Within the Guild of Roaring Thunder was a workshop where a certain Pikachu made her home. It was here Tempest was making her usual rounds, giving her tools a wide birth less she be tempted to take one up and smash something in frustration. It felt as though they were losing, and yet they held the majority of the relics. Without that mirror/sword, however, they didn't stand a chance. That was her main thoughts. If only they could get that sword, they'd have a chance in hell, but while the Elite held the power to cut down any legendary that stood before them, the guilds were left without their trump cards. 'Hell and damnation...' the Pikachu muttered, sitting up on her hindlegs to push her glasses up with a free paw. The tracking device Alfred had placed on the blade was still there, she could look it up quite easily but it did no good. It was in the Tower of Origins still. Protected from all sides by walls forged from Arceus own power, guarded by his Elite children. There would be no breaking in there...or...or would there be? Tempest's eyes widened with a sudden realization that there was a slim chance of getting into the tower. Slim. Very slim. It was surely suicidal. She determined then to mention it to Tolin who was the resident specialist in 'Suicidal Plans' and pivoted around with the intent to do just that...until the large, rectangular window located just over the steel doors shattered into pieces. Tempest's fur stood on end, her cheeks sparked indignantly at this attack. Dropping with the click-clack of metallic claws before her was a familiar Skarmory with red markings and jagged shards of metal teeth overlapping its beak. "You again, bird-brain? Didn't you get enough of a smack down when I tore your relic from your mouth?" The Pikachu had fought this Pokemon before, when the Elite first assaulted the guilds. His Relic had been embedded on the inside of his mouth, over his wiry tongue, and she had ripped the confounded thing right out of its beak. "Yes, him again. And me as well. Hello, Tempest of Storms. Interesting name. I'm Eridanus." From the Skarmory's back a white head peered around to smile at her pleasantly. The bird dropped to a crouch, unfolding it's wings to allow the massive Eevee to step from it's back onto the floor. "I know who you are. What the hell do you want?" Tempest's temper flared, her ears flattened to her head and she kept her sharp teeth visible in a silent snarl to make her point. "The Steel Relic, please. Hand it over and you get to live." Eridanus pipped, taking a moment to take a few steps closer before plopping onto the ground on his tail and patiently awaiting her response with a sickly sweet smile. The guildmaster weighed her options. They'd take it by force regardless. The chances of her surviving this encounter either way did not look good, but she could make her mark. A spark of mischief entered her eyes and she nodded briskly. "Oh that? Sure, sure. At the other end of my workshop here, follow me if you want but I'm not going to make a break for it." With that she turned and began to trot away slowly, Eridanus flicked his ears in a signal for the Skarmory to follow and the great, metal bird did as commanded. Tempest inhaled and held her breath at the sound of those sharp talons tapping so closely behind her. When she reached the end of the aisle she turned for the counter where she had been working at a few weeks ago and grabbed a small black box. Heading back to Eridanus she extended it out to him in silence. The Eevee glanced at her then to the box. After a moment he stated, "You open it." The suspiscion in his voice was clear, but undaunted Tempest did as asked and flipped the top back. Eridanus flinched, but immediately afterwards his eyes lit up and a smile lit across his face. "All of the Relics! They left them with you?!" "Yes, sure. I'm the most responsible, you know." Within the box gleamed the Water, Fire, Dark, Steel, Flying, Dragon, Ground, Ice, Electric, Rock, and Ghost Relics. The stones were aligned in a circle with a few missing spaces to indicate the relics that were not present. In an almost childish glee the Eevee snatched the box from Tempest to peer more closely at his prizes. In that few seconds Tempest grit her teeth and let her cheeks spark. From the center of each Relic a small red light began to beep frantically. "What's this?!" Reacting to the Pikachu's own electrical signal, the false Relics suddenly began to glow hot white in the same manner as an Explosion move. This wasn't surprising as they has been enfused with highly destructive TMs set to go off at Tempest and Tempest alones charge. Before the homicidal normal type could say another word they went off in a blinding explosion of whites and reds, the ground tore to shreds and the tables surrounding the aisle went flying, but Tempest had already hightailed it out of the path of destruction, her speed easily allowing her to outrun the blasts shockwave until she'd reached the stairs, but her victory was short lived. A metallic blur skid to a stop before her, the Skarmory's angry red eyes narrowed as it flapped its one remaining wing in fury. The broken edges of metal rattled noisily together. From behind her a calm, almost placid voice called out, "You will regret that severely..."

