 Fenja was feeling very excited today. She’d managed to find the mermaid pride she’d been hearing so much about and even talked to one of its members. While she hadn’t made a final decision on the matter of settling down just yet, the eternal rogue had liked what she’d heard and one of the pride’s ranks had looked like the perfect fit for her. So she was happy, bubbly even as she jumped into the first large body of water she found. Spooked, a small herd of zebras and gazelles left the edge of the water for a few moments only to return upon realizing the bright predator looked anything but harmful. When Fenja showed them little more graceful swimming and silly giggle fits, the animals decided it was safe to ignore the lioness and promptly returned to what they had been doing before.

What was that?
Poking her head below she looked towards the watering hole that sat on the ground beneath, surrounded by critters and birdies and....ooooooooooo! White! White color-y thing! Blinking her multicolored eyes curiously she soon dropped from the clouds, wings fluttering as she got closer to the ground and landed just near the water. The animals scampering fearfully at another feline, a very ODD feline, being here aswell and stayed their distance to watch carefully.
Buni however, was more curious of the other female. A mortal yes, but she was a girl like her! Large wings sitting against her sides, she tilted her head before inching closer. And closer. And closer to the edge of the water, body slightly curled up like a cub's, like she was trying to look much smaller than she was...as if that would hide her, before watching the mortal with a small smile.
She looked fun! And looked like she was having fun too! Blowing her floppy fringe out of her way she smiled and placed her paws in the shallow pool.
"Hello!"

Fenja laughed when the herd suddenly left in a hurry and didn’t return this time. Silly things, she was just having some fun, how could they possibly mistake her for a threat. Not very clever, were th- Oh!
The bright girl threw her head back at the sound of the cheerful voice, a white curtain of long hairs spraying water in several locations.
“Oh… Oh! Hello!” So far, Fenja had only encountered some rather solemn Gods especially the Goddess of Oaths who seemed very serious about her work and the God of Apathy who was his work. She’d never seen a God (or Goddess) that looked quite as happy as this one. That explained the herd’s sudden disappearance... Fenja swam closer to the shore, watching the purple lioness’ wings intently. “Were you flying just now?”

Smiling as the other's attention was caught, the tuft of her tail bubbled happily, soft spheres of color briefly lofting in the path of the air the tail had just been as it batted madly to itself in childlike glee, before disapearing with a soft series of pops. The tuft meanwhile varying in its colors for a few moments before it finally settled on a bright gold.
As she edged closer to the shore herself, she sat her rump down as a cub might, hind paws sat up on their ankles so she could wiggle her toes and her forepaws sat right between them as she was affixed with this interesting lioness! She was so bright and had so many colors on her at the same time as being nearly completely white! She liked it! A lot!
"I was! I was!" The goddess chirped happily, tail back to its high sped metronome of ecstatic happiness once more as she watched the other paddling in the water before her.
"I was cloud swimming, it's very very fun! A bit like water swimming, just up in the sky so it's very good if you have wings!"
Smiling, her chromatic eyes wandered over the other before she tilted her head softly, fluffy forelock loping to one side as she watched her and flipped her ears forward.
"I'm Buni! It's nice to meet you! You have really pretty colors! They look like my necklace and my eyes, only they're on your fur!"

“You’re a Goddess! Oooh…” Fenja said excitedly, easily infected by the other’s mood, watching the strange little show with a wide smile. “I’m Fenja. Thank you! You have rainbow eyes, so pretty!” In fact, everything about the lioness was pretty and interesting! Purple striped coat, eyes, strange colorful effects, wings (it went without saying, really) and even her personality appeared to be rather exciting. Oh, and “cloud swimming”? So cool.
The bright lioness slowly made her way to the shore and shook most of the water off her coat with a quick shake before speaking again.
“It must be such a nice view. I wish I could fly! Are you here on work?” this last part was her way of politely enquiring about a God’s domain. “What are you the God of” seemed like such a rude thing to say, really.

As the other shook herself dry, there was a soft giggle that escaped the goddess as the water flew everywhere and she took great show in the sprits and spray of it all, the small arcs of color from the water that hit the sunlight making her squeak in delighht like a cub with its mother's tail. Her own blitzing with bright colors and odd noises like pops and whistles itself before it settled to the usual sapphire blue it had started with.
"Thank you, Fenja!" She said with a bright smile before the question made the Goddess blink her eyes curiously. Her job? Blinking again she looked over the other and smiled again, she looked like she was very imaginative! Maybe this was part of her job!
"Have you been very imaginative? If so then yes!"

Fenja laughed quietly at the other lioness’ reaction to her shake because she found it simply impossible not to laugh when Buni did.
“I-ma-gi-na-ti-ve…?” She said slowly, tilting her head to the side as she separated each syllable. Not that it made any it any easier to understand but it did give her a couple of seconds to formulate a guess regarding Buni’s domain. “Are you Goddess of Thoughts? Can you read my mind?” Fenja asked excitedly, moving a little closer. No, wait… maybe it was something related to the way she acted.
“Goddess of Happiness? Excitement? Illusions?” Mmm… only the last one actually made sense if Fenja took Buni’s last question into consideration. But it was so much fun to guess she couldn't saying everything that came to mind!

