Welcome to the “Hybrid Game”
The first thing you need to know is that this is a two area raffle. You may enter both, but only win ONE. So please, if you enter both areas then please put a preference at the bottom of your post just in case by some miracle you win in both areas.
Area One:: The Hybrid game
We all know what a hybrid animal is. A tiger and a lion can make a liger or a tigon. A zebra and a horse can make a zorse.
But what about Soq? Aren't "hybrid" soq called crossbreeds?
Well yes, but I'm not talking about that. The point of this "game" is to give me two items of inspiration, and I will cross those two items to make you a soq.
So say you give me a rainbow and a tiger, well your soq will then be based off a rainbow and a tiger in whichever way it inspires me.
Area Two:: A Hybrid Family
This basically works the same way as the hybrid game above, but instead of two items of inspiration, you shall hand me one item of inspiration and one soq of your choosing. With the soq and item you turn in I will base a new soq off the two to create a family member for your soq.
This soq can be a parent, sibling, cousin, or even a child to your soq. [Note, if you are hoping for a child the child will be a first gen. Remember that.]
But wait, what if you don't want to use your own soq, but someone else's?
That is fine. Just have them post here after you post saying they agree to your use of their soq to create a new family member.
Basic rules:
You may only enter for each area ONCE.
You may edit your form until closing.
PLEASE choose pairs that match and can work. I will not make a soq based off a jellyfish and a piano. I will NOT make a soq based off a foam puppet and a volcano.
NO cosplays. Real animals and creatures from shows, games, ect are fine for minor inspiration, but no Ash Ketchum, Gin, or whomever.
None of these Soq will go past moderate edits, if I give them edits at all.

Q: May I post something like a song instead of an image when linking one of my items?
A: Yes, if that is what you want, then you may.
Q: May I post my forms separately, or would you prefer them together?
A: I would prefer one post, but if you must, then I don't mind them being separate. Just remember to post your area preference when you hand in the second form.
Q: Can I post more than one link for an item?
A: If you feel one image will not do the item justice, then go right ahead.
Q: What if you find that our pair of items don't work well?
A: I will quote your post and tell you, so that you can go ahead and try again.
Q: Uncerts or Certs?
A: Either is fine.
Q: What if I don't know what to call my item? What if it is some abstract piece or some random thing?
A: Just call it "Item" or "Thing"
Q: What if my item doesn't show the color scheme I am looking for?
A: Them tell me what color scheme you are looking for. Make a note or something.
Q: What if I just want to give a general idea? Can I link a couple of pics to show the general idea of what I am looking for, or link you to google seach?

Hybrid Inspiration: ]Steampunk! x The wild hunt [folklore]
10 Likes:1. I prefer natural horse colors [colors horses come in naturally]. I especially like silver dapples, dapple grays, and palominos.
2. I like medium length hair styles that have some natural flow to them, perhaps with a single strategic braid.
3. I also like 'wilder' hair styles (not templated) that look like the soquili may have just emerged from some bracken. That said, the 'wild' templated style of mane is my favorite. biggrin
4. Templated unicorn tails are cool!
5. Celtic symbols, to couple with the Wild Hunt theme could be neat?
6. Steampunk that's subtle, not glaringly obvious.
7. Open wings, if alicorn, perhaps painted like a gyrfalcon?
8. Cool looking tack!
9. Curved unicorn horns are very nice.
10 Dislikes: 1. The 'many braids' style of templated mane.
2. Neon/unnatural colors.
3. Things that are 'too busy'- I like things sleek and relatively simple.
4. Super short manes and tails.
5. Skin colored soq.

10 Likes: Generally the same as above, re manes, tails, and colors. For a sibling for Alvilda, something similar to the way her mane and tail blows out would be neat, perhaps with a touch more elegance?
Facial markings would be aweeesommmmme.
I like the map theme, but I totally understand if it's too much work.

Anything else: No heavy templates. If by some chance I do win both, my preference leans towards number one, but honestly, do what sparks your interest the most.
