AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM Name: Sebastian LeBlanc
Nicknames: Seb, Bastian, anything else people come up with.
Gender: Male
Age: looks about 16, but has been undead for centuries
Faction/Race Undead - Decapitated Reanimation.
Sebastian is based off the The Girl with the Green Ribbon Around her Neck story. So, he still has his head, but its just tied on via his tie.
Natural Ability: Pop! There goes his head again. Sebastian has the ability to pop his head off and on. He does have the ability to function whilst disconnected from his neck, but it's a lot like floating head doctor. His body is derpy and can't do anything without the head. It tries so hard though ; o ;
Personality:
Sebastian always looks like he's brooding about something. He's the type who constantly has a scary look on his face, and the best you'll probably get out of him is a smile. Surprisingly, he's not actually unhappy all of the time. In fact, most of the time he's in a rather good mood; he simply has a scary sort of face. He doesn't intentionally make such a scary face, it's just sort of set that way. Still, it does help with the whole "fear" thing! Sebastian has realized over the years that his face is ... set differently from others, but often he doesn't acknowledge it. It's just his face after all! He does try to make himself appear more friendly sometimes by forcing himself to smile, but if usually backfires and makes him look like this. His real, geniune smile is actually somewhat pretty, but it almost nevers comes out.
Underneath his scary facade though, is a generally easygoing guy. He is very calm, and usually pretty happy. He definitely doesn't intentionally make himself scary looking; his attitude is rather placid and pleasant most of the time. His necromancer "father" was kind to him, but they don't have a real relationship. It's more like an employer and a boss. Still, the necromancer was never unkind to Sebastian, and always provided for him. Sebastian has no reason to be unhappy, most of the time. No tragic life story here, sorry.
For most confrontational situations, Sebastian is relatively unbiased. He doesn't really get argumentative, and isn't really the capricious type. He's laidback in most situations, never really asserting his own opinion. This isn't to say he doesn't have an opinion; on the contrary, he has quite a few, but he chooses to keep them inside. He is contented to play the neutral territory. When it comes to things that he truly loves, like his minipets or a ghoulfriend, he will definitely fight for them, but for the most part he tries to avoid confrontation.
In fact, Sebastian is a borderline pacifist. It comes from all the war that was going on in his past life. He doesn't like fighting if he doesn't have to, and attempts to work for peace. There are situations where he can be forced to fight (IE, A FREAKIN FLAMING HELLHORSE COMES TOWARDS YOU), but he definitely tries to solve things with his words, not his fists. Of course, for things like classes, or if someone really pisses him off he'll fight. He's not so much afraid of fighting as he is naturally inclined to working things out with words. He is a diplomat before he is a warrior.
That being said, Sebastian is also gallant. He is happiest when he is with girls, stereotypically, just because he shares more of the same interest: fashion, nail polish, sewing, those sort of things. He's very gentlemanly when it comes to girl, but doesn't really know how to act around boys. The whole "roughhousing" thing never really got across to him; instead of a football, he got fashion magazines. He gets along with girls far better than boys, and its pretty obvious. He holds open doors for girls, gets them wilted roses on their birthday, etc. It's not so much that he's uncomfortable around guys, it's just that he doesn't share any of the stereotypical interests. He really does want to make friends with them, but "have you seen the latest vogue fall fashions?" doesn't really make the best conversation starter with a bruteball player. It should also be said that he isn't flirty with girls- getting them roses on their birthday doesn't mean that he wants a relationship with them- he just thinks that's the sort of nice thing that friends do.
Sebastian also has a terrible habit of hiding himself under his hood or putting on a facade. When situations get too fickle for him, he'll simply slink away like a dog with its tail between its legs. Its not so much that he doesn't want to be social or have tons of interactions, but instead that too many things at once is overwhelming for him. He prefers to hide under his hood as a way to collect his thoughts and judge his actions carefully. Sebastian is the type to carefully think out each move before going into something, and his hood buys him that time to do so.
