Camp Larkspur was in the midst of chaos. Out in the center of camp, around where the too shed used to stand, was the shattered remains of an energy storing crystal. Around it were senshi, Negaverse agents, and knights; all of them were locked in battle. The noise of all the action stirred campers and counselors alike from their slumber. Many were afraid to leave their safe area and see just what was going on. Those that were brave came out to investigate just what was going on; older campers and counselors had come out of their cabins. What they saw was a mess. Just then, there was odd rumble. The earth seemed to tremble and a small wave flooded the shoreline along the lake. Enough water washed ashore to pool at the feet of those senshi in battle. The earth below theme became slick and muddy. A hand crawled up out of the water. Then a head, followed by another set of hands… and another… Creatures were dragging themselves onto shore. They were oddly youma like, but did not register as being distinctly evil or good. They were slightly larger then the average human, and appeared to be covered in seaweed and scales. They were swamp creatures, and looked like something straight out of a bad monster movie. But they were fast, and were quickly rushing to the middle of the battle. Everything in their path was clawed and ripped at. These things, these woken up Swamp Things, that had been seemingly created out of nothing, had come to life with thanks to the stolen energy. And boy were they pissed. Quote: There are 3 of these creatures in total. They have been created from a massive amount of energy and as a result are very strong. They have names! There’s Sog, Bog, and Zog! You can attack any of them. Negaversers may attempt to the defend these creatures… but there is no guarantee that they will appreciate it. Each Swamp Thing has an HP of ????
Please BOLD the name of the swamp thing you are attacking.

Valhalla thought they would get a bit of a break once the crystal had shattered, but how wrong he was... Instead, there were now monsters crawling out of the water and heading towards them. Well, great! That's just what he wanted! Not...
"Keep on your guard, everyone!" he called to the others, especially Babylon, Maenalus, and Ganymede, since he'd been working with them on getting into the tool shed and destroying the crystal. He had his bat raised in defense, ready to attack the first monster that came his way. "We should try and take them out, one at a time," he said to the other three, and whoever else was over hearing. "Then we'll only have to worry about two attacking us while we work on the next one."
It seemed logical enough to him, but who knew what the others were thinking. Take out the weakest one, and then not worry about them trying to attack as the others were taken out.
Valhalla paused for just a moment longer, before running towards Zog, swinging his bat at the creature's scaled and alge covered face.

Perseus had been sliced and stabbed. Had her energy stolen and had been jostled, bunch, bruised by a door and was tired of everything. And now...well now there were swamp monsters. Seriously, swamp monsters? Was all of Destiny and the surrounding area a breeding ground for the weird and sinister monsters? Could anything ever just be normal for once?
The weirdness, while she was resigned to it, was still getting old. All of the energy that had been granted back by the crystals had now been depleted, both by her use of magic and by the weary inducing wounds that had already stained her fuku a dark red. Thankfully it hadn't been too much blood, and nothing had been too deep. But it was enough to hurt quite a bit.
Struggling across the field, she sought a familiar face, any familiar face. Eventually, she made her way over to Ixion, picking up a rock and chucking it at Sog as hard as she could, more of a anger release than an actual attack. She would attack after breathing a bit more. "Are you alright?"

Ganymede had ducked out of the way as soon as the crystal was broken. He didn't very much feel like taking any shards to the face, and he'd been wary about what all that energy would do once released.
Create some sort of swamp monsters, apparently. And he'd been having such a nice time walking around that very lake earlier.
"Do these things never end?" he wondered, exasperated. He still clutched the baseball bat in his hands, and he didn't intend to let go of it any time soon. It had been highly useful so far. He thought he should start carrying one of these around more often. When magic failed or proved useless, a good swing to the face seemed a logical next step.
He followed Valhalla, intent on sticking to his plan. It made sense to him, though there was so much shouting and talking go on he wouldn't be surprised if some of the others hadn't heard. So long as there was some sort of organization to this effort, he figured they could end it quickly enough.
Hopefully...
Raising the bat above him, Ganymede brought the make-shift weapon down onto Zog's head.
And completely failed at hitting it dead on, it seemed. He should probably practice his aim...

Niflhel watched the energy bounced this way and that. His brows furrowed when it finally sank in the lake. Ohhh that wasn't good. The senshi seemed happy for a moment until.... oh holy hell.
His brows furrowed looking for the kids and Polaris, he'd lost them in the fight. Now there were swamp monsters crawling out of the lake. OHHHH this was lovely, very, very lovely. He was standing there chain in hand ready to smack, he ran towards Sog before lashing out with his chains. "Eat metal monster."

