History|| Growing up on an Indian reservation, Ophelia has always held an interest in her heritage. She enjoyed many long conversations with her grandfather and the other elders on the reservation. Her first experience with shifting was a result of heated emotions. Anger is often the source of her transfigurations. It was her idea to head off to a school to learn to control her shifting abilities. Her father and, especially her grandfather, wanted her to remain on the reservation, but she left, against their wishes.

History|| Elijah grew up in England as an only child. When, at a young age, strange events began occurring, his parents were more than a bit freaked out. Upon discovering his abilities, his parents sent him away to a school to control them. His parents were, for the most part, accepting of him. Others, however, weren't so accepting. Finding himself ridiculed by others, Elijah kept his powers a secret at first. Now, though, he enjoys his abilities, viewing them as a gift. His emotions still tend to flare when others mock him for what he is.
