Before the trouble, and before she left the pride to go and find Corbin's family. She decided that she would hunt and give her final byes with a big giant meal. Her old friends, though they all seemed like a family, the pride was smaller than most and everyone seemed like family. With a big feast of her bringing, or what she was planning she'd probably need a helping hand. Most, if not all knew she'd be venturing out in to the roguelands for a short time. The lands were vast, and with small vegetation from what everyone knew was the only hunting ground they managed to get things that would otherwise be dead near the desert.
Hunting around the stream made it a little easier for her. As she got nearer she noticed a rather beautiful female, and almost immediately recognized her. They were probably born around the same time, as she looked almost identical in age or so she thought. Not wanting to disturb a future kill near by she stalked down and made her way towards the female in question.. Careful and quickly.. Maybe she could meet up, talk a little then bring back a kill together? There was only one way to find out..
Turning around through a bush. "Hello~" Her voice rang but in a low soft tune.
Her totem wasn't that far off, though Corbin chose to look the other way when it came to her hunting his own kind but he couldn't help but understand her and wish she were more careful. Hidden in the bushes, Corbin was on the look out.. Eyes were golden as to pierce the sands that he hid in. Beckoning her to please not cause anyone trouble.. Or for himself not to be eaten from behind, but everyone knew him already! Someone better not! Lowering his body more to the ground..
'Oh Ace.. Why do you have to bring others involved.. I hope their from the pride.. yes they look from the pride. Oh Ace~' He still worried, and plainly, over nothing.

 Astar was waiting for her totem, the wild dog Kuma, to return from his scouting trip. He would be bringing news of herd movement, news that they’d both relay to the Head Huntress so that a hunting party could be organized for that specific area the next day.
She could already see him in the distance so she wasn’t expecting a voice to come from any other direction. Turning her head quickly, Astar watched the other lioness with her light green gaze, quickly recognizing her as someone from the pride and she smiled. They were about the same age but Astar didn’t remember ever talking to her.
“Hello. I’m Astar.” She said in much the same tone, looking around briefly to see if there was some creature she might’ve missed and that this lioness was considering hunting.

( Finally! XD I know right! Sorry bout the wait! )
"You are- from our pride.. Daughter of.." She thought for a moment before jumped next to the lioness.. "Chana right?" She looked up in the wait.. The scouts should be here soon- but with how she was hunting- Corbin made it his duty to watch her. She was acting more like she was enjoying killing, as if it gave her relief and she had brought more food than the pride needed- both symbolizing something was wrong. What are you waiting for?" She hoped for an answer as her ears laid back.
He couldn't take the waiting game and every second that passed by was like an hour in his head. Finally at a moment's notice he sprung out of the bushes and looked like a chicken with his head cut off as he lost sight of her through the bushes. Not looking like someone's totem- looking like someone's dinner ! Frantically looking in all sorts of directions and bouncing around. It was his nerves- yep though darn nerves that made him bounce~

“Yes. Chana and Yehudah are my parents.” Her smile faltered. Astar was rather sensitive to the body language of others so she was somewhat surprised when the other lioness’ ears lowered and she didn’t introduce herself in return. “Ah… my totem. That dark wild dog over there. He’s a scout.” She looked back at the approaching shape, taking some comfort from the mere sight of him. Silently, she wondered if she’d done something to upset the other lioness.
“Ah, Kuma.” As the wild dog drew closer, Astar let out a soft sigh of relief.

The dark wild dog with the matching adornments picked up the pace when he realized he had been spotted by the familiar shape of his companion. He stepped closer to the patched lioness, taking note of the little signs of anxiety in her features. It was not unusual for the lioness to worry about him when he as working alone so he didn’t really think too much of it.
“Hello.” Kuma said softly to the pale lioness before his blue eyes turned to look at Astar. “There’s a klipspringer in those bushes… I think I’ve seen him before in the pride. Ah... what is he doing?” Kuma cocked his head comically when the klipspringer jumped out of the bushes, eying the tasty-looking totem with a hint of amusement.

"Oh I knew your parents, and I must have saw you.. when you were just a cub. You are probably as just a lil older than my children. They too have reached in to their paws.. and out in to the world." A soft smile crossed her maw. She was a very young mother, and raised her cubs with her best friend who left as soon as they were juvs. Now that seemed like just a memory, and still she had that softness like a kid herself- and as active as ever.
"Oh your totem- mine too is a-" Til he sprung out like he did, and she merely laughed and padded the ground. "That is my totem-! His name is Corbin.. He was waiting for me..Corbin! Over here!"
Bouncing around with his nerves at every inch of his hooves, made him leap and leap til he heard his guide's voice and stopped.. For a moment before a spaz of moment came out of him before galloping over to them, and as soon as the wilddog was in view, he dodged away a moment- circled around and came up on Ace's side. Smiling nervously. "He-he-hello-- one of the pride- I a-a-ahh-assume. Heh." His voice shakily. "Totem- right?" Addressing to the wilddog, as he still shook out of fear..
"That's her totem." Shaking her head and softly petting the springer, and pushed him in front of her. "He had told me this morning that on the south past their were some game.. Would you want to come see it with me?" Her smile widened.

Kuma was definitely amused but he did not show it in his expression. He could understand how the smaller totem might feel a little intimidated in the presence of so many predators – even Kuma sometimes looked at the large felines all around him and shook his head, trying to remember how he had ended up in a pride populated mostly by lions.
“I’m Kuma.” He told the jumpy creature, sitting down in order to appear as unthreatening as possible. He lifted one paw and lowered his head in order to better show his matching adornments. “I’m Astar’s totem.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Corbin. It seems we have matching colors.” Astar told the klipspringer gently, hoping that would be enough to show him he was amongst friends before her attention returned to the other lioness. “Ah, yes. I believe I’ve met your children.” She watched as Kuma attempted to interact with the other totem, she remembered their plans.
“Ah, sorry. I can’t.” She looked truly disappointed. “Kuma was scouting an area and we have to go talk to the Head Huntress now to make preparations for tomorrow’s hunt. But… perhaps another day? Maybe we’ll hunt together tomorrow.”
