lit the already beaming face that the monster held, hands clapping together in her apparent delight. Forget about trying to stay calm, cool, and collected; she hadn't played a game of chance like this in a long, long time!

"Oh, wonderful!" The lemur mused, tail unraveling to get closer to her back. The markings on the table only seemed to further prompt her joy, as the glow of a two marks meant she was already ahead of the game. A slick, almost far too confident grin spread her lips and exposed white canines completely. Fading only slightly into a wide, pressed line when he rolled and managed to gain some points as well.

Flicking her gaze up at him, through falling blue hair and dark lashes, Natalia chuckled. The odds of ultimately winning the game (which was what Natalia aimed for ALWAYS.) were far too great and far to appealing for the ghoul to question just how many were there was for her to win...and just how few there were for Nightengale. "Yes, well I am feeling pretty lucky right about now...Night." She purred his name and licked at her lips before sliding her hand across the table and over the dice to shake and then drop them.

The result was not what the ghoul expected...-__-

Night snorted at her reaction to the dice before smiling at her, letting his tail slink over to pat her knee. "Don't worry gorgeous, plenty of chances for you to continue this game." He rested his chin on his hand, watching as the dice continued to give off that eerie green glow. It started to lighten in thickness just a little bit at a time, a sign that the green aura was injecting the Were-Lemur with his unlucky FEAR. Part of his mind registered that messing with FEAR, especially that of another student was probably not all that great of a Idea. It could effect her transformation, or it could effect his own personal supply of FEAR. Either way, what was done could not be undone.

There was two reason he had set a turn limit as well, besides not wanting to bore her with the game but also because by the end of the game, she would feel the massive amount of fear he sneakily placed in her. It would probably be heavy, but he didn't want to assume since he didn't really know himself how fear in another student felt.

His ears stood up with her excitement of the marks with her. Both tied. Though he hadn't thought of what would happen if they tied. Eh, he waved the thought away and picked up the dice.

"Lady luck might have some surprises in store for you Natalia." he coyly dropped the dice to the table, "By the way, totally being forward her. You've got a great set of eyes there darling." He winked as he looked down at his dice. Uh oh, he rolled absolutely nothing.

"Well Well." He murmured as he handed the dice back her and smiled, "Looks like Lady luck didn't bless me with luck today." He stared again at the dice, their glow didn't dim from his bad luck roll, then again it wasn't him he was trying to place FEAR in. "So Natalia, How long have you been at the academy. I have some friends in the Monster dorm and yet I haven't seen you around since today?" He leaned over, smiling at her and truly curious to the kinda of ghoul he had found.

"Perhaps she is in favor of her own gender this afternoon?" Natalia chirped playfully, her citrus gaze falling to the dice he rolled, and then back up to the ghost boil. "You have quite the set of eyes yourself, Mr. Charmer. I would not mind them settling on me more often." A hint of a flirtatious smile flickered across her lips, however her intentions may or may not have been pure of heart. She was enjoying his company, but she was also enjoying his looks as well; it was a win win in her book. "Just like a cat, they're somewhat hard to make out."

And it was true. She could sense something falling over her with every look she gained from Night, although she couldn't tell whether it was his presence, the game, or something beyond all of that.

In any case a flick of her tail and the sharp change in demeanor once her dice were rolled would not tell one way or the other. Her pale lower lip fell beneath white teeth as she sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Quite a while actually. I have not kept count of the days spent here, but it sure as hell feels like forever." Blowing at the tendrils of blue which fell against her cheeks, the monster briefly looked to the ghost with not a sign of content on her face; surely put off by the horrible luck she was having! "And how about youself?" Stretching across the table to slid the dice his way once again.

Night frowned at Natalia's play before his tail whipped, curling around the bench seat before he turned his acid green's to her topaz yellow. If he didn't have a ghoulfriend, Natalia would've been one hell of a lady to woo. Plus, like himself, she had an animal side. Made him wonder about it in the- No Night, bad thinking. Bad Bad Bad. No wonder Lady Luck was so fickle with the Kitten, if he was so easily distracted.

"I can look at you all you like Darling, but my lady is a jealous one, and she finds the littlest of moments to make sure I remember that she will forever be my number 1." He held up his finger before looking away, a sly glance at her. "A cat's eye wouldn't be the best place to look for something would it, Often are eyes are mistaken for seeing what cannot be seen, for leading you to the underworld." He winked at her before looking at the dice again.

"Eh you know, I come and go as I please. Not much a of a student I have to say. At least I go to a few classes but find myself a better napper then anything else." He tapped the table as the green aura of his bad luck jinx started to fade. He'd have to pump that up soon. The dice returned to him as he gave her a coy smile.

"I think I have been here since a little before the first train ride to christmas town. After that has been a blur." He smiled again as he rolled the dice in his hands, letting the aura feed into it again before rolling them. "Jack dammit it, Seem's she is really upset with me at the moment."

"A...Ghoul?" She purred, mildly surprised by this while taking the dice into a cupped hand.

Natalia had quite the reputation, even before stepping foot in Amityville; one he may have come across as one point or another, if he had been around long enough. Rumors spread like wildfire amongst teens, the gossip delightfully unbearable...it wouldn't surprise her if the tales did not match the face. But in any case the lemur had that terrible ability to muck up situations such as his; she was actually quite good at ruining things Boils are so easy to persuade. The ones of her past were always quick to remind her of the ghouls they had back home and the trouble they would face if word got out, because mistakes like theirs would not go unpunished by the pushy 'mates' they had chosen. But time and time again she lured them in and had her way, never once entangling herself in the messy webs that relationships weaved...but surely enjoying watching the threads snap beneath the pressure she created. It was nostalgic, tugging at the ends of her sinister lips like every other moment spent with Night had.

At last she leaned in to play her luck, the hint of laughter in her voice leaving one to wonder just how serious she could be. "I am sure in between those moments we could find the time to..." But the open-endedness of her statement was purposeful, hoping his resolve would falter and his imagination would wander freely. She had plenty of affairs to tinker with, particularly interested in the one she shared with Whisper, but adding Nightengale to the list would certainly liven up the options.

The monster huffed and proceeded to drop her cheek into her palm once again, bouncing from topic to topic with ease. "So you are not much of a student, then. Just a...resident? Part-time scholar? What do you do on most days when not in some class? Other than nap?" Which she wouldn't mind joining you for after the game...."Not that I am complaining or anything. Seeing you around campus more often would probably keep me out of class too." Natalia winked, gently pushing the dice with two fingers.
