He's a character I made up for the comic I'm working on, his profile is up. I need to touch up some stuff, but that's about it.

Gene sat on top of a car in the middle of the wrecked city. In one hand was a cigarette and the other was across his lap as he stared down the street at nothing in particular. His expression was similar to a fox face, except his eyes were slightly opened instead of being completely closed. His suit was all black, except the tie and jacket, which were both red. The city was empty and really all that could be heard was a faint wind, even with his hearing, there was nothing. It had been deserted for some time, and he was simply there to meet his match up. The greatest thing about the deserted city was that there was no line in the store for candy. In fact, there was no one he had to pay. If only he had more pockets. He removed the cigarette from his mouth and opened a bag of gummy candies, pouring the contents of the small bag into his mouth. If his opponent didn't arrive soon he would simply get up and go get some more candy. He hoped the other person would show up soon however, he was growing tired of waiting. He hated being bored.

83 wandered throughout the desolate city, gazing at the ruins surrounding him. The scenery gave him an eerie vibe, sending a chill up his spine. The thought of being the only soul in this area almost entered his mind, but the sight of a figure sitting on a car roof munching on gummy candies proved him wrong. The man looked impatient, itching for some sort of entertainment, as 83 roamed around his head.

So he's bored, huh?
I can fix that. 83 reached into his backpack, pulling a box of gummy candies before tossing into the man's direction.

" Here. Maybe that will hold you over until the main event. "

A streak of brown, silver and purple cut the air like a soaring knife, intercepting the airborne bag like a tomahawk missile. "GUMMIES!" The form said as it crashed headlong through a building, shoulder first. The wounded building moaned in grotesque agony before lulling to a whisper once again. The song of winds danced through desolate halls, leave an eerie calm after that dramatic show. Then out swung the doors of the building three slots up the street. The same figure strolled out casually, his hand to his face, rd and clear gummies falling from his already loaded mouth. The young dark skinned boy walked to the middle of the street and turned towards Gene, his attention transfixed on his snack to witness any contorted expression his had caused his to be opponent to make, if it did.

This seemingly simple-minded fool was Rajan Alexander, son of the Succubus Shinra Alexander and doppelganger of his "blood-father," Revan Maxwell. There was no homage paid to either personality wise, seeing as Revan was a deeply business oriented character, and Shinra was very down to Earth individual. Rajan was hardly either when he didn't need to be. "These are phretty phreaking ah-ssume," he gobbled with a full mouth of gummies. "So whose a** am I suppose to kick? I got a date in a few hours and I don't wanna smell of blood, sweat, blood, grime, blood, old-place-dust, blood or death... or blood. So let's get this over with now."

Gene was about to reach out to grab the snack that was so generously tossed towards him, but was intercepted by a strange young man. Well, young as far as he knew. He could here the other person coming, it was something his senses were accustomed to, plus he was yelling, things like that were usually a dead give away. As the figure crashed through the building wall, Gene quirked an eyebrow. Clearly he was strong enough to survive a face plant to the building, maybe this hunt wouldn't be so boring after all. Gene hopped off from the roof of the car and smirked at his supposed opponent. "I believe I am the one you're referring to. But you might have to reschedule that date of yours I'm afraid." He said smoothly, his voice giving off the air of a snake more than a person.

Gene flicked his wrist so that his sleeve went back a little to expose more of his hand and a small glowing orb of yellow light appeared around his hand as he pulled back. From the glowing orb emerged an eighteen inch dagger that glowed with enchanted runes for a second before they disappeared from sight, leaving only the hilt-less, straight edged dagger. Gene held the dagger between his pinky and ring finger in his left hand as he placed a cigarette in his mouth with his opposite hand and a lighter from the glowing orb, his bag of holding. He lit the cigarette and discarded the lighter, inhaling deeply and exhaling. "So." He began, removing with his exhalation, smoking coming from his mouth like the breath of a dragon. "I'll go first then." He said again, though the voice came from directly behind his opponent then from the "him" that still stood in front of the car. Gene flipped the dagger into the palm of his hand and slashed outward at a slight diagonal with his left hand, the right holding onto his cigarette. The image of him in front of the car shattered like glass as he struck at his opponent.

