You have stumbled behind a few booths to make a grusome discovery...
It looks like a booth was supposed to be here, but all you find are flipped tables! It is a war-zone of tables. And it looks like the tables lost, badly at that. How...Desu-chan. Considering her booth isn't to far away, you can only assume this is where she tried to set up...and failed. A lot. Each table is off different shape and size. But you notice a pattern...some tables have been flipped more then once, and some...are well, some look they were set up in a certain way. Wait just a minute here! perhaps Desu-chan was trying to make something here!
If each student comes in and flips just a few tables, perhaps something good will happen. A method to this flipped madness will be relieved.
Or you can use them to build a fort, use the table covers as ground cover and eat on them and have yourself a place to eat. It is a mystery. At the very least, with all the tables flipped, you know she won't come to flip your food all over while you're eating!

............ .....................................
O_____________O
Sura had come across the carnage of the flipped tables. She looked over the entire scene with a sort of gross curiosity, head tilting to one side, then to another. She slowly leaned forward and reached out to touch one of the tables, grass tearing up beneath the slowly shifting weight of her body as she looked it over.
Carefully she turned the table right side up again, picked it up with one hand, then tilted her head again.
O_____________O
She turned the table so the bottom of it faced towards her... then away from her, then back towards her again. Taking another hand the 10-foot-tall colossus flipped it from top to bottom, observing it carefully.
It seemed to be innocent enough.
After a long moment she opened her mouth and clamped down on the darn thing, biting into it testingly. Immediately she pulled it out of her mouth, teeth marks and drool marring the edge she'd been investigating.
O_____________O
With a final thought she looked at the table, looked at the other tables littered about, then lifted the table above her head and chucked it, watching to see how far she'd managed to throw the damn thing. It wasn't food, it wasn't interesting, so she had to do something with it that was purposeful!
O_____________O
It hadn't gone as far as she would have liked it to

Mac was learning a lot of new things during his so far short time as Lizzy's boilfriend. Fairly important things, like how long she's willing to wait for him to ask her to the Festival, for one. When the posters first went up she had given him a look, a hopeful one. As time wore on the very barest of hints followed, and Mac, who had honestly been planning to ask her from the start, wanted to see how long it would take for her to crack and ask him. She didn't, so he finally did.
Next? He learned that when she sets her mind on something, she sets her mind on something. This was learned when he showed up at her dorm room to pick her up and was told - not asked - to wear a yukata. He resisted, but in the end he showed up at the festival wearing one. It should be noted that he did have one small victory in the entire fiasco: he was still wearing his hat.
He was probably waiting to see how long it would take her to get that off him, too.
"...What happened here...?" The Reaper breathed out in awe, finally arriving with his date to the Festival, only to first come across a sea of mostly flipped, semi-flipped and totally flipped tables - wait was that one table broken? A curious glance was given down at the pink haired Demoness at his side, brow raised.

She had missed the Open House, but when she heard about the Floresctival, the reaper wanna-be jumped on the chance.
Hel grinned as she looked down at a fallen table near her booted foot, and then examined the area. Whatever happened here, she was disappointed that she missed it! It looked like a ton of fun! A dark hand came to rub her chin contemplatively. What kind of battle could have happened here…whatever it was, it must have been awesome. The girl did another look over of the area, as a good strategist would when planning out a battle plan. Oh…! There were a few others here. Dual toned eyes watched as a ghoul tried to throw a table, her lips shifting into a quirky smile as she then caught sight of a boil looking confused.
Oh, the possibility for new…comrades!
She would move over to the reaper boil first, as he was the closest to her. On the chance she would be accepted to the Academy, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to have made a few bonds hopefully.
“Hello, friend.” She greeted cheerfully to Mac as she approached him.

