Akumu bowed as courtesy and manners dictate. Even though he knew the gesture was pointless since she was blind, but his good-mannered habits persisted and he did the gesture knowingly of this.
"I am Akumu Ravenscar, Scythe-Meister. This is my partner Yuki Moon, Demon Scythe. It is a pleasure to properly make your acquaintence Miyuko-sensei. I have lived here for quite as while as you probably already know, but I have never made a proper introduction with you before."
He replied calmly and properly. He has heard of Miyuko-sensei and has seen her many times before in the Academy, but she was a strict proffessor who taught a class that required a team to already be formed, and so Akumu had always shied away from her until now.
It was quite the pleasure to finally meet her correctly, and see for himself her teaching methods. He liked how she had immediately asked a question pertaining to the class subject as a part of the introduction. Very proficient it was, and he admired that a great deal.
"I will answer your question now. Since you didn't exactly specify what adversary we are up against, and what kind of handicap it is that we suffer exactly other than being outnumbered, I'm assuming we are fighting evil human souls and the handicap is that of number of units. Well as a scythe-wielder, we have the advantage against numbers since it is a sweeping centrifugal weapon and has a very good range. This can keep the enemies at a distance, and fight off multiple attackers. As to how to defeat them, we would most likely Soul Resonate and use Witch Hunting Whirlwind Cut to reduce the majority of the opponents."
"From there we would fight each remaining enemy one-by-one while keeping ourselves from being surrounded by the others. We would also try to make sure not to back ourselves up against a wall or impassable obstacle behind us, because contrary to popular belief that this keeps the enemy in front of us that while this is true it also cuts off escape routes. As well, a scythe requires a signifigant amount of room in order to be effective and cornering ourselves would only hinder that."
"Of course this is only a strategy for the information of the situation as far as I can tell of what it is. If you provide more details as to what is happening and what we are facing, then I may have to change our strategy. Is that sufficient?"
Akumu states very matter-of-factly to Miyuko-sensei. He had kept his eyes closed the whole time he was explaining his strategy, playing out the circumstances and situation in his mind. Combat and Strategy is what he has taught and trained himself for ever since he arrived here at the Academy nearly a decade ago. No friends and a burning desire to become stronger make for one very dedicated student.

Akumu sat down calmly in a nearby desk as Miyuko-sensei explained the supposed error of his strategy, when he in fact knew that her reasoning in a real situation would have been her fault, not his. He set his lunch bag on the desk and began pulling out sandwiches he had prepared in his room. He also pulled out some coffee in a thermos along with a cup and half-and-half cream and sugar. As well, he had a pack of soda if Yuki preferred that. He poured himself a cup of the dark steaming liquid from the thermos and added two cubes of sugar and some half-and-half cream, making a Breve. He sipped the coffee softly as he looked back at the teacher.
"Yuki, feel free to eat one of the sandwiches and have a cup of coffee. I'm in love with the stuff, but if you prefer I have soda as well."
"And as for your reply Miyuko-sensei, pardon my retort but that would be your fault."
"You gave us a situation, and I stated my strategy based off the information given. That was the objective. You are saying that it was my fault for not questioning the scenario. But know this, in a real case, the units don't question the commanding officers. They can only know that they would be told any and all related information. You would have been the officer who did not tell her men the whole situation, so any loss of units because of that would have been your fault. You cannot blame the soldiers for something they didn't know. In battle there are always unknowns, but a strong strategist knows this and uses what is available and known. If you are too hesitant and cautious, it can be just as bad as being too aggressive and rash. A true commander knows to always be decisive in their actions. If you are hesitant and wary, it will spread to your forces and they will be unsure of what they are doing because the commander is."
"A situation. Say a preemptive strike against an enemy force must be made in order to have any chance at victory, but the exact knowledge of the oppositions logistics are not known. If the leading officer believes that his men cannot take action because of this then they would be destroyed in the later battles due to his hesitant ways. Or if the officer had ordered action, but the men had questioned their superior in hesitation because they did not know much then they could have lost their opportunity to strike."
"So it is true that I assumed, but in the scenario I devised a strategy with what information my commanding officer, you, had told me. The strategy was generalized enough that it could be changed or revised to adapt to a situation as more intelligence was gathered. Now if my strategy failed due to the fact my strategy was not prepared for what the situation truly was, whose fault is it? The soldier who couldn't have known what to expect? Or the leader who withheld information? It's a pretty obvious choice."
"Your action of not telling me in a real scenario could have cost friendly units. So if this had happened, would have been my fault? Or yours for not telling me the whole story? Besides, I did say that if you told me more info then I may have to change my plan. So I answered your question, while still allowing for you to add anything you deemed necessary."
"That may have been a bit much, but I have been here long enough to know how battles operate. You were the one who assumed I was supposed to question orders. Soldiers don't question orders in case you didn't know."
Akumu calmly said back to Miyuko-sensei. He meant no disrespect, but it was not his fault he wasn't told everything. He took another drink of coffee and began unwraveling one of the sandwiches.

Akumu saw that Yuki was in distress. She was too shy for this open questioning. He took another sip of coffee as he wondered whether he should aid her and face the consequences of Miyuko-sensei's possible sanctions against him for doing so.
He decided he would since she was his partner and didn't want to see her struggle so much.
"Apologies, but Yuki is shy so I can speak for her. I know her well enough to clarify her answer. Yuki and I are both musicians, and so we use a song we both know to act as a median for our souls. So when we are in sync would be to feel the pulse and beat of it, matching our wavelengths to it. We have performed it before quite a few times rather easily. With the median to follow it is much easier, plus Yuki and I are compatible enough to match wavelenghts with relative ease. We can feel each other's soul as if it were our own we are in synch. As well, because we use music, it can make it easier for us to perform Team Soul Resonance with other meisters and weapons."
"I apologize if by me helping her displeases you, but I won't watch my partner be in distress over anything."
"Also, Yuki, I found your violin and case. I took them to my dorm, and put them there for safe-keeping. Sorry, but I never got a chance to tell you."
Akumu said calmly again as he sips his coffee. He took a bite out of his turkey sandwich he had and downed it with another drink of coffee.

Andy slightly opened the door to the classroom, smiling awkwardly. "Uh- hello there. Is this the room of Miyuko-sensei?"she asked politely. She glanced over to Yuki and Akumu, smirking as she takes a step further into the classroom.

'So this must be the Strategy and Combat class. A very nice one indeed. I remember my father talking about how much fun it was, thinking up ways of throwing off the Kishin in their steps, confusing the minds, and destroying them. It seemed second nature to him after his days at DWMA and when he started on his many missions. Alastar completed each one with simple ease. Until he met my mother, Raven. As he told me, he knew he needed to reap her to get his hundreth soul, but there was something about her. The way she conversed, the way she thought. Just something' she thought, looking at Miyuko.