Solaris padded into the Main Hall, his ears swiveling around and alert to the slightest noise. He'd heard something. What, he could not be sure of, but he did know that any suspicious sound could be a signal of attack and so he'd left his cozy bed to venture out and see if he couldn't find out what it was. Upon stepping into the middle of the room the sound became more clear. A soft tapping from the massive, wooden double-doors that acted as the main entrance to the guild. The Espeon flattened his ears and inched forward in caution, once at the door he waited until the knocking began once more. They wouldn't knock if it was an attack. That was just silly. So Solaris reached for the handle, balancing on his hindlegs, and pulled the door open only to be proven wrong when a sudden force struck him in the center of the stomach, knocking the wind out of him and sending him hurtling across the room. He slammed, back first, into the staircase that led to the upper levels and gave a sharp cry at the sharp pain that temporarily blackened his vision. When it had subsided and he could see once again, he pushed himself back to all fours and gaped in horror at the now open door. Standing there in the doorframe was Eridanus, the right side of his face had been torn and blood clung to the fur across his muzzle. It dripped messily on the ground as he stalked in, a large Skarmory towering behind him. "Call your guild, Solaris." The Eevee hissed, venom dripping from each word and holding the far from subtle threat of death. "We need to discuss something." When the Espeon, in his shock, did not move Eridanus nodded to the Steel type behind him to do the job for him. The Skarmory moved to the rarely used alarm bell and struck it once with a firm kick, the chime echoed out across the guild like a mournful howl. It was at that point the Eevee tossed a small black object forward. It clattered across the ground, sliding to a stop before the Espeon's paws. A pair of black glasses, one lens was cracked and smeered with blood while the other was missing entirely. Solaris inhaled sharply, not many Pokemon wore glasses and he recognized this pair almost immediately. "Tempest."

Epitaph -- Ver --- Freya --- Erudeca -- Fang“Where is she, Solaris?!” Her voice bounded from across the Main Hall and the nuclear charged Raichu came forward with an angry stride toward the large Espeon. She looked pissed, simplified. The Raichu’s body gave off a strong heat and her red cheeks glowed on and off slowly and repetitively. Tempest was gone far too long and Fang felt a sickening force build up in her compact body. The alarm going off made it all the worse. She took no hesitation in getting in the Espeon’s face what best she could. Fang stood tall, her head drew back and she glared up at him in a low growl. It lasted no more than a few seconds as her attention reeled toward Eridanus. Her manner seemed to change from rage to confusion instantly upon laying sights on the Eevee. She never even stopped to notice the glasses-- everything else had her attention. “What is he…?” The old Raichu made a quick glance from Solaris to Eridanus. The Skarmory overall ignored. She knew this Eevee. That hellfire he created of the area they now stood in replayed in her mind. That Eevee was a bloody wreck. Have it be his and someone else’s, she didn’t know. She had her guesses and she really didn’t want to know. Fang stepped away from Solaris. The advisor stared Eridanus down for a moment before turning her attention toward the ground in silence. It was like she was never enraged to begin with. She instead pondered why they were still standing here and not in an all out war. Epitaph waltzed in lazily after the Raichu and promptly sat by Solaris. Her actions were off, but expected. She had eyed the large Eevee prior and there was nothing to say that could be answered. At least, nothing she wanted answered.
The team behalf made their way toward the hall a decent amount of time after the Advisor. What was once a casual, “I don’t want to answer the alarm” stroll quickly ended upon entering the area, and Ver’s lone eye tore across the hall at Eridanus. His reaction? It was as good as Fang’s. Stare in shock and let the past events involuntarily play in your mind. Freya glanced between the large Eevee and Ver, whom was still frozen in place. “Ver, who is that?” He stalled. Deca instead glanced over and gasped with joy. “I remember him!” Freya fell into confusion between the bipolar reactions to the Eevee’s presence. “…No one you want to know.” Ver’s reply was delayed. He merely lowered his head and continued his way into the hall. Freya watched him carefully before trotting after him with Deca in tow. She was skipping happily. AnuesThe white Gardevoir dropped down from a gap that promptly opened and closed above him. He remained leaned lazily against a back wall, generally out of the way so he could easily observe. His attention covered the hall slowly, but eventually met Eridanus and his attention drew no further. He hadn't seen the Eevee since that encounter long ago. His attention fell on the Skarmory then. It was damaged. Eridanus was no different. He gave a swift, puzzled blink before breaking his curious stare. Anues' gaze quickly trailed off elsewhere to nowhere in particular, avoiding any possible eye contact with the Eevee. His presence alone made the Gardevoir shiver. It was such a strange looking thing. Little crossed his mind, but he did regret leaving the bar. He didn't think Aire would show after that meeting with Tolin and naturally he rather be with her. This here though wasn't something he wanted to miss. ...He just hoped it wouldn't be that bad.

