 It was just about high-noon. The sun was high on the sky, the grasslands and the woodlands lively and sunny. Soon, the day would would start becoming night. The bright blue skies would turn darker, and the strong yellows would become mellow oranges. Liraz made a content humming sound in the back of his throat. Soon it would be evening, soon it would be his time.
He was currently hiding in a cave. He liked that - hiding. Objects, himself, the truth... Yes, anything that could be hidden, should be hidden. Even if just for a short game, but also for more important, life-affecting events. Like how one female didn't need to know that her mate had been her unfaithful with another ulaya - it was just one night. Or like how a male didn't need to know that his frail, vegetarian female was really a meatloving hellhound - she was doing it to make him love her. Secrets - they were what made the world go around.
This time, he wasn't hiding because of a game. He wasn't really hiding for any particular reason. Perhaps he wasn't actually hiding at all. His twin sister was probably somewhere nearby. Unlike him, she loved the morning and the light. He smiled fondly. She had a knack for solving his riddles and uncovering his hidings. She would probably come bounding past soon, insisting that she had found his hiding spot, again. There were few things that she didn't figure out sooner or later. A small frown marred his otherwise peaceful face. But there were some things she just couldn't know... ever.

Lisha sniffed a passionate pink flower, it's pleasant scent tickling her senses as it's pollon touched her nose. Raising her head from the summer carnation, she turned her gaze to the sky above. Nightfall would come soon and her brother will come out of his hiding place he found to be so much better than the sunshine she enjoyed so much herself. Why was he just so different than her? Was it because they were twins or was it more than that? Shaking her head at the thoughts running through her mind, Lesha raised her light blue rump off the ground and dusted the dirt off her tail. "I shall find you again, brother. Why must you always hide from me?"
Setting her sights on the ground and her nose in the air, Lesha began hunting for her brother's scent. She found it to be a pleasant scent, a one of a kind smell that she would always associate with her brother. This was a trick she always used to finding his hiding places, that was the only thing no matter what he tried he would fail hiding from her. Rounding a corner in a forest path Lesha paused and looked to the side, off from the beaten trail. Stepping softly she began treading through the rough forest, twigs breaking underneath her graceful paws and bushes shifting aside to her slender figure.
Looking up towards a cavern she sighed, possitive that he was residing inside it's shadows and secrets it kept enclosed behind the entrance. It was a typical hiding place for him, she was almost getting upset with how uncreative he was starting to get. "C'mon Liraz, give me a challenge sometime." She laughed at herself and then sat on the ground next to a large oak tree to await his exit of the cave. She didn't want to annoy him with her presence but she also wanted to see him once in a while and wasn't going to miss his steps into the night.
