Moure was out on a jog (It would look like a run to anyone else, but he really was jogging...), something he was often doing now that he had the spare time. The patchwork Runner followed whatever path he was on, letting it take him wherever it led to. It was nice to just go out for a jog sometimes, right?
Of course, the last time he'd done that, he'd run into a Sloth demon and gotten an Errand out of the conversation...
Anyway, the patchwork Runner continued on his jog, pushing the matters of the day to the back of his mind. After all, it's not like he was going to be taking an exam any time soon. Why they'd let him enroll right before the school year rolled over was beyond him.
In any case, the patchwork just continued to jog along one of the school's many pathways.

Lounging out in the grass near one of the forested areas was a stripey monster boil watching the leaves rustling in the normally deadish trees. They were a lot more full this time of year just after spring. Bul was kind of a nature person if it suited him well. The heat and dry air was nice but when things got rainy that was uncomfortable for sure. The sky threatened nothing but warmth today with a rare cool breeze so it was his chance to sit out and be lazy after the past few weeks of hard work.
When a figure came running up one of the paths nearby he sat up and inclined his head. He'd never seen this student before but he had some serious legs.. something the boil could relate to. As he ran by, Bul pushed himself up and brought himself to a run too catching up to the new face.
"Hope you don't mind me joining you, you just gave me the greatest urge to go running around heh.." Bul laughed between breaths. Running with partners was enjoyable if they could keep up.. Bul didn't think this would be an issue here.

Moure was following the path when he heard a sound of running feet, a sound very familar to the patchwork. He hadn't heard it much around since he'd come to the Academy though, so Moure found himself turning a bit to see who was coming up behind him. A red-striped lizard-like boil was quickly coming up.
Was this coming boil a runner too? Then the newcomer spoke, and Moure nodded. Seems this was another person who liked running. "Of course not. I don't mind at all, actually." Moure gave the other boil a slight grin, "Happy to get someone else up and running..." The Runner nodded again, enjoying being able to just go out and take a jog, especially if it was getting others out and running.
After all, running was one of Moure's favorite past-times.
After a moment, Moure thought he should probably introduce himself. "Name's Moure, by the way..." He paused, then added, "I'm new, in case that wasn't clear." He gave a nod to the other boil, "Are there many other runners at this school? I know there's supposed to be a track team around here somewhere, but..." Moure trailed off, raising an eyebrow at this lizard-tailed boil. Perhaps he could tell him. (After all, this boil was the first person he'd seen running at the Academy so far, besides himself, of course.)

"Happy yo get off my own butt, I'll say.." Bul smirked. Laxy was nice but a nap was even better after a run. Trees whipped past them and the looming brickwork of the school created a neat pattern of shade over the pathways that wound around it.
"Unstabul. Bul for short, nice to meet you Moure," the monster replied giving a nod. "I figured as much since I haven't seen you around. It's been crazy with classes lately though so that could have something to do with it." His toes made a clicking noise any time they were running on paved surface- it was clear he never wore shoes by how tough the skin on his feet was.
"Yah actually I think Tracks been running now for a couple months. I never joined up, I'm a little more recreational than that." Though it was a club he held a bit of interest in. "Course I don't know who runs it... heh.." Bul caught his own puns just now. "There is fitness club though, I figure any one of us could be considered runners, eh?"

Moure gave another nod in response to the monster's introduction. "Nice to meet you Bul." Moure looked around at the buildings they were passing and the trees too. It was actually a pretty calm place once you got out to these parts of the school. As the monster commented about the patchwork being new, Moure thought of another question to ask the more seasoned student. "Do new students show up often, and at such strange times in the school year?" Moure was wondering, since he personally thought that getting enrolled right when the rest of the student body were taking exams was a little...on the strange side. (Not that Moure was complaining about being enrolled so soon. Anything that got him out of his home life was fine by him.)
"I see. I didn't notice a Track booth up at the Open House, so was wasn't sure." He gave another slight nod and grin at the other runner's pun. Heh, running jokes. "I've kind of heard of the Fitness Club. I didn't get around to it during the Open House..." He trailed off, then continued. "I figure you're a member of it, though? What usually goes on in there?" After all, if it involved running and sports and being, well, fit, Moure would have to check it out sometime.

"It's nothing too out of the ordinary. They come and go really." Bul replied turning his head. "Although it's very close to the end of the semester right now." He didn't come off as concerned though, since students were very self paced. "To be honest with you there's still a lot of students pouring in these past few weeks."
Bul didn't recall a track booth either but then again a lot of clubs didn't show up in the open house hall. "You've got that right," he winked and looked to the ground for a moment to think. His panting was quiet, he had pretty good endurance though he'd been feeling pretty sore after his beat down with West.
"Well apart from sneaking in the after hours to fight.." he laughed and shook his head. "No no, I kid but.. we recently had a huge paintball match. It's all about games and working hard but we got tons of treadmills and ellipticals and stuff so if you wanted to do some conditioning I think you'd like it."
The leaves on the trail blew around past their feet and made a scattered pattern behind them. "Maybe I can bring you in as a guest sometime, I don't think Riley will mind much."