~Mugen ~Acetone
On the way back to their living quarters after a simple midday stroll, the peculiar family spawned from the match-up of an Eeveelution and a Sceptile found themselves on the outskirts of a growing crowd with some sort of confrontation going on in the midst of it. One of the main participants Mugen recognized but the disfigured vulpine creature and his pet bird were another story and not his problem unless made so. There was an obvious sense of alarm coming from others in attendance and just for the sake of caution he reacted accordingly. In one swift movement a long scythe was drawn from sheathe of sorts set on his back; the blade itself appearing to have the ability to fold in on its handle and only lock into its appropriate place when removed from its encasement. And in case it is a concern to anyone, yes, it is entirely understandable in this place especially to go on evening outings with your family sporting heavy weaponry in anticipation of scenarios like this arising. Behind the blade of the Sceptile, which was now held in a way so that the sharpened end was on the ground, stood a young Treecko, barely able to look over the black, shining blade of the scythe and catch a glimpse of the scene before them. Despite having not made many public appearances as of late around the guild, he was all too accustomed to sudden horrific events arising for no particular reason; never mind having to show any fear when standing so close to his father's blade. His father who he has utmost respect and reverence for especially as he is now with age coming into a personality of his own though granted it resembles the larger Sceptile's quiet and reserved nature as if it were entirely inherited.
~Blight Having gotten word that both of their sets of 'parents' were MIA as far as in terms to the Sun Guild went; Team Off_Limits couldn't contain themselves against making an appearance at the said destination to see the reality for themselves. However it seems their plans were on hold momentarily as their path took them right into the midst of some sort of violent looking gathering. "Hey, Chase! Look over there! Heheh, that Espeon looks like he's about to piss himself."

Era & Sereni Era's ears pricked up as she heard the ringing of the alarm bell. It was different than the normal alarm, but all the same it was clearly an alarm. A chill ran down her spine as she wondered what would have caused a different alarm to be rung. Whatever it was, it couldn't be good. The Pikachu was in good condition after rest and lots of help from Javs, so when she jumped up to answer the alarm it wasn't met by any protest; the problem was that it wasn't met by any support either. Era looked around curiously to find the rest of the Team preoccupied with their own various things, without Ethfael there to jump to her aid she needed to go out of her way to get help it seemed. "Sereni," she said softly, causing the Lanturn to turn at attention. "Would you mind coming with me?"
Sereni blinked in surprise at the unexpected question, "Of course Era, I didn't realize..." she stopped the rest of her comment before it began as Era's face fell. It wasn't the Pikachu's fault that Ethfael was still away, but it didn't help that she felt like she was useless without him when none of her Team jumped at the alarm like she did. "Let's get going then, shall we?" the Lanturn said brightly, trying to make up for her mistake. Era smiled slightly and nodded, and the pair headed out.
When they reached the Main Hall, it didn't take very long at all to gather in the situation, but processing it was a whole other story. Standing in the doorway was that Eevee, looking ready to murder something and with him a massive Skarmory. On the staircase lay Solaris and a few others were nearby including Fang. Era looked at the Raichu in confusion as she had her outburst of anger which segued immediately into a strange calm, and tried to figure out what was going on. She made her way down the stairs and took a place nearby the others, closer to the Raichu herself. Sereni waited off to the side, unsure of what was going on. She knew nothing about the Pendants or anything of the sort, so instead she just waited for some sort of instruction.
Era looked from Eridanus and the Skarmory to Solaris and was taken aback by something she hadn't seen before: lying on the floor at Solaris' paws was something small and black, a pair of glasses. What caused Era to freeze and look again, her heart catching in her throat was what the glasses looked like. They were certainly Tempest's glasses and they were almost destroyed and stained with blood. Era put a paw to her mouth in horror, shutting her eyes to try and block out the sight. No, no it couldn't be. Tempest...