WHERE WAS HE?
An obviously agitated feline did all she could to keep herself from stomping around the grounds, looking slightly out of place in her overdressed Victorian-inspired attire.
Her red eyes darted across the area, just waiting to pinpoint a certain orange tabby. He'd mentioned something about this festival in the ridiculous amount of messages the boil had left on her skelephone. What would she do when she got ahold of him? Nothing pleasant, that's for sure.
Riyo had done everything she possibly could to convey just how much she disliked him, and yet he STILL wouldn't leave her alone. What was left other than a confrontation face to face?
The fact that the 'picnic' area was in shambles didn't even merit a response from the obviously enraged ghoul, who continued to scan through the crowd.
At her legs was a nergal hazcat, who didn't appear interested in the hunt. Instead, his attention was drawn to the area, climbing up on one of the flipped tables so he could better watch his owner search for whatever she was so intent on finding.

Mot had first heard about the festival from Xiu over Groanspring. Suddenly it seemed posters about it were everywhere. Go figure.
With not much else to do that day, and never one to turn down a party, Mot approached the festivities, particularly the flipped table... attraction? Was.. this supposed to be this way? "What in the---" Mot then spotted Lizzy and Mac, grinning and giving a two fingered wave. "Howdy, guys!"

A light bump to Riyo's leg, should it get her attention, would reveal a Hazcat that was not her own. This one was brown, or perhaps just filthy, with a mangled appearance to match. It looked up to her through the mask's orange lenses, a raspy meow sounding from behind the mouthpiece.
The ghoul's phone notified her of a new text.
'Are we playing Hide & Sneak, now?'
And another. Just because he could.
'You're it. ;3'

Honestly? Lizzy had won because she knew he wouldn't let go of his hat (Mac and Mot must be related, seriously, except Mot is a lot less frowny) so she had gotten a green yukata for him. While she liked to match, she figured that there was enough green on Mac for the both of them and went for something that practically shouted 'OH LOOK, I'M A BLACK WIDOW' color-wise.
"... I don't know," She replied after a while, "And... Don't really want to know...?" She was curious though. Sort of. Not enough to really approach the person in charge of the booth for it though. Before she could comment on it more though, a cheerful voice caught her attention, causing her to bend over to peer over Mac; boy, did she choose the wrong grumpy reaper to greet.
"Hey there!" She chirped just as cheerfully back, a smile on her lips; judging from the lack of a skull pin, she must be a visitor? Again, before she could continue along that train of thought, a familiar voice caught her attention and she grinned, looking towards the direction of the greeting.
"Mottttt!" She waved back before moving towards him and giving him a quick hug, taking his wrist, and pulling him over. Yes, she thought about forcing him into a yukata too, but... Which yukata goes with a cowboil hat?
"I'm Lizzy," She (belatedly) introduced herself to the new ghoul who had spoken to Mac before, sounding even more cheerful than before as she giggled, "Nice to meet you!"

"NOT RIGHT NOW F-" Riyo started, until she noticed the hazcat rubbing against her leg was most certainly not her own. Immediately she regretted shouting at the poor thing, considering how rough the poor cat looked.
Glancing around to make sure nobody was paying attention, the larger feline reached down to give the brown hazcat a gentle pat on the head. "I'm sorry." she cooed, giving the creature a scratch behind the ears before a vibrating noise came from her pocket.
Oh no he just didn't.
Slowly, Riyo stood back up straight. Was he really that stupid? As she pulled the phone from her pocket, it let out another alert of a text.
A fire ignited in the ghouls eyes as she read his taunting words, immediately storming towards the tables. "Come out come out wherever you are!" Her words were practically a hiss as she reached out her hands to shove one as hard as she possibly could. Deacon wasn't just poking the bee hive with a stick, he was shoving his head into the nest and sticking his tongue out at all the already pissed off insects that were ready to make his face swell up to pumpkin proportions.
Noticing the other hazcat in the area, Felix almost immediately hopped off the table and approached the scruffy feline, his own meow muffled behind the mask. Though, he didn't appear hostile (unlike his master).