"Ahh, I see." Moure said with a nod. This did make sense to the patchwork. At the comment about a lot of other students coming in recently, Moure gave another nod. "Actually, I've noticed that a bit, just from talking to others and then finding out that they're new too." After all, Danny and Roch had enrolled around the same time he had, it seemed.
Moure looked over at the lizard-like boil for a moment as the other student winked. "I see." He gave the striped boil a slight grin. The Runner could run forever (He'd have to test that sometime, actually...), well, at least until he was so exhausted he collapsed, but he was fine for now. However, he didn't want to cause the other boil to burn out. He'd have to make sure Bul was alright in a bit, maybe?
Then the other student was joking about sneaking in, and then mentioned something that sounded very, very interesting. "A huge paintball match?" Moure's eyebrows raised slightly in surprise. "Ahh, I wish I'd enrolled eariler, now that I knew such awesome stuff was going on. That sounds so intense..." He grinned a bit, then nodded and spoke again. "Sounds like you guys have everything you could need there." In all actually, it sounded amazing.
"Really?" Moure asked, a bit surprised by the kind offer from the boil. He wasn't really used to how nice everyone was here. "That sounds great, actually...so, is Riley the Club's President or something?" He'd yet to meet this Riley character, but she sounded like an interesting person...?

"You can totes join anytime too, or at least I'm pretty sure. So if you visit with me sometime you might get added on the spot." Bul nodded his head. "Yea Riley is president if you haven't met her yet you will. I almost guarantee it."
"So yea what all do you do? Besides jogging of course. You taken any classes yet?" Bul didn't realize that Moure REALLY meant it that he was brand new. "Met any of the staff? I would be very careful who you take classes with around here.." Sex Ed was his most recent venture and he already was scared to get any injuries mandating Cricket's help.
"Are you gonna go to prom? Since its pretty much open to anyone."

"Really? I'll have to look into it." He gave a nod. "Or just go with you sometime and get added that way..." Moure gave a shrug and a slight grin, then paused to listen as Bul explained who Riley was in relation to the club. "Ahh, I see. I haven't met her, actually. You'd guarantee I'll meet her sometime? Is she out-and-about a lot or something?"
"Me?" Moure paused, looking over at Bul again for a moment. "Actually, I'm a Runner, like the sub-type of Patchwork. So, I was literally built for Running Errands and what not." He nodded, then realized the lizardy boil had probably meant what did Moure do for fun. "Oh, and, uh, in my spare time I like playing Scario Kart, and I guess Running Errands. And racing..." Mmmm, racing. At the question about classes, Moure shook his head. "I haven't gotten around to taking any yet. I seriously just got here a few days ago..." He said with a bit of a chuckle. "I'll be sure to watch who's classes I attend, then."
At the prom question, Moure nodded. "I am, I guess. My friend Danny needs an Escort, so I'm going with her." That was literally why he was going. Moure didn't particularly care to go, but the fire demoness had needed a date, so...

"Let's just say Riley is invested in the school more than any student I know," Bul complimented. "She' doesn't run like.. that many things but she is involved with lots." Although he was well trained endurance wise, the half beast was definitely feeling the burn. What he wouldn't give for a swig of water then.
The idea of being built for anything was both foreign and intriguing to Bul. His ghoulfriend wasn't a patchwork but she did have a creator that wasn't necessarily biologically related like Bul was. "I always wondered what it was like to be a patchwork.. my ghoulfriend is a living doll so its.. uh different but kinda.. I dunno," he shrugged. He could be heard having a hard time talking and breathing at the same time now.
"Oohh Scario Kart like on the uh.. that Nintendead thing right? I only have a scarestation but I know what you're talking about. I haven't met a Danny yet is she new too?"
Looking around the area Bul contemplated stopping to go in campus but there had to be one up the trail a ways. "Hey if you see a water fountain let's take a breather I'm parched."

