Gloomy Sunday is a song composed by Rezső Seress in 1933. It is sometimes know as "The Hungarian Suicide Song" after László Jávor wrote lyrics to it. Many people say this song is a link to many suicides, and it was rumored to be banned later in the 1930's. How this was said to be linked to suicides is that people wrote suicide noted with the lyrics on it and the song made them depressed and sad to the point of suicide. Although, this is only an urban legend, tell me your thoughts about the song.