The sound of a voice caught his attention, and Mac looked over his shoulder at the ghoul he was faced with; something told him she was probably a little bipolar. He wasn't sure what gave him that idea, it couldn't possibly have been the clear split in skin and eye colours. No, of course not!
"Hey there." He replied nicely enough, even adding a little wave to the ghoul. Before he could say anything more, Mot drew his attention, and soon received a grin. "Sup, dude?" Lizzy was doing enough affectionate greeting for the both of them, and that left him to look at the new ghoul and the mess. "Kind of makes you wanna help with the chaos, eh?" He jested, gesturing towards the flipped tables and recalling the ghoul who had tried to toss one. Actually...now he kind of wanted to flip a table. It just sounded like fun!
"Ah...Right. I'm Mac." Apparently Lizzy reminded him of his manners when she introduced herself to the dual-toned Reaper, and so he did the same. Even extended a hand. Yay being civil!

Levi wasn't sure what to make of this new setting. It seemed like the school was having another festivity? Ah- a festival! The tatzel had more knowledge of festivals than of proms, so she had no trouble waltzing into the scene. In plain jean shorts, an orange tank top with white blouse and sandals, she came across a widespread area with flipped tables. This was like the real version of that open house game? Real tables were flipped. Raising a brow, she couldn't help but be curious and flip a random table over just to see if she could.
It went over easy enough and the tatzel prided that she still had it. Some muffled voices were then heard; familiar ones. Looking over, she spotted many of the faces she'd known and some new ones as well. Her first instinct was to walk behind a certain boil and give him a sneaky tap on his hat before greeting everyone around the table. Fancy seein' ya'll 'ere! Lizzy, Mot, ...er.... The tatzel hadn't yet met Mac (though she'd seen him around at prom) or Hel before, so she offered her name then just as Mac offered his. Names Levi!

"Oh! Is this another game?" Syb asked as she entered the... maze. She clapped her hands happily, then frowned, thinking hard as she looked at all the upside down tables. "I remember flipping little paper tables, but these aren't paper, are they?" she said, walking into the area.
"Hello everybody! Does anyone know how we play this?" she asked anyone and everyone willing to listen to her. So far she hadn't run into anyone that she knew, but that wasn't going to stop her this time!

Sura's attention turned, though not with any sudden movements, on the group that seemed to have assembled in the area-of-tables-she-could-not-eat. She looked over all of them with long and careful stares, her head tilting to one side, then to another.
"Small....." she said, slowly, as though considering the possibility of actually checking if she could smash anybody present. She had to try not to, however, and instead she just picked up another table to see if she could eat it. Was this one edible?
... .....
No. It was not.
For Sura, edible meant she could fit the entirety of the object into her mouth, and in this case she hadn't been able to, so like with the first one, Sura threw the second table.
O__________O
It went much farther than the first.

"Is that how we play it?" Syb asked the gigantic ghoul who had just tossed a table. "But if it won't fit in your mouth, it definitely won't fit in mine! So I'll just throw it!" she decided happily, grabbing the nearest table and giving it a toss.
"Oh, yay!!" she said as she watched the table flip far. "That was fun!!"

All of the bright colored lights, the smell of something almost fish like, and the rather cheerful noises of the festival was starting to grate on Joachim's last bit of restfulness he had. He wanted to sleep so why was he here? That was right, he had received a message from Muka that he would be there and considering he still had yet to send him a letter of thanks for sending him a gift. He hoped that he would run into him at the event but so far no luck, instead all he got was a head full of noise and a scowl lingering on his face.
Luckily there was a picnic spot, or at least it was at some point considering half the tables were flipped over, dent and a complete mess and probably the most useless piece of wood to eat on. The somewhat dim lighted side was the fact that it was quiet for the most part other than a few students chatting among one another. PIcking a table that was on its side he sat down in the grass and rested his back against it closing his eyes tightly.
Crash, the noise of a nearby table that had been flipped disturbed his sleep, so much for that hope.
