Thane felt oddly peaceful tonight. He'd trained hard today. He'd actually broken through one of the young tree's that loosley lined the area around his family's cave. It had taken him many days, but it had snapped his the powerful kick of his hind legs. He was growing stronger. He loved the tingle in his muscles, all over. Especially now as he laid on the beach, enjoying the moon rays lighting the coast up like it were a pearly sun, the stars freckles in the sky.
Yet, he wasn't sleepy. The sun had set long ago, and by now he'd usually be conked out, snoring. His snoring was DREADFUL, really. But he wanted to stay up, and not leave his small world for even the dreams that waited. The waves were the only noises he picked up, besides his heart beat. Even the animals in the grassier area with trees behind him grew quiet enough he didn't notice them any longer.
Such serenity after a long day of trying to kill bark and hall rocks.

Sophitia quietly continued to travel, she enjoyed travelling by night. The air was cool and stale at the beach, unlike the daytime's blistering sun and terrible insects. She had been travelling with Zisor for weeks now, but they decided to part for a few days to attend to personal matters. She missed him. No, not him, she missed companionship.
She spied something in the distance, something... blue. She galloped towards it, flinging sand behind her, she felt adrenaline pumping through her. could this be the spirit I've been searching for? coursed through her mind as she approached, getting closer and closer by the second.

Even the peaceful state Thane had sunk into couldn't drown out the sound of pounding hooves hitting thick sand. Jerking his head in the direction of the noise, his body was up and in a defensive stance before he'd given his mind time to process why he was doing it. A thread. On his family's territory. was the only thing at the forefront of his mind now.
He watched as a blond figure surged away from the green. Pale lavender floated around it, and something shined in the rays of moon. With ears laid back, and wings spread wide before him, he bulked up his muscles to appear bigger. Bigger, the better, right? He was sure his family could hear him from this spot, but would he want them to join him? No, it would put mother in too much danger. And he'd never seen Silas truly fight. Father? Oh Father could take an army out, but he didn't want even such a stallion as Jericho in harms way. It was on him.
All these thoughts erupted in miliseconds as the figure approached at a steady pace. He was ready.