As for hobbies, Sebastian adores make up and fashion. He knows its rather unusual for a boy, but then, a lot of things are unusual for him. He constantly does his nails, and is always switching outfits. In fact, he feels rather naked and vulnerable if his nails aren't painted- partially to do with his fear, but also just as a natural personality quirk. Hidden underneath his bed are pads upon pads of outfit designs, but it's definitely no secret to anyone anymore. When he's designing or working on something, it's one of the only times you'll ever see him smile, and mean it. While fashion is his forte, he also appreciates other forms of design, such as architecture, interior designs, art forms and more.
As such, Sebastian knows how to sew, draw, pretty much anything that comes with fashion design. He isn't particularly good at one thing, but is more of a "jack of all trades" when it comes to fashion. This isn't to say he's an amazing designer, or that he's the best of the best. It's simply one of his passions, so he chases it. Sebastian is always ready to help others with fashion problems- if you even need an outfit designed or repaired, he'd be happy to help. Honestly, if it helps you imagine it better, he's basically like one of those designers you see on project runway!
Sebastian's speech is peppered with French, but he doesn't particularly know why he knows it. It's because he lived in France in the past, but he has no clue about that, of course. To provide a better image, it's sort of like how Maladore slips Italian into his speech. It mostly comes out when he's confused or embarrassed about something, like the way some people stutter when they're embarrassed. Though he hasn't had any experience with it, in the future he'll probably use it in the future romantically. After all, what teenager can resist sweet nothings in French?
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Though he will never tell Sebastian, Yorick is actually remarkably proud of Sebastian's progress to becoming an individual, and thus revealed to him one day that he should go to Amityville. Sebastian was delighted at the chance to please his "boss," and applied happily, if not in a somewhat bittersweet way. Generally, Sebastian wants to become scarier and get his passport. Nothing fabulously special. He also wants to improve his fashion skills; he aspires to be a great fashion designer for Halloween.
FEAR:
Overall: Sebastian channels his fear into his hands, and his nails grow sharp and long. He gets spikes along his back as well. They're sharp and don't break easily. He has the ability to shoot the spikes on his hand. His fear only works if his nails are painted though, for reasons he's not really aware of. Think Wolverine, but a lot shorter.
First year: Just spikes, nothing much more than that. Size varies because he can't really control his FEAR fabulously well. He can shoot the spikes, but not at extremely high velocities or anything. He also has pretty bad aim and control with them- they sometimes have plans of their own it seems.
Second Year: He now gets spikes growing up his hands, so his hands are sort of moving maces. Moar spikes = Moar projectiles. He's become a little better at aiming them, but you still get that occasional awkward flop.
Third Year: The spikes are now bigger yay. He now has adaquate control over his fear, and can channel it into the nail polish he's wearing, to form POISON-LINED SPIKES. Yaaaay. At this point he will be pretty accurate with his shots too. He still misses on occasion, but it's not nearly as bad as it was the previous two years.
Fun Fact!: the spikes are the same color as whatever nail polish he is wearing at the time. So if there is a pink flowery design on his nails, you will get pink flowery spikes. Manly.
Note: One the spikes have been launched it takes about 10 minutes to regrow, so it's not like he has the ability to endlessly shoot spikes. He only has about 5 on each hand for y1, and it will increase as he gets to y2-3. Another disadvantage is that he can't shoot the spikes on his back, only his hands.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Bright shiny blue. If it looks good, glowing every so slightly.
Hair Colour/Style: Something like these, deep black in color.

