It seemed like Ridge was always on the go. He always had a slow pace, but he was on the go. He didn't have a purpose for travel other than learning. He was traveling from the sea back to his homeland - the snowy mountains - when he decided to stop somewhere in between, by a river to rest and freshen up. It was hot down here, and he was eager to return to his cool homeland to visit his friends and his family. Today was one of those hot and sticky days, the kind where the smallest breeze would offer so much relief from the heat.
Ridge sat by the river, trying to cool down, tempted to just shove his face in the water, as he waited for the day to get cooler.