Could she read minds? Peering at Fenja's head she raised her paws and rubbed at her fuzzy temples quietly, as if trying to rouse them into their mind reading ways...but ofcourse that didn't happen because she couldn't read minds. Meh. It was worth the shot. And it would've been fun if she could in the end!
When that failed, she shrugged and smiled with a soft shake of her head.
"Nope!" She perked whilst watching her trying to think up what else Buni could possibly be. It was fun watching a mind in action, especially when it was being creative and imaginative. It was like watching little lights pop in an enclosed space.
Happiness and Illusions?
Buni shook her head again and rolled onto her back so she could watch Fenja upside down.
"Kind of, but still nuh uh!" The perky goddess replied with a smile. "D'ya give up?"

Fenja smiled when the Goddess appeared to be trying to read her mind and all her thoughts vanished to give way to one single phrase: Can you read my mind? Can you read my mind? Can you… She chuckled when the purple goddess admitted she couldn’t do it.
“One more try, one more try!” Fenja said excitedly, lowering her body to match the goddess’ current height. Staring into Buni’s colorful eyes – like hers only much more vivid – the bright lioness carefully considered the clues she had. Close but not close enough… something related to happiness and excitement…
“You’re the… Goddess of Fun?” Fenja asked tentatively, suddenly wondering if perhaps “Youth” wouldn’t have been a better guess.

Giggling away as she watched the other, wings batting against the ground briefly as her tail lopped from one side to the other whilst awaiting the mortal's guess with baited breath and let out a soft snorting laugh as the other guessed wrong. Shaking her head she finally slid back onto her rump and continued her bright little smile.
"Nope! My realm is fun though, I'm Imagination!" She piped all too happily to herself, practically beaming with pride over her domain. She loved imagining and imagination and being imaginative and all that good stuff! It was a lot of fun and she wondered if the Goddess or God of fun had just as much fun as she did?
They must have!
Tail wagging away like some hyperactive dog pup, she watched the white and rainbow tinted female as her paws settled happily on the ground.
"So what'cha doin' in the water hole? You swimming?"

“Imagination!” Fenja exclaimed with a smile. That was such an interesting… “realm”, she’d called it? There really was a God (Goddess in this case) of everything!
“I was! I love swimming. And fishing, I like fish. The water’s really nice, too. Do you like swimming? In the water I mean.” Not cloud swimming, no, Fenja thought with a small degree of envy. What she would give just for a change to fly like the winged lions she’d met. “Oh, I wish I could fly. I wonder what it feels likes like. It must be so nice!”
She looked up at the sky, watching the clouds briefly.
“What does it feel like?” she asked, her gaze returning to Buni’s multicolored eyes.

Giggling she nodded before the conversation turned to swimming, the Goddess's paws splashing playfully in the shallows of the hole before she looked back to Fenja with that ever present smile on her features. Paws damp and looking all too happy with herself for this minature achievement.
"I love swimming! It's very cooling and I get to splash other lions and stuff...though some get real grumpy when I do." Ending with a small pout. Some mortals and Gods were sooooooooooo grumpy! Some snarled at her, some told her off, some even tried to hit her sometimes when she did a really big splash. But she often was too fast for them, or they got confused by her demeanor and just left her to her giggling.
When it turned to flying, Buni blinked and glanced briefly at the sky for a moment or two. How to explain flying? Rubbing her chin with a wet paw she looked back to Fenja and smiled.
"It's a lot like swimming! Only not so wet and much faster...like you're being pulled up and held up by the air, like when you're a tiny little cub and your momma holds you by your neck, only there's no holding!"

“Grumpies are no fun.” Fenja laughed with the goddess, tail dancing behind her playfully.
She considered what Buni said about flying carefully, head turning up again to the clouds with a look of longing. It was something she’d never be able to experience in her lifetime.
“Do you like being around mortals?” she asked suddenly, with a little more excitement. It was easy to feel comfortable around Buni so asking questions that might be considered personal was particularly easy in this case. She barely even considering the possibility that Buni might not wish to answer the question or linger in the area. She seemed so happy and flighty in a way that Fenja was afraid she’d leave too quickly. “Do you have any special powers?”

Watching Fenja, the Goddess gave a soft smile, resting her paws on her cheeks as she briefly floated above the ground with just the tiniest flutter of her wings whilst she was asked questions about herself. She loved to answer questions! Mostly because mortal's asked the most interesting of questions and were the most interesting to be around.
At the first, the bubbly little female gave a jostling nod, floppy forelock bouncing all over the place as she continued to float whilst using her paws to pronounce most of her speech.
"Mhm! Mortals have the best imagination and the most creativity, Gods can be SOOOOOOOO boring at times! Except the God of Awesome I met once, he had rainbows for wings, but then again, we can have a lot of things for wings...I heard one of us has fish for wings!" The last part, she leant in and whipsered, like it was supposed to be some big secret held only between close friends and then she snickered softly.
Powers?
Ooo! Oo, she loved this part! Clapping her paws she flumped her rear onto the ground, setting one paw on it before she pulled it up. Whilst doing so, it seemed to pull something up with it, green and stretchy before it snapped back with a an audible 'boing!' and wriggled slightly where it stood. About a foot in length between the pair of them was a tiny green giraffe, instead of nubs it had large orange antlers on its head and on the tip of each was a hanging fruit. Bananas, oranges, apples, mangos, every type of fruit you could possibly imagine.
It stood there, rather proud of itself for a few moments or so, before poofing into the ether much to Buni's disapointment.
"I can't make them last very long, if I'd made him full size, he'd have been like a blip!"