Skin Colour: He was european, so white/caucasian, but with the appropriate "corpse" feeling. A little bloody around his neck definitely! He can have maggots growing in him, and patches of decay; sort of like the corpse bride, but not as extreme! Definitely not as falling-apart-y as Happy.
Clothing Style/Colours: This. asdfjasdf that image is so perfect. The hoodie, black jeans, even the nail polish! The sweatband ... I just love everything about that image xD
Extra: REQUIRED Is a tie around his neck; it sort of keeps his head on! Other than that; He should have guyliner, and nail polish. He also has a big blue ring on his finger; the only thing left from his corpse.

History: Back during the French Revolution, a boy name Piers was wandering around Paris. He was an apprentice to a tailor, and living a normal life; nothing special, truly. Then one day, he was wrongfully accused of murder, and was killed at the guillotine. End of story. Eventually, he was buried, and forgotten. Time passed, he stayed in the ground. Maggots grew in his skin. Spiders crawled all over him. Little bugs nomnom'd on his skin. Fast forward to Halloween today. A necromancer, by the name of Yorick needed an assistant, so he raised Piers from the dead; of course, Piers couldn't remember his name, his feelings, nothing. All he has is the giant laceration on his throat, so he knows he was decapitated. He also knows French for some odd reason, so his speech is often peppered with it. Yorick was never abusive or cruel to his little assistant, so Sebastian has no reason to hate him. Still, they don't really have a father-son relationship- it's more like a nice boss and a faithful employee. Yorick never explained much to Sebastian though- he was always off working on some spell or raising some dead person and the like. He didn't have time to explain it to Sebastian- so Sebastian learned it on his own. "Piers" changed his name to Sebastian (or rather, he picked the name Sebastian for himself). He made his last name "LeBlanc" because it meant the white/blank (he read it in some text book). Dressed as someone in the late 1700s, he soon began to stand out quite a bit. He changed his clothes for new ones. He got interested in makeup. Realized fashion was fun. Very slowly, he's trying to become a new person. A person named Sebastian LeBlanc. He was happy with his necromancer for a while, but eventually Yorick decided that Sebastian should go to high school, get his passport, and make something out of his death. After all, an uneducated assistant is practically useless. Sebastian was flabberghasted and honored that his necromancer would choose him of all his little pets, but at the same time sad to leave him and everything he found comfortable. Regardless, he applied for Amity with a contented, non-beating heart and is now waiting to get in! Tidbits: Just some odd tidbits that I've picked up through rping him in the floresctival, or other manners. - He is completely unsettled by the color purple, but not sure why. - His biggest fear is doing something so horrible, or causing something so terrible that it would cause Yorick to undo his spell/kill Sebastian. He also hates the idea of not being needed/useful anymore, which comes with the fear. - Ghost minipets seem to flock to him in droves, though he's really not sure why. - Sebastian is unnaturally attracted to animals/minipets. Sometimes he likes their company more than people (though not always!) - No cooking skill whatsoever. He's an undead, so he's never really had to. He'll gladly throw things into a bowl and call it dinner for you. Minipets: REDOING, PLS DUN LOOK.  Richter: A fickle little corrividus who seems to float down onto Sebastian's shoulder when he pleases. Sebastian honestly can't tell if the crow likes him or not, but it keeps coming back, so it must, right? The Fish Tank: Ever since the floresctival, Sebastian has been a bit ... obsessed with ... fishy friends.

More questions than crits, sooo~
How does he feel about relationships? Is he at ease around someone who likes him? Someone he likes? Besides the touching thing, of course. How would he show his affection instead? (BEAUTIFUL SWEET NOTHINGS IN FRENCH YES)
Does he dislike or feel weird about any other type of Halloween inhabitant? I'm thinking of awkward meetings or rivalries that could arise for plotting.
Anyway, no complaints here, just curiosity! :3 I think he sounds very interesting.

SWEET NOTHINGS IN FRENCH FOREVER He does little things like bringing dead roses, sewing outfits and shirts.
BUT, if he was truly romantic with someone, he would try to work over his "disability"
like if there was someone he loved, he wouldnt just go "okay now lets kiss and make out," but he would try to force himself to hold hands and cute little things like that ; u ;
he definitely dislikes the warring, rowdy types; flashbacks to the french revolution and all xD
fire types obviously, since he's undead
sharp objects like blades and axes = oh god no.

I like his personality, and that he doesn't have anything extraordinary about his past. All in all, he seems pretty well thought out. I can;t wait to see where you take him.