♠ Aloura ♥ Lavicus ♣ "That noise... Aloura said, trailing off as if trying to recall something. She and her partner, Lavicus, were in their team's room when the alarm sounded. The noise to which the absol refered. "It's the alarm bell," Lavicus informed his naive partner, "Which means we have to go. Now." Aloura nodded, slightly embarrassed for not knowing what it was. True, she had never heard the alarm before, but neither had her partner and yet he knew what it was. Sometimes she felt as if she didn't know a thing, and was often proven true to the point. There was nothing she could do about her lack of knowledge now, however, so she pushed the thought from her head. Lavicus was already headed for the door and she did not intend to be left behind.
When they stepped out of their room, they were met by a trickle of pokemon. Joining them, they followed the trickle, which turned into a stream, and a torrent respectively as they entered more main corridors. When they finally reached the basin of the pokemon river, the place to which they had been summoned, they were met with a sight that made no sense to the team. A pair of injured pokemon, a skarmory and some sort of eeve kin, leered over the espeon the team knew as their guild master and a large raichu. This was clear enough. Lavicus, with the advantage of a flexible body that could grant hight when he wished it, though he spotted a pair of broken glasses on the ground. Of the nature of their significance he was not sure, but that they were as such was clear. This was a bit puzzling, but extremely so. What the basically new members could not comprehend was the shock that hummed through the crowd, filling the faces of many who crowded around the scene.
"For what reason are they of such a surprised attitude?" Aloura asked her partner, a tad nervous. Lavicus shook his head. Why did she expect him to know everything? Still, he could guess. It was obvious that their reaction was more than what the situation would require if it had been any old pokemon. Which meant... "Those two bloodied pokemon must have done something awful. Or be extremely powerful and not on our side. Don't ask me what they want. All I know is that this isn't going to be a pleasant meeting." Based on their last extrusion with the guild, Aloura felt that last part was not at all off base. She tried to brace herself for what was to come, though she suddenly had a feeling that the events that would take place were not something one could easily brace one's self for.

XXX XXXXXXX—¤÷(`Nadia & Luke ´)÷¤—Strokes of light from the glass window shone straight at the Mightyena's face. She groaned slightly and shifted her position on her comfy bed. Less than a few minutes later she blinked open her eyes. That same green colored iris glowed brightly. She stood up lazily and stretched on all fours, yawning widely at the same time too. Just then she heard the alarm rang loudly across the guild. She pricked her ears and looked out at the team room door. She felt something different but she couldn't quite place it. She turned to see Luke already awake and sauntering towards her in a polite manner. "Its the alarm.." Her voice trailed away, not wanting to disrupt the silence and that she was still slightly too sleepy to create a more larger voice.
Without wasting any time left to give his team leader to continue her sentence, he answered for her. "Very well then." He turned to the door, quickening his pace so that they won't be late for whatever reason why the alarm bell rang. He saw her nodding and followed behind him. "Oh I am sorry, ladies first." He said as he stood aside to let her pass first.
As they arrived at the scene, the crowd in the middle of Main Hall spontaneously growing with the many Pokemon that answered the alarm. Nadia managed to spot two suspicious-looking characters, a huge Eevee and a Skarmory. She quickly figured out who the Eevee was in a second despite all the blood and flesh was torn from the two bodies. It was Eridanus! Why is he doing here? And the same time why is he so injured? She lowered her ears and tried looking away, avoiding to look at their bloody mess. Her tail dropped and flicked every now and then, but not as often as usual. Looking at severely injured people like that makes her uncomfortable now. Especially if something like that would happen to any of her teammates.