Maenalus quickly grabbed onto Draconis' hand and pulled her to her feet. "Good job. Now let's go!" She pulled the senshi along with her and followed after Valhalla. For whatever reason, he seemed to be a good leader and she was a pretty good follower.
She ran to attack Zog, but Bog was making its way towrads Ganymede and Valhalla, so she swung her bat into its gut. That oughta stop it. She got it pretty good, so she decided to swing again, but the monster deflected and the brunt of her hit grazed off.
Gosh, she hated monsters. She just wished this could be over with already. It was like some terrible cliche summer camp movie. Except there was the actual threat of life and death.

Zirconia stood in her 'ferocious beast' pose yet again, her little ego still on the rise combined with the weird energy of the place thanks to that crystal shattering.
She finally gave in to her original notion and skittered over to the Vallhalla, Babylon, Maenalus, and Ganymede group, or at least the general vicinity each of them happened to be, and started making a weird round to weaving around all their feet to let them know she was there, even if she hadn't previously met Maenalus or Ganymede, or that they weren't exactly standing in a close circle.
After her mandatory strutting, which had the only purpose of communicating 'Hi guys. Hi. Hi. I'm here now guys. Hi.', she turned her attention to Zog and fired an energy blast at him, figuring she felt energized enough to at least do that and not collapse from exhaustion like usual.

*********> could never have predicted the outcome of destroying the crystal that had all of that energy stored in it. She would have honestly anticipated the energy to go back to their original owners. Apparently, there was no return to sender and the energy had relocated itself into three different vessels.
There was one thing that seemed off about the vessels. They weren't youma. The guardian would have easily been able to figure out if they were creatures from the Negaverse, and these monsters were not registering as something distinctly from the Negaverse. Where as the feline had suspicions as to the origins of these three distinct creatures, now was not the time to dwell on it.
Now was the time to prevent these creatures from causing any problems.
Rather than rely on her Special Surprise, the cat decided to try a different tactic at the moment. She was feeling strangely revitalized, but at the same time, she shouldn't waste it so early on. With that, the manx dashed towards Bog, claws extended. When she got close enough to the creature, she began to unleash a series of Fury Swipes.

Lt. Zippeite felt devastated when the crystal shattered. He had done his best, he had to tell himself, but man, they were just outnumbered. And suddenly the flood and the swamp creatures.
For a second he just had to stand there looking dumbfounded with his jaw dropped. First aliens exist, and now swamp creatures? Or was that an accidental byproduct? Oops.
Either way, it was jarring. But he managed to shake himself out of it enough to summon his weapon back. Giving it a sharp flick to extend the blade to full length, he set his sights on Bog and darted ahead to whack at his... it's... the thing's head. Why? Because it looked freaking scary, and right now he kind of just wanted to stay alive. These weren't really allies, were they?

“You have got to be kidding.” The words were half-mumbled as Athene caught sight of just what was crawling out of the lake. The creatures looked like something out of some kind of ‘swamp monster’ film. What with talking cats, discovering he was supposedly some kind of superhero things, exploding crystals and now swamp monsters, Athene was seriously starting to wonder whether things could get any weirder . Privately, he personally hoped not as he had a sneaky feeling that his personal ‘weirded-out’ meter was probably full.
Biting his lip slightly as he tried to figure out the best course of action, Athene eventually settled for trying to chuck a rock at the nearest monster, which happened to be Bog

Valhalla blinked when he saw a familiar beam of energy being shot at a monster (although he guessed it could have come from any magical cat that was apparently wandering around), turning to see where Zirconia was. "Need a lift?" he asked as he stepped away from the monster as the others attacked it, making a small nod to his shoulder. "If you think you can fit, at least," he added a bit warily. She was a rather large cat, after all. But he wouldn't mind keeping her close so he could keep an eye on her.
"I know, right?" he called over to Athene, not having heard his comment, but the expression on his face said it all. "Here, you might need this more than I do," he said, offering the younger boy the bat he'd been using to hit the crystal and monster with. Athene was about Paris's height, but he couldn't tell how old he was... anywhere between thirteen and sixteen was his guess.

The Negaverse Captain was just not having a great day. First the fight hadn't gone as well as she would have liked, though she was mostly sporting bumps and bruises, and now her precious crystal had been shattered and all their hard done work was gone.
It was like someone had come into her dorm room and deleted her very last final after weeks of working on it.
She growled, fully ready to retaliate against the senshi for their misdeeds, but the arrival of the swamp monsters stopped her. She knew immediately that they were no Youma, and were attacking both Senshi and Nega indiscriminately.
She saw Zippetite fighting with Bog and ran to aid him instead, hurling her javelin at the strange looking monster. Her arm was getting tired from all the attacking, and she would have to keep her javelin close to her and stick to stabbing and hand to hand, to spare her shoulder from more strain.