The name of his natural ability made me snicker.
Personality:
Is the reason he always looks grumpy because of well lack of better words beheading? I ask because it seem like he would wear a more relaxed face instead because of his personality.
I see how he would be laid back and find it to be really cute how he is into girly things.
Also does he know that he was in jail and beaten? Or is it that he just feels that he can't be touched and not know why.
I love his hobbies I could see Nahoa bothering him to make him clothes.
Fear:
Some things that came to mind when I saw it. You said he has his on little rift where he can pull things out of.
How about putting things in... like a person's fear attack or part of them weapon having it reappear behind him or something?
Also how many items can he pull out? How long can it stay open? How big are the items?
I also think that his first year seems a bit weak. Won't putting on the actual armor take longer than opening the rift? Does it take a large amount of concentration to open it or is it like snapping his fingers to him?
Sorry for all the questions I hope it was of some help.

just a few comments...
OMG i remember i read about that story (he's based off of) when I was in 2nd grade, and i was scared of everything for weeks. dunno why LOL i guess that story creeped me out so badly xD
I love the new name change! Sebastian has more of a unique sound to it. He seems like such a sweet and charming guy with a touch of femmy xD (not a bad thing) and a slight french accent? yum 8D
I'd love to see what he'd do if he fell in love with someone, how he would react and what he would do to get their attention
as for his fear, I think it's unique but does it have any affect in battle? i assume it's more of a +defense kind of move xD

nope! he has no control over his face whatsoever. he's not purposely looking grumpy or brooding. It's like be born with a mole on your face; you didn't purposely put that mole on your face, you were just born that way. Same way with seb. he was just born with a scary looking face xD

i definitely dont want his fear to involve weapons if i can help it; i think its overlapping with the reaper class far too much o 3o
he can only pull out one or two; think about it like this. you have a closet in battle behind you. how many items could you grab out while a person is running straight towards you, ready to attack? He literally has to pull it out of the rift, so it takes some time :3
it cant stay open long. it just appears for a moment then disappears. the items' size varies; he has to "stock" the closet himself, but often doesnt because hes a bit of a pacifist, or at least, he tries to be!
no that was great! i got a lot out of it, including a new trait * u * /skitters off to type
@scy: RIGHT! i read it in a book of scary stories, it was always my favorite, but i didnt wear necklaces for like a week! xD

Oh man Naoha would abuse that and it is possible to see Mo gush with him over fashion.
I see but doesn't the closet itself seem like a better defense. Even having him disappear into it for a while would kill the fight a bit. Since placing the armor would take a while.

Okay, reworked critique time. 8D
Scary face - Though it helps with the whole "fear, scary monster, fear me" thing, does he have any negative feelings to how his face seems to be set? Does he find that it hinders him from making friends, or generally approaching people or allowing him to approach them? Is there any little tricks and such he finds helps with allowing him to seem less angry or scary? I know with some characters when he appear generally mean and scary they sometimes have some kind of negative feel towards or, or they just generally embrace it and use it to their advantage. Besides its use in his air of fear I just want to know how he feels about it in everyday sitations.
Non confrontational - You say, if it can be helped, Sebastian would rather fight with words than fists, and will only really fight when it comes to protecting others, or a random creature charging to attack.
Does he however has random moments where he breaks away from his peaceful nature, say if he is pushed too far, all the wrong buttons are pushed, or if others try to gang up on him? Or would that just be a moment where he refuses to raise his fists and allows them to just beat down on him?
I guess this would also apply to his need to avoid being touched. Does his inner freak out moment ever erupt outside is someone is refusing to let go? XD
Boys - Uncomfortable with boys, hm? How would be feel and act if he was in the company of other guys, like maybe he was partnered with a guy, or group of guys, for a class project, or stranded with a group of guys after an accident. I know usually he could choose to avoid male company if needed, or just choose to do small talk and move on, but what if it can't be avoided? Would it be any different if he ran in to a shy guy, or a guy who is feminine like himself? Or is it all the same for him?