xx xx xAndrew & Rani & ThomasA small, black ear twitched at the sound of the familiar ring of the alarm. As it echoes through the guild, however, he noticed it wasn't as rhythmic as far as he knew. It was unusual. When the sound ended the small fire type leaped out of his bedding, having stayed out of the line of fire to take care their unhatched team-mate the last few calls, he was itching to get out of the house. Thomas bounded out of the room to meet with the rest of the team; Claire and Andrew were already planning who was to go, and who was to stay. "Thomas!" The silver larvitar called over, "You, me, and Rani are going." The tepig nodded and glanced over at the body of Judas, seemingly somewhat put down he had to stay behind, Thomas figured he could find no reason to object. He had heard what had happened with the legendary, and if anything he needed rest, if not time to figure out he needed to focus before he make any moves. He turned his direction away and followed his team-mates out the door.
The moment before they stepped into the gathering, a shiver was sent down his spine. "Something's very wrong." Rani muttered. He looked in the nidoran's direction. It seems she wasn't the only one who had picked up on the eerie atmosphere. The team walked into the crowd, glancing up at scene before them. To put bluntly, they were stunned. That eevee, they had seen him before. 'Leave no stone unturned, no egg untouched; Kill them! Kill them all!' The memory rang in his head, so vivid he could feel the unnatural power of fire in the clearing. The tepig looked over the familiar face, still holding the rage and pure evil, now bloody and torn. "It's Eridanus..." He snorted, feeling the fire inside him growing larger with every heart-beat. Black smoke flared out of his nostrils in anger, ready to attack at any given moment.

     --------Solaris-------------Fire------------Nitro----Chase------Harley
"What have you done with her?!" Solaris snarled, asking the question no one else had. Tempest couldn't be...she just couldn't. The Pikachu was so stubborn and prideful. There was no way, not even Eridanus could stop her. Right? Right?! Rushing onto the scene, a sleek blur of black and gray, Harley of Team Hunter made her way to the center of the room. The Poochyena did not pause to take note of what was happening. She didn't recognize this Eevee or Skarmory, nor the glasses on the ground. It wasn't anything she'd seen before nor anything she understood. All she had heard was the alarm and so she came running.
"What the hell is going on?" Fire, however, was fully aware of what was going on and was looking forward to it. Carnage, battle, hurray! It'd been so long since she'd gotten to do some decent battling, especially since becoming a mother. Most of her free time was spent with her children, not that it bothered her, but she did miss the life of action and adventure that occured regularly within the guild. Perched upon her back, little Nitro was far from enthused. Fighting? Eh, he didn't like the idea. Hopefully if he stuck with mom he'd be fine.
'He's not the only one.' Chase thought in regards to Blight's comment. He refused to speak it out loud, if only because he knew the Buneary would mock him for it. "Let's not get too close." The Ralts suggested, hoping Blight would at least humor him. It was times like these that made him miss Cutlass. She knew what to do during these situations.
  Eridanus------Steel
The Eevee did not answer the Espeon. He fell silent, raising a paw to lick with rapid strokes from his tongue before swiping it over his left ear in an attempt to clean it. Solaris glowered at him until Eridanus lifted his gaze and met that of the lavender-eyed Psychic's. "Those that stand against me, stop standing entirely." The normal type hissed with a sudden flash of fury. "I give you one last chance to surrender to me. Surrender the pendants! All of them! As well as that Gardevoir! Then maybe, MAYBE, I'll let you all live..." Solaris inhaled sharply, of course they wouldn't do as he said. The guilds would be destroyed regardless of the decision to surrender now. Eridanus would not let them walk away. Understandind the silence as a refusal, the Eevee snarled. His fur stood on end as he swished his tail in a signal for the Skarmory to attack. "Shred them, Steel." The bird opened it's hinged mouth and let loose a loud shriek that distorted the air around it. A Metal Sound filled the guild with it's horrid ringing, temporarily disorienting any who heard it. In that small window of time the bird had taken to the skies, even with it's damaged wing it moved swiftly and made for a hard target...
Eridanus is shielded, he can not be attacked.
Steel HP: 30 You need to get him out of the air to do any serious damage!

"Fire, take the kids and get them out of here." The Sceptile honestly had no clue why he muttered those words. He wished he could even think that he didn't care for the direction these events were heading in, but the thought of a fight of this scale after so long without any sort of challenge was undoubtedly ideal for both him and his love. If anything she was far more cut out against this enemy it seemed in comparison to himself who although managed to find himself means of protecting himself against fire found himself still weak to anything airborne. "Daddy, nyuu! I want to stay!" His orders, although not expected to be followed through in the first place, were quickly shot down as a pair of small gecko hands were wrapped around the shaft of his blade as a sign of defiance against leaving. Mumbling something under his breath, Mugen, in one swoop, brought up the scythe to his shoulders, child still attached and shook it until Ace detached himself and rested much more relaxed around his neck. The directions to hold on for dear life and you get to stick around being understood fully by the younger grass type.
~Blight "Awe! C'mon! I bet they're gonna' start fighting and stuff!" Blight found himself in a never ending bobbing motion as he bounced repetitively to keep his head just above the crowd; movement comparable to that of a prairie-dog. "...Or maybe not." The Buneary found himself calming down a bit and returning close to Chase's side as the Skarmory before them took flight. He wouldn't admit it but the Ralts was ever so slightly more apt at fighting than he himself was, especially when pitted against enemies in an air of gravity such as this.