Words. Proper words with now flair. That's what this guy were spewing, and that was the kind of talk that put Rajan to sleep. His mother did this to him all the time, hence his constant slipping away. He loved the succubus mother of his but was she such a bore. Rajan's eyes began to sag, weighted with every word his opponent muttered. That is, until the utterances were right behind him. Snapping erect, he turned inwardly towards the attack with left shoulder, glancing in the direction of his turn not view his opponent directly, but to gaze into the reflective metal-like scales of his gauntlet, which extended from his fingertips all the way to shoulders with a small plate also protecting hhis shoulder blades.

Within the warped image, he could see the the glint of a dagger and coerced his arm into the path. Each gilded scale overlapping the last in a manner that of the creature the armor was conceived from. But the dagger was going against the grain. It would become stuck within its folds, and, with but a flex from Rajan's arm, ensnared between clamping scales. What was more, the nature of the weapon would be revealed. Whatever it's affect may would remain whole hidden, however, if this blade were in some fashion embedded, imbued, enriched, or enchanted by some force, some curse or blessing of any kind, the scales would flicker a deep rust red, sending that red pulse resonating throughout the armor like a pebble disturbing the peace of a still pond, the mask that covers the armors true colors.

"Hey now," Rajan called out as he began his turn. "Carrot Top's got gusto. And get-up. As dagger was intercepted by armor, Rajan unfurled his arm out wards behind him, almost akin to the manner one shot die, but this was intended as a low blow for a counter to a sneaky move. And that low blow would be like no other. Rajan wasn't a weakling. The scales wound around his arms wouldn't help ease any pain either. However, Mr. Illusion here had also proven that he was incredibly fast. The time between the sentence before and and after he had moved were too sequential. Teleportation was instantaneous, and Rajan had felt some degree of disturbance thanks to the few traits he acquired from his father. So it had to be super-speed.

Great.

It wasn't that the Incubus could keep up or defend. But how was he supposed to fight an enemy if they could run and leave behind images. Illusions at that. I really am gonna miss my date.

Gene's face went up into a curious expression as his dagger slid against the scales on Rejan's gauntlet. It wasn't that he had never seen anything like that before, he hadn't really but that wasn't what got him, it was that they had changed colors, and that his blade was now stuck within the scales of the weapon the boy possessed. He could've tried to remove it from the gauntlet, but frankly that would've taken too much time. As soon as the dagger was locked into the gauntlet, Gene assessed this situation and deemed that holding onto the blade would do more harm then good. As he released it, he could feel the shift in Rajan's movement, he was coming around for an attack. At this, Gene smirked. He released the dagger and dashed backwards, but Rajan wouldn't be able to tell that just yet.

As Rejan's fist made contact with what appeared to be Gene, it would start to crack. Since Rejan had turned with his punch, however slightly, he would likely see Gene standing there, and as such, "feel" him as well, but with far less resistance as the "Gene" he had hit was starting to crack. But those cracks weren't the only ones, as soon as Rajan's fist made contact with the illusion, another crack appeared at Gene's throat. The illusion shattered like glass as Gene's dagger came down at Rajan's head through the illusion. Gene held the blade with his arm outstretched and by the very end of the hilt, forcing the blade at his opponent. They were about the same height, so if they were both punching, this wouldn;t have been smart as they would have hit each other, but since gene was holding his dagger as far back as possible, with it still being effectively in his hand, his reach was significantly longer than Rajan's. With the illusion in place, Rajan would have only a fraction of a second between the shattering of the fake Gene and the dagger coming at his face to react. Honestly if he didn't survive that then he wasn't worth Gene's time in his opinion. He shouldn't have put himself into that situation.
