Atsureki Hyuuga Eyes of the Crimson Dawn
Born in Sunagakure, Atsureki never saw first-hand the destruction caused by the bijuu, but his parents told him of the havoc they wreaked on the shinobi world, and how it had been at the hands of a jinchuuriki that his elder brother had died. Soon after graduating from the academy, Atsureki met Haseo Shimizu and they quickly became friends. However, as they were training one day, Haseo lost control of the bijuu which had lain dormant inside him, and in a fit of rage and sorrow, Atsureki attempted to kill him. Before he was able to land a killing blow, the Kage of the village arrived and stopped him, revealing his nature as a jinchuuriki in the process. Disgusted by the shinobi world's insistence on using the bijuu as weapons, Atsureki fled Sunagakure, hoping to reach the land of fire and eventually Konoha in hopes of reaching his family there.
As he trekked across the desert however, Atsureki was met by Sai Konaga, and after speaking with him, Atsureki was convinced that Sai could help him rid the world of the bijuu, once and for all. Taking him under his wing, Sai brought Atsureki to the hidden base of Akatsuki where he began to train with the help of Sai.

Shrouded in Secret The Birth of Hubris
For three years, Atsureki trained in the bowels of the mountain the Akatsuki called home, waiting for his opportunity to lash out at the villages and capture the Bijuu. Three years spent in near constant seclusion, his only companions being the reclusive Sai, Zenko, always close on the man's heels, and Jouji, whose company was far from comforting to the young Hyuuga. As the years wore on and his skills improved, Atsureki began to see himself as Sai's secret weapon, waiting to be revealed by his master. Why else would the man have taken him under his wing? Why else would he keep him hidden away? These were the questions the young Hyuuga asked himself daily, fueling his pride.
Finally the day came however, when the proud young Hyuuga began to question his own reasoning. Had he not grown stronger? Was he not ready for the challenges of the outside world? Why did his master continue to keep him in the dark confines of the mountain? And so, Atsureki's pride began to fuel his anger at his Master, at the Bijuu, and at World. Who were they but worms beneath his feet, meant only for him to crush under his heel as he took his place above them. But even he knew that he was still in no place to oppose his Master, and so he waited. Biding his time until he could prove to the world just how weak they really were.