Epitaph -- Ver --- Freya --- Erudeca -- FangEpitaph’s ears lowered as she listened to the Eevee. Her temperature began to rise as she pulled herself back to her paws by Solaris’ side upon Eridanus’ orders. Fang stepped away from the two Sun guilders and glanced out into the guild itself. When her attention snapped forward again, her once puzzled expression reverted to rage and her eyes locked on the Skarmory. When the Metal Sound was released, the advisors and team stood stunned. Fang was the first to rebound, shrilling out in rage as she took off after Steel. Her overheating body gave of firey sparks that intensified as she dashed at the airborne Flying type before coming to a total halt, standing up, and throwing her fist forward, punching into the air. The energy build up responded accordingly and fired at the Skarmory, leaving the softly glowing radioactive Raichu to stagger back. Epitaph remained by Solaris.
Ver’s body flared as he stepped forward into the battle, activating his Calm Mind and Helping Hand. The bandage around his eye seemed to fair fine. His working eye promptly locked on Steel’s weakened wing and he released a Searing Shot at the bird in a bulleting display. Deca went off sprinting ahead of him in clear laughter. Her body sparked furiously as her blue eyes locked on the overhead bird and she released a Thunder upon him. She trailed off into a Charge; the sparking that surrounded her body calmed before firing up again in an Electro Ball that promptly fired at Steel. Her Charge slowly worked itself up again. Freya remained passive where the team once stood. She wasn’t all that useful in this situation anyway.((-8, Calm Mind and Helping Hand in effect. Charge in effect.)) AnuesAnues remained in an idle. His ears made slight twitches to Eridanus’ words despite his distance from the Eevee. He gave a curious blink before flinching away at the sound of the screech that echoed throughout the hall, overall off guard. When he looked back up, the Elite had already taken fight and he responsively became defensive. His back hugged the wall and his eyes followed Steel closely. An indistinctive psychic emitted from the young Gardevoir, though mainly to deflect any potential debris. For now, the psychic remained passive and studied.

& & ( Red & The Raven & GOOP )Red ran out of their room as the alarm sounded, later than the rest of the teams. Behind her waddled The Raven, a pair of drumsticks tied to his waist, and GOOP, tongue out as he ran in circles around Red.
There had been an argument over who should go, Red wanted to go with her usual partner Blue, but he had told her that he should stay behind. He said he had needed to stay with the egg, it seemed close to hatching and he was going to be there when it did. Purple apparently needed to stay as well, though she wouldn't have pressured him too much into coming anyways...he wasn't one who liked to fight.
Luckily Raven had stepped up to the plate. And GOOP...GOOP just wanted to tag along. There really was no reason for him coming other than if they left him behind he would come anyways.
They joined the rest of the teams as the fight had already started, a loud screech filling the air around them as they skidded to a halt. To Reds sensitive ears, this was torture. She closed her eyes, her ears going down and her paws coming up to cover them. Despite having no visible ears, The Raven put his wings up to the sides of his head as well, a frown on his beak. Strangely, GOOP seemed undaunted by the noise, if not somewhat curious about it.
Still covering her ears to protect herself from the horrid sound, she opened her mouth and sent a Flamethrower the birds way. The Raven did the same, though out of his beak came a Hydro Pump, and following the examples of his comrades GOOP let out an ice beam. He didn't know why, but it was actually kinda fun! :: ✗ Basilisk :: Ren ✗"You cant make me go" "You vanna vet?"
Ren floated into the hall, Basilisk surrounded by a pink glow floating along behind her. He had an unamused look on his face, "Okay, you can physically make me. I'm still mentally in the room though" he told her. She was about to comment back, but a loud noise surrounded them.
As soon as it was over, Basilisk was dropped to the ground, his teammate no longer able to hold him. "What in blazes was that!" Basilisk said aloud. Ren seemed to be looking beyond him, "Don't look now, vut I zink zat you are in trouble."
Basilisk looked anyways. What did he have to be afraid o- HOLY ARCEUS. Not only was it a bird, it was a metal bird. This was a suicide alarm, he was sure. He took a step back, "...you can take this one Ren"
She rolled her eyes, looking down at him. So strange, he was brave against a Raikou and yet now he was cowering in the face of some dumb bird.

