Honestly gang, it's an EXTREMELY light list, and is really only used when we can't get into Gaia for whatever reason. Otherwise, it's almost never used. You can join and forget it.

How funny! Apparently I have already been a member there and did not realize.
Most likely because I avoid yaphooey, with the exception of Y!m.
I suppose if someone finally came out with a messenger I liked 1/2 as well, even Y!m would get ignored here too.

very few Brits seem to use it though, they seem to prefer MSN which i can't understand as i don't like it much at all!
The Purkle gaians group is a handy thing to have on standby though, even if it doesn't get used much

I agree with Jelly. All the faes and council have groups they use on yahoo. They seem to work well for us.

Yaphooey (or Yahell as I like to call it razz ) is the only messenger that I ever use. For some reason, my msn got to where it kept telling me that my password was wrong, so I can't use it anymore.

i use to have trillian which let me have 3 messengers opened at once....but yahoo is the only one i have now....it is what i started with and is the only one i am somewhat comfy with...as for the groups....i feel about them like i do the neo guilds..so unorganizeed and it moves too fast for me... sweatdrop

I'm using Gaim now. AIM is my most comfortable chat engine, but so many people are on Y!M, I needed to get on there too. And why have 2 things when I can have one! I used Trillian for a long time, but then I discovered Gaim and it's a lot more user-friendly.
As far as Yahell groups, I enjoy them the best out of all the other ones I've tried. Although I've heard good things about Google groups, but that's still in beta. I keep the Yahoo couch on digest personally. Used to keep it no mail and read in the group, but it's easier this way, and allows me to use my Neomail inbox more to up my SHH events!
