[This is a BACKDATED RP!]
It was time.
She had been living with Ever for a while now. He had been sleeping on the floor for so long... then again, she couldnt remember anything since before lviing with him, so to her it did feel like eternity. She had to admit, she would feel sad not having the constant companionship of him around. He was a bit odd at times, but he was a good person. Ever had protected her when she needed it... sometimes when she REALLY needed it and she didnt listen and went anyways.
She would miss him, but.. Sabine also knew he was here if she ever needed him. Not like he could just up and leave anyways, in a way they both worked together.
Pulling out a box (she found in an alley) she started to fold and pack her clothing and belongings. "Hey Ever? When this is full could you help me carry this?" As a civilian she was pretty weak. As a negaverser... she could have probably piggy backed Ever if she wanted to.

Should Ever have been sad about her leaving? Probably. And maybe he was -- but if so, he drew a damned good cover over the emotions. She had probably stepped in on him whistling as he tidied things up, trying to make sure the place was together enough that nothing would get lost in the shuffle, that none of her belongings would end up trapped under a blanket and noticed three days later. In stories, people clung to items like that, worrying wet-eyed over absent friends as the hugged some stuffed memoir.
Truthfully, though, he was looking forward to living her alone again. No fault of hers, but of his own. Privacy, now and then, was a wonderful thing.
He poked his head out at her call, leaned into the bathroom doorway and watched her. At least he wasn't whistling, tone deaf and mostly without rhythm, now. He did smile crookedly though. "That's what I'm here for, right? Is that all you have?"

Blinking, she turned around and gave him a look. "Well you're also here because you live here...right?" Maybe some of Evers sarcasm had brushed off on the girl, poor him.
"....But yes i do need help if you dont mind. One last thing though." Placing the last of her small stash into the box, she pushed it across the bed in his direction.
Inside the bathroom now, she came out a moment later holding a toothbrush. "...I think this is everything." Looking around the room once more, her eyes had a hint of sadness for the briefest moment.

Ever wasn't actually that much stronger than her -- in human form, anyway. But he stooped to grab her box anyway, hiking it up onto his hip and struggling with it awkwardly, trying to get it settled somewhere not too terribly uncomfortable. He was willing to carry, to help her move out, to get things packed up and her settle in. Meet her roommate. Whatever it took.
"Are we walking? Is someone, uh, giving a ride? Cab? Subway?" He licked his lips, blinking down at her: not impatient but uncertain. Ever had never actually moved anyone before.

"Bus for a bit and then its not that long of a walk...." She pulled out a 5 dollar bill, looking at him. "I think this is enough for two unless they charge for the box too?" It was not a very large box, just filled with a few changes of clothing and odds and ends. Sabine was holding the stuffed animal red panda that Zac bought her.
"I can help carry some things if youd like?"

Another man would probably have proposed not only a cab but would have been gentlemanly and paid for it, too. It wasn't that Ever couldn't be gentleman, it was just...well, he didn't do cabs. He couldn't remember the last time he'd hailed himself one, the last time he'd voluntarily entered a yellow monster. In fact, he couldn't quite remember the last time he'd been in a car, even. He knew the subway the best, so he fidgeted at the suggestion.
"What's the address, Sabine? Maybe I can find us another route." Just the idea of a bus, and its rattling movements, made Ever motion sick. He could definitely find another way.

(HEY BLUE IM TAGGING YOU AT 3 AM HOLY CRAP RITE? XD )
Blinking, she lowered the 5 dollar bill and gave a head tilt at the fidgetting. "Why...are you moving around like that..?" She questioned... curiously. "Are you cold?"
She let that hang in the air for a bit, probably not to get a reply. Though when asked the address, she rambled it off. Zac had told her the location, and evens howed her how to booby trap things.

Relief at the familiar sound of street signs; Ever shrugged off the concern and went for the door, still lugging the box along with him. He should have held it for her, so that she could slip past, should have been a bit more gentlemanly -- but it was a bit heavy, damnit. Pragmatism won out.
"We'll take the subway, then." He could find their way there. He thought. Might even be faster than dealing with a buss, and it would sure as hell be more comfortable. "It shouldn't take that long..."

"....We are going to take that sub shop to get to my school?" That caused her to frown. She had never eaten at this place, but she had passed by it before. Was there some sort of magical way to transport through there? Lost in thought, she stood there for a moment. Blinking at his rapid escape, she almost had a moment of 'oh' as her mouth pretty much formed that O shape. Blinking she grabbed a hoodie really quick that she almost forgot, and took off after the white haired man. She gave a quick last look over her shoulder....
"Is there a magical door or something behind it?"

Ever flicked her a look like he couldn't believe she was serious, an eyebrow raised and his head cocked to the side. She had been going out. He knew she had; there had been the confessions, the late-night returns, the sneaking out that he pretended not to notice, on occasion. She'd met up with friends and how had she --
Oh. Right. Teleportation. That did make things neater. And it made him pause about halfway down the stairs, blinking and trying to focus. "...why aren't we teleporting, actually?"

"..I.." That made her stop, think, and stare.
".....Why didn't i..." The fact of the matter was, as a senshi... teleportation was not her first instinct. It did not come to mind usully unless in a pinch, and even then her flight reflex was to run.
Sometimes being senshi effected her thought process more than she liked.
"...I guess we could teleport close by?" And then walk the rest of the way as humans. Shuffling out of his apartment, she turned down an alley rather than towards where people would see them change.

With a very, very soft sound of amusement, he started after her: still clutching at the box, shifting as he considered, and then something clicked into place.
"...oh." He reached out to grab her arm and almost dropped everything as he pulled her back, and then down toward the subway entrance. Shaking his head. It wouldn't hurt to gis together for a bit anyway, would it? "I don't think we can take the stuff with us, if we do. Your brother mentioned something like that, I think."

Yelping a little at the initial tug, she let him drag her towards the subway without much of a word after that. Not until they got to the subway at least. "...Why are we heading under ground?" She eyed the stairs warily, watching people come and go easily into whatever lead down there. She had seen the stairs before, but never really went down them.
"Im guessing it would not be good to test the teleporting thing now. I'de rather not lose my stuff." She furrowed her eyebrows.
"...Are we heading down there?"

"Uh huh." He fumbled with the box, trying to haul her along with him and cling to his armful at the same time and -- it wasn't exactly easy. Quite the opposite, in fact. He made a faintly frustrated sound and let her go.
"Subway. I'm guessing that means you don't have a card. I'll go through and then pass mine back and you can follow..." Fumbling still, he at least managed to get out the battered, duct-tape thing that served as a wallet. Ever fished out his subway card, shaking his head a little at her expression as he swiped and slid through.
"It's better than the bus." The card was held out between two fingers, an offering across the bar.

"You need a card to get through these? "She said as he handed her the plastic. Thankfully he had went through first, so he had showed her what to do. A swipe of the card as he had, and pushing through that metal bar, she was through, and looking up at Ever all proud of herself for a moment.
She did something right! Yeah Ever had shown her on example, so it technically was cheating, but all the same she couldn't hide that proud look from her eyes.
Looking around at the semi busy underground area she pondered for a moment. "So these are like... worms?" She could see the tunnels anyways.