♠ Aloura ♥ Lavicus ♣ From their distance, there was not much Aloura and Lavicus could make out about the going ons the crowd had gathered around. The slight murmurer of the crowd blocked out the conversation entirely to their ears, and while Lavicus could see them quite clearly that did little good. Based on facial expressions his best guess was that the eeve was threatening the prominent guild members. For what purpose, however, he hadn't the slightest idea.
As he looked on, trying to pick out even the slightest detail, the white eeve gave a swish of his tail. This was apparently a signal to the metal bird, for a soon as he did so the bird let out a harrowing, metallic screech. It seemed to reverberate throughout the room, echoing painfully in the team's skull as forcefully as a physical attack. Lavicus hissed loudly, flinching as if struck while simultaneously Aloura ducked her head down, squeezing her eyes shut tightly. By the time the last metallic strains faded and the team had recovered, the bird had taken to the air. Other pokemon promptly began to attack it while Lavicus could only stare at it in dismay. Not only was he at a type disadvantage, but he could do nothing to hit it in the air. Aloura on the other hand, could at least do something. Looking over to his partner, he was opened his mouth to say something but she was already summoning tiny crystals of ice into existence. A split second later, a blast of chilling air fraught with danger shards of ice shot strait at the bird, hitting it square on. He nodded, more to himself than to her. The attack had been good. "I am not completely without use..." Aloura muttered slightly, the comment seemed to be directed at the seviper, but he only barely caught it. He ignored it as if he had not, in fact, heard it at all. These were not things to be concerned with at the moment.

Era & Sereni Era watched the quick exchange between Solaris and Eridanus before the impending battle, her attempts at trying to block out the scene stopping abruptly as she listened. The Eevee said nothing, Tempest was...Tempest was... She blinked her eyes and a silent tear fell into her paw as she felt something that she hadn't truly felt in a long time: anger. She wasn't just mad, she was beyond it. There was no way Tempest could have survived that, was there? Eridanus was merciless, if he wanted to kill Tempest then there was little chance she was alive now, the glasses only stood to prove it. Why? she thought bitterly, Why did it have to be Tempest?" She felt as though she knew the older Pikachu better than she did, their meetings had been good ones and Tempest had been someone who Era looked up to, she had wanted to tell her how proud she was to be the Pikachu's friend, but it was too late for that now... Well she wasn't able to do much, she was only one Pikachu, but that didn't matter. If she could she would do something, anything she would do it; for Tempest's sake.
At Eridanus' cue, the massive Skarmory let out a screech that forced Era's paws to her ears until it ended. As she stared up at the flying bird, sparks flew from her cheeks in anger; she couldn't fly up there, not if she wanted to live, but she had to do something. "Sereni!" she called out to the Lanturn who was cringing from the after sound, "Attack it!" The Lanturn balked, she'd never seen Era look this angry before, her tone was harsh and she looked ready to kill; it wasn't normal, and Sereni was almost afraid. Despite her uncertainties though, the Lanturn obliged, aiming a Water Gun at the wing of the Skarmory to hopefully hit amongst the other attacks that were flying upwards after focusing with a Calm Mind. The Skarmory was pretty high up, and secretly Sereni wondered just how much damagethese attacks could do from the ground, but she kept her thoughts to herself.
Era crouched down on all fours, her cheeks still sparking furiously as she stared up at the Skarmory, tracing its flight path to try and keep track of where it was headed. The Pikachu waited patiently for the right moment to strike, her electricity building and building as she waited. There! The Skarmory was near enough that it was almost above her head, Era sent a Thunder shooting upward at it, the lightning flying from her body up at the metal bird. Just as quickly after she stood up and sent a Thunderbolt after as well, not pausing for more than an instant between the two. The Pikachu's wings flapped slightly as if wanting to get her up in the air but she remained on the ground for now, despite wanting to fly up at it. "Come on..." she muttered, glaring up and waiting for it to make its next move.((-6 Steel))
