Deep in a forest, a young mare wandered the depths of the forest scavenging for some food. Her violet eyes took in the surrounding area for any fresh carcasses. Her nostrils flared, taking in a deep breath of air to smell the scent of a fresh kill. Her ears twirled and swiveled for the noises of any scavengers fighting over a fresh carcass. Alas, there was an eerie quietness to the forest. Perhaps, there was going to be a fresh kill in the works now.
Continuing forward in the forest, she had no particular direction in mind. She kept her senses open for a chance encounter with a carcass, otherwise she would have to go fishing or hunt a rabbit, and she was not particularly feeling like hunting today on this warm day.

His ears perked, listening. The noise was faint, but it was definetely there. A faint snapping and cracking of dead leaves and thin twigs. Someone was near. Liev smirked, peering in the direction of the footsteps. Now who could that be and why would they be here? He silently moved toward the mysterious intruder, his feet making no noise as they delicately picked a path through the forest. The male moved with the noiseless grace that only his kind was known for.
Ah. There it was. A female. Liev smirked, watching her. He had no doubt that she would notice him, he wasn't exactly trying to conceal himself. The hybrid slowly swung his long tail along behind him. He'd wait for her to notice him.

Tiger's Eye continued forward, letting her sense of smell and hearing guide her to her next meal. It wasn't long until a certain scent invaded her nostrils that told her she was not alone. Quirking a brow, the mare caught sight of a intricately marked stallion before her. His breed was not that of her own, but he was at least the same stature as she. Her head wings and butt wings twitched in her excitement.
"Why, hello there." She said with a devious smirk on her face. "What brings you out here?" She asked, stepping forward to get a closer look at the stallion. The rumbling of her stomach was audible and fueled her further to get a look at the other usdia.

It didn't take her long. Good. Liev dipped his head, smirking. "Brings me? What makes you think that this couldn't be my home?" He stepped closer, taking care to keep his long tail from brushing the ground. "The question should be, what brings you out here?" His ear twitched as an audible growl rolled from the mare's stomach. "Food then?" He chuckled. Liev's eyes moved to the stranger's miniature wings, raising and eyebrow. "..... What exactly are you?" The patterned usdia asked bluntly.

Tiger’s Eye just grinned at the stallion. “You forget, we all migrated here.” Her forked tail flicked behind her as she glanced about the area. “You’re home? How fancy.” She muttered, not clearly impressed by his choice of home. Once she found a good hunting ground, she would settle down somewhere secluded and with shiny things, like some precious rocks. Now, that’s her kind of home.
“If it wasn’t obvious, yes. I am hungry.” She said with a playful grin, staring at the stallion. Of course, she knew that the stallion would be on the tough side of hunting down in comparison to a fresh carcass, or small prey like rabbits and rodents. The mare couldn’t help but imagine him as meal.
The mare quirked a brow. “Are you not familiar with the breeds, halfbreed?” She asked, feeling her imp wings twitch.

He lashed his tail to and fro, shuffling in place. She was eyeing him oddly.... "I didn't say this was my home. I said it could be." Liev snorted, raising an eyebrow. She was a bit creepy with those wings of her's. They were like bats. "I know most of the breeds, but I don't know your's." The small male glanced sideways before he again met her eyes.
"You're a meat eater, yes? There was some small animal back a way that met its end somehow. That might fill your stomach." The idea of eating some dead creature wasn't exactly a plesant thought for the stallion but he couldn't stop her from her natural diet.
