GAY MARRIAGE IN NEW YORK! (Let's hope!)

For those of you who have been watching the news lately, are you excited?

For those who don't know, New York is in the process of making Gay Marriage legal in that state. They just need one more vote. There have been many protests for and against it. From what I've think I have heard, the results should be posted Sunday. Let's cross our fingers! mrgreen

I saw something about that. Apparently, many New York Republicans are starting to be more supportive of lgbt rights, though possibly at the cost of support from other Republicans. Hopefully no one's scared out of voting for what they feel is right.

I've been watching the news lately and I'm soooooo happy I hope I hope I hope it happens soon! Plus I only live one state away. Hopefully next will come Pennsylvania on legalizing it! biggrin

I check the news every break I get hoping, but still nothing. Still, I have a feeling that even if it doesn't go through this time, it will soon (but if it isn't this time we'll have to wait for their summer break to end). Who knows, maybe Texas is next...Yeah, I'm kidding. That's unfortunately not happening anytime soon.

heart I know the vote will go in..Because in new york..If you can't be who you want...Then people go crazy...And besides...NY is one big jumble of cultures,races, and sexual orientated people...If you can't be who you want here..In the city that hardly ever sleeps...Then well..America ain't doing it's job...I don't even understand what's up with all the religious people. If they have not noticed by now...God loves everyone..And it's them who are going to hell for all the hate that is in them, just because two people of the same sex show love for one another..I know NY will go on with it's plan to approve gay marriage. heart
