Ok so i haven't b***h about bay in some time so here we go.
Just got home home from seeing it and over all i did not hate it, Leonard Nimoy voicing for transformers again how amazing is that?! Sentinel Prime, space bridges, and we finely get to see the robots as characters, plus Megs got a sweet alt mode and symmetrical robot form.
So the bad, what the was with the big snake monster, why not use trypticon? and for a 3hr movie couldn't Bay have taken 5min to explained what happen to Megan Fox's character or the twins.
Spoiler In white What the hell was with Optimus Prime shooting Sentinel Prime in the back of the head at the end there i mean really WTF that was so not a Prime thing to do that one moment ruined the whole movie for me.

I personally didn't care for the movie.
Too much human and not enough bots and cons. They didn't properly introduce characters and just killed them off as fast as they came on the screen in my opinion. Heck, even characters that had been in weren't properly re-introduced.
The twins? Arcee -- she was "triplets" or did you mean that horrible pair Mudflap and Skids? ( they were in the movie )
As for Megan Fox, who cares. She was out... I mean, sure -- if the story was about humans I'd care -- but it's Transformers -- not like they gave the Transformers much time anyway.
Spoilers in white - 1) Why the frag didn't Ironhide get ANYTHING for him in the end? No one said a damn thing about how they were upset Ironhide passed. 2) They killed off so many so easily, just irked me how fast Optimus offlined Megatron (what... 2 minutes?). 3)What the heck was with Megatron? Carley should have been SMASHED and then he could have gotten to pummel Sentinel into the ground... not just got up after growling and gone off and let her live.

Some spoilers ahead.
Movie was visually impressive, but there were so many loose ends and plot holes it was more like a ball of tangled yarn than a movie. I like the new girl, no problems with her, but I was disappointed that Shockwave (one of the bigger villans) recieved no speaking parts. What happened to Brains and Wheelie? Is no one mourning Ironhide? What happened to Detroit (or wherever the hell they were)? Are the humans just going to up and leave them as they are? What did happen to the twins? Why were they calling Mirage "Dio" or some slag like that? Wherever did the big Decepticon battleship go?
If the Matrix has the power to bring back the dead, why aren't Jazz, Ironhide, and Wheeljack (Q) up and walking around? stressed
Plotholes? Plotholes?

Over all, I thought it was the best of the three. Make of that what you will, but I had fun with this movie (the obvious plotholes and lack of attention to certain details that I've simply come to expect from Bay and thus no longer bother bitching about aside).
The only thing I'm really gonna complain about is how uncessary Shockwaves appearance in the movie was. He shows up, doesn't even really kill anybody, just brings the mechanical kracken (and really, couldn't Soundwave or Starscream have done that?) to do all the dirty work (though really I actually liked the mechanical kracken...a lot), says one or two lines (in English anyway) and then gets killed by Optimus without even that big of a fight. What was the point of that?
Also, Starscream's death. Was that supposed to be funny? Because it was just lame. And a little sad. I actually felt rather bad for him for a moment there.
Hearing rumors of a 4th movie. How are they gonna do that after how this one ended?
Really, should have saved Shockwave for the next movie, if there really is a next movie.
Still best of the Live Action TF movies thus far.

Jazz was divided in half = no body to revive; Ironhide = disintegrated; Wheeljack = headless... I think they can only revive something that's still intacted. If you watch Transformers: Prime (the newest cartoon) it does a better way of explaining raising the dead smile *** I feel that Bay heard the fans and has done what is necessary in movie 3 to satisfy the fans and the non fans. I didn't care much about Megan Fox lol She's just another minor detail in a Transformers movie. As for the big snake thing, I say it was one of Shockwave's creations and I'm sure we'll find it in the Marvel comics some where if we dig hard enough. I feel that the 3D piece was a load of crap. And the movie needed to end quickly that's why the axing of certain bots (trying not to spoil here). I actually feel sad that this is Bay's last TF movie and it actually felt reasonable as compared to the other 2.

I loved how Starscream went out. He talks big, but in the end, he's just a whiny arrogant punk. Proving why he's perpetually second fiddle to Megatron.

Even though I haven't seen the movie yet I went ahead and read the spoilers from everyone's posts. I won't feel bad knowing because I think the plot and overall quality or writing of those movies have been disappointing. I still own the first 2 on DVD regardless.
One thing I heard from old school StarTrek fans is one of the lines spoken is from StarTrek and it's context is changed which many people hated. I don't know what the line is nor do I know a lot about old school Trek. But I think Michael Bay tries too hard to put in content instead of making the content amazing.. He makes some nice action scenes though, I'll definatly give him that!

Where did the twins and triplets go?
On another note, wouldn't any Transformers movie be the best drinking game ever? Drink to every explosion.
"Oh, another explosion. You know what that means."
At least it would seem like a good movie by the time you're done with it. gonk

And the context makes sense when you realize that the one speaking it is a racist and only referring to his own species when he says it.

I gave the film an approval rating of about 80%. It wasn't perfect, but it was truly nice. In a comic book adaptation, the large snake/worm was called a "Tunneller", a wild creature of Cybertron. The only one ever tamed was done so by Shockwave, hence his place in the film. Megan Fox didn't need an explanation out. The fallout against Bay and her was well-publicized. her being out didn't affect the film in any way other than a plot device opening. We lost the racist twins, and gained the minicons. In the end, I was okay with it. I felt Starscream's way out was just fine. he was blasted by the people he had the least respect for. The people he underestimated. meh. After a conversation in 4chan, I heard a lot of theories about a Transformers 4 . . . and came up with this idea. Brainstorming I can imagine the next step being to adopt what is arguably one of the more positively regarded series- beast wars. Autobots, stranded on Earth, toy with the idea of taking on organic modes. As a test, some take the research a bit too far as a group as infamous as the Wreckers arrives on the planet too late for the big battle with Megatron. the Dynobots loathe anything that doesn't have a strong presence and good fight to it, so they voulenteer for a risky proceedure and adopt organic-based modes. Thus, they choose something big, something strong, something bold. The Dinobots are introduced. Not to be left behind, the cons begin to break into cells, each adopting a new 'team' motief. One adopts the idea of animals as well, going for power and offense over presence. Led by Razorclaw, the predacons also learn to enjoy the day while a different cell takes on the insectoid view. Bombshell, Shrapnel, and Kickback begin a covert information gathering mission as the planet's most prolific lifeform's shape. They begin sending data on life and energy stores as the preds and dinos wage a war while the few remaining Autobots under Prime's command try to save the world from that new war. Insecticons reports send through space to a lone violet starship, It changes course after the transmission, and a fleet of blue and white ships follow behind it on the way to Earth.
