(( This is the follow-up thread from the Square. Andromeda the witch, Akumu (meister) and Yuki (weapon) are continuing into the Village of Kanoe [a woodsy town in the middle of the forest, notorious for awesome home-cooking and some evil souls. Maybe.], in search of Andy's parents))
Andy walks down the trail, waiting for the other two to follow.
'We should really eat some barbeque while we're down here. I'm starving,' she thinks while turning her Soul Protect on. 'Wonder if my parents are even here... Oh well. We'll find out sooner or later, won't we?'

Yuki walks following Andy,"I'm hungry..." she said as she walks. She looks around and continues walking. "Are we gonna eat? I'm sorry I'm just hungry..." she asked Andy. She hasn't ate anything when they started to find Andy at the Square.

Andy turns to Yuki and smirks, seeing the town in front of them. Her stomach begins to growl as well, since she too hadn't really eaten anything either that day.
"We could go for some... Not a bad idea. What do you think, Akumu?" she asks, setting her broom down by an oak tree.

 SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu shrugs and nods in agreement. He can smell the food and wouldn't mind trying some, but he can go for quite a while without needing food. When his parents had first died, the academy took him in, but he was stricken with grief still and refused to eat for days. Since then he has trained himself to not need to eat for long periods of time.
Though barbeque would be nice. He hasn't had a home-cooked meal since his mother last made some. These thoughts begin to bring up painful memories and he looks at the ground sadly.

Yuki looks at Akumu and sees his faces down, she walked to him,"Hey what's wrong? Something happen...?" she asked him curious. As she looks at his face, she could tell he's remembering painful memories. She smiled at him,"Hey cheer up Akumu." she told him.

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu barely looks up at her. Too sad now to really respond properly.
"Sorry, but I'm just a little down. Painful memories."
He says flatly but with a hint of sadness. He gets flashbacks of memories with his parents. How happy they were with his music. How they all became so glad, when they discovered his mother was pregnant with his sibling. How grief stricken and horrified he was coming home to the bloodbath of his family at their home.
Tears almost begin welling up in his eyes. He tries to keep them back and keep them from seeing them. He knows that Luna can feel his soul though, and will know his sadness.

"Hey, you're not the only one with painful memories..." she told him. Seeing him sad made her remember some of her memories. "Come on, Akumu...please? I'm gonna help you find that witch like you're gonna help me find my father...don't worry...let's go please?" she told him as she feels his sadness. As she feels his sadness she gave him a hug.

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu hugs her back, feeling the tears start to well up. He can feel her pain as well through their linked souls. Two saddened souls, united wavelengths of painful memories.
He nods in response to her, but can't help himself...
A single tear drops from his eye.

She stands up and helps him up. "Let's go I can hear my stomach growling for food hehe. Don't wanna let the food wait hehe." she said giggling. She helds her hand out for his and smiles.

Akumu looks up at her and smiles. He wipes away the one tear and takes her hand, standing up.
He may be sad now from the memories...
But with Luna as his partner he should be fine.
He thinks with a grin.

Andy looks back, seeing them hug, grin, and take each others hand.
'I can only guess his sorrow and what has caused it. I hope it was not the same as mine. But only those two know. If they feel ready to tell me, I'll listen. Until then, I shouldn't be nosy. I wish I could have a bond that only two can share. I never grew up with siblings. I was always a loner. Even when it came to my early days of the search, anyone I trusted betrayed me. Oh, if I could experience that again! But that's just a lost cause waiting to be broken. Again. Like it always will.'
She smiles to herself sadly and turns back around, remembering the image of Akumu and Yuki. 'If only I could have that...'

Yuki smiles and turns back to were the village is at. "So let's get us some food!" she said as her stomach growls more. She started laughing when her stomach growl, even if she's sad she could make herself happy and cheerful no matter what happens. She continues to walk to the village.

SWINGING DOWN THIS SCYTHE.....
Akumu grins as well and begins following Luna, when he notices Andy's wavelength. Her Soul Protect isn't that helpful anymore at this range and with his ability.
She appears sad. She must be having her own painful memories.
Memories... They unite all of us.
He takes Luna's hand and brings them both over to Andy.
He grins and hugs Andy from behind her. He nods at Yuki to do the same.
"Are you alright?"
He asks Andy with gentle words. The first nice toned words he has said to her.

Andy feels something wrap around her into a big hug. She glances back to see Akumu and Yuki. She smiles back and nods.
"I'm okay. I just had some flashbacks when I was younger," she replies gently to Akumu, still somewhat taken aback by his sudden kindness. She turns to Yuki and smiles, "I'm just as hungry as you are." Just then, she saw building of logs surrounding the entrance. "Speaking of which, let's eat!" she chuckles. Did she really find friends?
As they continue towards the village, she looks back at Akumu. 'Thanks. I really needed it,' she telepathicly sends him, smirking.

Yuki smiles and nods,"Okay then let's find some food hehe." She follows as they continue. "Are we there or almost..." she said spacing out again looking around. She's been spacing out alot lately.
