Shadow's eyelids opened. As he adjusted to the lighting, the hedgehog mutant wondered what time it was. His room was always dark, and he didn't have a clock, so he couldn't really tell. But judging from the sound of footsteps and some talking outside in the common room, Shadow guessed it was at least morning.
Getting up, he thought about the weird dream he'd had during the night...In it, he'd helped Kodi back to her room or something...But while everything had seemed so real, it couldn't have been. Why would he even touch Kodi? And what the hell was with that part where he was admiring her beauty? Shaking his head, the mutant unlocked his door and exited the room. ~~

Kodi was curled up on the floor in a messy pile of blankets and pillows, her hair flaring out from her head. The quiet thud of footsteps outside her room were amplified with her hearing and she moaned, rolling over to her back, "Shut up." she groaned, throwing a pulling over her head to block out the noise, but it wasn't really helping much.
After about three minutes of twisting and turning to mute the noise, Kodi sat up, throwing a pillow at the door, "Idiots." she growled, standing up and walking to her closet. She changed into some simple jean shorts and a plain white t-shirt, quickly combing through her hair and then leaving the comfort of her room. She yawned as she walked down the hall by herself shooting some glares to people who would push past her rudely.

~~ (Oh, and question--can I have several new mutants that are, like, somewhat aqquantiances to Shadow-and-or-Kodi? ;o)
Shadow walked through the hallway. Due to his nature of pissyness and emoness, and due to his awful temper, even mutants of the same "Level" as him backed away when he came through.
He came to a stop, catching, from the corner of his eye, three people quietly laughing, one pointing at him. Growling quietly, his hair stuck up more than usual. In a black flash, the mutant whom was pointing was slammed through the wall. Which, I might add, was thick steel. His comrads quickly went silent, seperating.
As you can see, there was good reason for them to cower upon sight of Shadow. ~~

Kodi continued to walk by herself down the hallway, growling a bit everytime someine touched her, "I soooooo can't wait until I get out of here." she muttered, stretching her arms over her head as she turned a corner and found herself in a relatively empty hallway, leaning back against the wall and folding her arms. She didn't feel like doing anything today, but she didn't want to just do nothing either, feeling rather fickle at the moment.

After giving the deathstare to a kid who could obviously be beaten to a pulp in a second, Shadow regained his emotionless expression and resumed walking down the hall. He walked past Kodi without any sign that he acknowledged her existance. ~~

Kodi closed her eyes and let her head roll back to face the ceiling, sighing, "What to do, what to do...?" she pondered aloud, not even paying attention to the fact that her feet were stuck out and in the path of Shadow as he passed, tripping him. "Maybe I should go and mess with that one kid..." she added, then looked down, smirking, "Oops. Looks like I already have." she giggled.

~~ Shadow was able to turn himself around somehow in midair, so that he handed on his back instead of his face. "Ngh!"
Several passerbyers laughed, but quickly went quiet as the hedgehog mutant at whom they were teasing began giving off the vibe of a killer.
He glared up at Kodi, a low growling in his throat.

Kodi continued to giggle as she looked down at Shadow cockily, "What? You gonna' hit a girl?" she mocked, knowing that she was only pissing him off more by not reacting the way other people did and cower away, but she couldn't help it, she wanted a bit of action at the moment, something to get her adrenaline pumping, and taunting Shadow was just the way to do it. She was surprisingly not as afraid of Shadow as most, since she was a bit tougher than your average girl, and she was probably the only girl whom could even com close to taking Shadow on. She smirked, "Y'know, I've been in the need of a bit of exercise, maybe we could turn this into a game of tag~" she teasted, placing her hands on her hips and bending down, her hair rolling over her shoulders and framed her face. She heard a few gasps from the bystanders at her taunt, and she noticed a few people begin to gather and watch, making her feel that much more anxious to get Shadow pissed off to the ultimate level.

"Sure....let's play..." His hands clenched into fists. "I'll be 'IT.'" ~~

Kodi looked up at Shadow since he was a bit taller than her and she gave him an expecting glance, "Oooo, scary. But you don't seem quite motivated to me... Hmm, what's something I could say or do to put you up to it." she said, folding her arms across her chest. Then, as if she'd gone crazy, Kodi gave Shadow a wide grin, her ears flickered as her tail swished around quickly, and then she spun around, bringing her foot up to kick Shadow in the chest and maybe knock him back a bit, at best she'd startle him as she dashed down the hallway quickly with her insane agility and grace raising her speed ten fold.

~~ Shadow recieved the blow, but it barely did anything. (I wonder if shadow took off his shirt, if he'd have like, a 30-pack? o_O) He growled, powering up his air Shoes and chasing her. Catching up pretty well and in not much time, actually. Although, he was still a good six to eight feet from her. ~~

Kodi glanced back to see him close behind her, bue the smirk never left her face, "Ooo, look who has to cheat just to catch up to lil' ol' me~" she laughed, her voice didn't sound the least bit like she was even breathing hard as she picked up the pace, running faster and gaining more distance from him. One of the advantages to being mutated with a wolf was that she was one of the fastest runners, but that wasn't the only reason why she was so fast, she has always been a fast runner, even though she could be quite a lazy bum, but she could run pretty fast if she wanted too.
[[{{ OOC: Haha, with Kodi, the best would be about a 2-4 pack. xD A majority of her muscle strength is in her arms and legs though. ^^ }}]]
