 Floarea watched her companion sunbathing in the grassy meadow and shook her head indulgently. Wandering over to the lion, she nipped at his tail to gain his attention. "I'm going for a quick walk. I wont be long, so enjoy your nap, dear."Tsuna yawned and scented at the air. "Alright. There's a couple of other soqs in the area. Yell if you need any help." The lion mumbled as he curled up and went back to sleep.Smiling to herself, the mare stepped out of the meadow and into the light spattering of trees. So there were a couple of others around? She wouldn't mind running into a bit of company. Humming softly to herself, she made her way down the shady path.

 Silas was currently wandering and looking about him in interest. He primarily dwelled in some caves by the ocean with his family, but what was the point of having wings if one couldn't fly around and visit new places from time to time? He knew it made his mother worry, but Silas had always come back from each trip he took.
As he'd been flying this time he thought the terrain looked interesting and beautiful. He needed to rest his wings and find something to eat and drink anyway, so this seemed as good a place as any. Perhaps it would have been wiser to wait and scan the area first for dangers, but Silas really was tired...

Having stopped at a small creek, Floarea's ears twitched back as she heard someone approaching her from the way she had just come. Pausing, she wondered why Tsuna hadn't called out to her then smiled, figuring he was so tired he probably hadn't even noticed the arrival. Turning, Floarea smiled and waited to see who the new arrival was, and if they were friendly.

Silas' ears flicked backward in annoyance. He could see why his parents had stuck around the ocean. Betsides having to navigate around the occasional clutch of trees too thick for his bulk to pass through, he also had to fight through undergrowth. Maybe if he hadn't been quite so tired to begin with then all of this wouldn't seem as bad, but as things stood right now...
That's why Silas was very glad to stumble into a zone free of trees, with the burbling of water to soothe his ears. Not anywhere close to the standards of the noise the ocean made, but he'd take what he could get here. A split second later, though, Silas noticed he had company.
The mare was a mixture of white and soft blues, with a few highlights of orange. She had a long, flowing mane, which looked even longer in comparison to her short tail. Silas blinked, momentarily confused, then a glance down at her hooves cleared some of that up. She must be a cerynei, though this was his first time seeing one.
Silas cleared his throat self-consciously. "Ah, hello."

A male alicorn appeared from behind a tree and Floarea blinked in surprise. He was so dark that he nearly faded into the soft shadows under the trees, though his markings, horn, and the tips of his hair ruined the effect just a little. The male's star-studded hide was awfully pretty and Flo had to stop herself from staring.
"Hello. I haven't seen you around these parts before. Are you new? Or just passing through?" She asked, stepping aside to allow him easy access to the stream. Now that she wasn't staring at his pretty markings, she could see that he was looking a little tired.

"Passing through, mostly," Silas replied with a small, self-conscious smile. "Usually I live near the ocean." He took the offered space and stepped up to the river bank, actually taking a couple steps into the water so that it washed over his dark hooves, and lowered his head to get a quick drink.
Thirst sated, Silas backed up a bit and turned his attention back to the mare. "I apologize if I'm intruding on anything, I thought this territory was vacant," he said, tucking his wings close to his body in slight embarassment.

"Ah. The coast is lovely, but the climate does tend to the cool side...at least the area I visited. This is a nice place to stop. It's very peaceful." Floarea replied, stopping to take a drink for herself too. She lifted her head, though, when he spoke to her again.
Flo shook her head. "You're not intruding. As far as I know, only the territory further north, where the trees get thicker, is occupied. The Cerynei herd is over there, but this area's free as far as I know." She said kindly, noting his stance. "I merely like to visit because, as I said, it's peaceful."

Silas looked thoughtful. "I suppose the coast can get cold, depending on where you're from. It always seemed to stay at around the same temperature to me, or at least the temperature differences that come with the seasons didn't seem all that different."
He spent a few more moments thinking along that vein, when it occured to him that he was probably being rude. His ears flicked a bit to the side and his brow crumpled in an apologetic way. He cleared his throat, using it to buy time to think of what to say.
"Ah, sorry for spacing out like that. And I really should have introduced myself to being with. My name is Silas."