"I see." He gave a nod. "I'll have to meet her sometime then." Moure looked over, realizing he had let the lizard-like boil run for too long, it seemed. He'd have to find him a place to rest, or something. (It would have been really handy to know the paths right around now.)
Moure listened as Bul explained his ghoulfriend. A Living Doll...hmm, sounded like an interesting concept. At the other boil's somewhat ragged statement, Moure said, "A living Doll? Was she made to be like a better version of a doll, or something?" He asked, although he regretted making Bul speak any more. Moure then continued with his own statements. "It's not all that different, I'd assume. The whole being a Patchwork thing, I mean. Some are built just to be like children to their creator's...but, ahh, I was not that type of patchwork. I was just built with an actual purpose already in mind... Which is why I can just keep running, in case you hadn't noticed..." Moure listened as the boil panted, looking around to see if there was anywhere he could have the boil sit down. He didn't want to exaust the other, after all.
At the lizard-like boil's explaination, Moure nodded. "Indeed it is. It's one of my favorite past-times when I'm not running Errands." He gave a nod. "And yeah, Danny was enrolled around the same time I was. She's a Fire Demon."
"Of course." Moure nodded, a little concerned for the other student. After a moment, Moure thought he saw something that looked a little like a bench and water fountain in the distance. "I'll be right back, I think I've found one." The Runner stepped up his speed a little, and ran a littler further ahead, confirming he had in fact found a water fountain. A few moments later, the Runner was back and he nodded at Bul, returning to the place at the lizard-like boil's side. "There's one right up ahead. Can you make it?" He pointed at the rest area further down the path, looking at Bul with some concern. In all actuality, it was times like this that made Moure happy that he could run and run and run without needing too much of a break, even though he usually had major crash-and-burns because of it later...

"I actually don't know, I'm not sure how I should inquire either.." Bul didn't know how awkward it would be to ask but from the sound of it Mei was pretty close with her father anyway. "Heh rather have a purpose than none right?" Of course he meant that in a more overall way but..
"I bet getting injuries is hella lot easier to get over as a patchwork eh? If I break my leg I am royally ********," he laughed and actually triggered a cough from the lack of oxygen.
"A fire demon eh?" Bul liked her already. Fire demons HAD to generate all sorts of warmth and the cold blooded boil knew he'd be happy to hang around her, despite the odd visuals this implied. "Oh yea?" Bul paused to get his breath and let Moure run up ahead. Even the smallest break helped but conditioning was for the hardcore. At least in Bul's mind.
Looking up happily he smiled. "Yea man actually, I can make it!" The knowledge of it being ahead was enough to get him there. Picking up his feet he trotted down the ways with Moure before stopping and leaning on the fountain gulping down as much as he could. "Mmn. Perfect.. feels good man."
From the redness in his face it was safe to say he'd probably be taking a permanent break after this pit stop.

"Ah yeah, I suppose that could be a tad awkward, considering she's your ghoulfriend and all." Moure nodded, listening to the lizard-like-boil explain. At Bul's second statement, Moure gave another laugh and a nod. "Indeed. I'd rather have Errands to run than nothing to do, after all." If there had been a second meaning to the other boil's statement, Moure didn't catch it.
Moure gave a nod. "Heh, yeah. As long as you don't really break the bones, unless you have a spare lying around. But yeah, otherwise injuries aren't too hard to deal with. If I lose an arm, I can just stitch it right back on." Moure nodded, then looked a bit concerned over at Bul. He was coughing...erhh, Moure'd let him run for too long, apparently.
"I'll have to introduce you two sometime, if you want." He gave a shrug, figuring anyone who liked running and sports would get along great with Danny. It looked like Bul would be able to make it to the bench and fountain, good good.
Moure's assumption was correct, as Bul then responded as such. As they made it to the fountain, Moure watched the lizard-like boil as guzzled the water, noticing how red the other boil's face was. "You going to be alright?" He gestured toward the bench, "Do you need to sit or lay down or something?"

Ironically Bul would end up joining Danny's club at some point but he didn't know that yet. "I'd like that, it's good to meet new students school's a beast yanno?"
Between a couple more slurps at the water fountain he nodded to the patchwork and shook his head to each remark. "I'm fine don't worry. I just think I'm done for the day," he coughed a little as if trying to drown out a laugh then stepped back and kept his hands behind his head.
"Man that was a great workout, really," he sighed through more controlled breaths. He had a good red sweat breaking out so it was safe to assume he was done and ready to cool off. "You could really help me get in the habit of daily jogs."

Moure gave a nod. Neither knew he wouldn't have to introduce them after all, it would seem. "I haven't met too many others, but I'm sure Danny would like to meet you sometime too. She'd probably be into the Fitness Club too."
"If you're sure you're alright." Moure gave a nod and looked around. They'd come a good distance down the path, in all actuality. It was no wonder that the reptilian student was a tad on the tired side.
At Bul's words, Moure responded with a slight grin and a nod. "Happy to help." Moure couldn't help but notice the...interesting color of the sweat of the other student. It was probably normal though, since the other didn't seem fazed by it. Moure gave the other another nod at his statement. "I'm always up for jogging. Even more so when it's helping someone out. So yeah, I'm open for daily jogs." Helping get Bul out and running everyday would definitely be something Moure could to.
