A P P E A R A N C E
This cosplay is entirely open to the artist's interpretation.
I don't know how clothes would sit on him, so they aren't necessary.
Light's eyes should be narrow, angry, and cold. His mouth should be set in a grim line.
His hair should fall over his forehead, nearly obscuring his eye, and continue in sleek, disheveled fashion down his neck.
Light will have the Death Note perhaps in his mouth or under his hoof, with a pile of apples at his feet.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Light will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He has no reservations about using people; twisting their emotions, their dreams, their wants, and their desires to fit his own needs.
Light almost has two personalities; to most people, he seems like a kind guy with a gentle heart. But he is extremely cunning, and is always thinking of ways to achieve his goals.
Light's intelligence is absolutely astonishing; it seems as if he knows what others will do before they can even think of it themselves. Light has an easy manner about him, and generally graces those around him with sweet words and sweeter smiles.
But don't let that fool you.
Light believes that the world would be better off without certain people in it, and he believes that he alone can decide which people are worthy to live in this perfect Utopia he strives to create.
Occasionally, fits of mild insanity overtake Light, and he refers to himself as "Kira". It is in this state that he is especially cunning, deceiving, spiteful, and deadly. If someone were to cross him, Kira would stop at nothing to take them out in a way to where no one would realize it was he who had done it.
Whenever Light is Kira, every move he makes, every word he speaks is carefully calculated, weighed, and assessed against what he desires and strives for. He will not hesitate to use anything to get his way, no matter the cost.
A L I G N M E N TSurprisingly, Light is allied with the King. His Chosen is Altais, who has the same sort of cunning personality as Light does. The two together, if crossed, will destroy whatever offended them. Though Light believes that Azrein and humans should Bond, he has such a skewed sense of justice and what is "right" that sometimes he takes this way too far. Whenever Light is in one of his mildly-insane moments, he comes off as Evil to those around him, and he goes nearly berserk. Kira is not one to be taken lightly. C H O S E N Altais Malbain is Light's Chosen -- and he has a mind just as twisted, just as ruthless, and just as intelligent as Light's. The two of them together make a nearly unstoppable pair, and Altais' mind is quite unstable. Altais wears a silk blindfold over his eyes, and no one knows for sure whether or not he is blind. He acts normal, however underneath the blindfold, his eyes are an extremely light blue. Blind or not, the blindfold doesn't seem to hamper him. Whenever Light becomes Kira and Altais is around, the blindfold comes off entirely so he may work seriously with Kira to achieve what they both desire the most. However, no matter what his Chosen asks him to do, Light will do without hesitation, since the two of them are merely the same mind in two separate bodies. If Altais wished for Light to murder the King himself, Light would do it, no questions asked. Light and Altais have an inseparable Bond, and nothing can come between them.
