The evening was lovely to Rajara. She had been sitting under a tree all afternoon, and now that the sun was setting, it was time to wonder a bit. Her necklace felt heavy today around her neck, though she didn't pay any attention to it. She had just gotten it, and had to get use to it after all. It looked lovely on her, after all.

She signed at the land in front of her. It was so pretty. Orange was painted a cross everything, or at least that's what it seemed with the setting sun. She loved it, and didn't mind showing it. She had a huge smile across her face. Today was a great day, nothing could change that. At least, not for her. With taking a deep breath she started walking. Letting her feet carry her where ever they wanted to go. She looked back only once, to peek upon the tree that had been her home for the day. "Bye bye, Lovely tree!" She said before looking back ahead of her.

What would the night bring? She hoped happy things. She loved traveling at night, mostly only because it was cooler than the summer days. The heat of the day made her tired and not wanting to do anything at all. Even hunting seemed to be a pain during the day.

User ImageThey say the worst of the worst, the scum of the Earth, the monsters that prowl within the shadows of death and darkness are the ones that appear with the setting of the sun, and Kojo was no exception to these claims. He was, after all, a bit insane, a tad mentally unstable, but that did not stop him from being intelligent in his own right. Intelligent in what was the mystery of it all, and only a chosen few ever got to know, but few of those few would ever have a chance to tell their tale.

With a twisted little smile on his pale face, Kojo silently stalked through the grass, his eyes set upon the lioness before him. He has caught sight of her just a few moments before, but decided it to be best to stay hidden until she moved. He didn't really know why he want to follow her, but his mind told him to do so, so he did.

Maybe it was his blue fur. Maybe it was her gray-purplish eyes. Maybe it was that lovely little heart shaped marking he wanted to break apart. Maybe it was the necklace. Who know. Whatever he wanted, he wanted it, and he would get it one way or another. He just had to keep stalking, right?

Well he couldn't very much finish answer that question himself. Just as he was waking up from his chain of thoughts and questions he looked up to watch himself run in to a tree.

"For the love of all the-! Grn!"

Rajara heard something. Stopping completely, she turned around to see a tree. Well, that wasn't so strange, she had just left that tree. Though, there was something else there she hadn't expected. A lion. His mane was almost the same shade of blue as her fur. "Are... are you okay?" She asked him as she started to take a step towards him. She didn't want him to be hurt.

"Why did you run into that tree?" Of course that really wasn't a smart question, but then again she wasn't the sharpest arrow in the bunch. It seemed kinda silly someone would walk into a tree. Then again, she tripped over rocks all the time. But the rocks she tripped over weren't quite as big as a tree. They couldn't really sneak up on you like rocks could. She moved even closer to him.

Of course, she was very unaware that he could be very dangerous. To her, everyone was good, even if they didn't act it on the surface. "What are you doing anyways?" She asked again. She couldn't stop herself from asking questions sometimes. Even if they could find her in more trouble then if she just kept her mouth opened. Perhaps she could help him. Her ears flicked forward as she stopped near the tree to look at him better.

'Smooth Kojo, real smooth. You sure are a smooth criminal. Mmmhm. Such a shadow in the night, you moron! How the hell do you expect to stalk her now, huh!?'

Shaking his head, Kojo growled at the voice in his head. While annoying, he, it...whatever the voice was, had a point. He was supposed to be sly. He was supposed to be a hunter, and yet, he managed to run in to a tree of all things and give away his location. There wasn't much to do now but salvage what he could be the situation. At least salvage it once the worth stopped spinning and his head stopped throbbing with pain.

"I-I'm fine! What do you think I am; a cub? I am perfectly capable of managing my own accidents!"

Trying to act as if running in to a tree was normal and all a part of his plan, Kojo took a few stumbling steps forward and managed a face plant right in to the ground.

'...You REALLY are an imbecile, Kojo. You really are. It's amazing you can even get the simplest orders done. Just keeping acting stupid and maybe you can get on her good side and get the job done. Can you manage that? You got the stupid down to a T.'

"What am I doing?" he gave a small whimper and attempted to get back on to his feet. "Obviously I am just wandering around and happened to come across you, Miss. I didn't know how to approach you, so I just decided to...follow you for a while. Yes, that's it. Follow you. What are YOU doing though? Hm? Didn't you mother ever tell you that not all strangers are safe to approach?"

She gasped as he fell back to the ground. "You're not okay!" She said with a worried voice. Of course, she'd never met him before, but he was still someone that was hurt. She cared about everyone, maybe more then she should. "Don't try to move again." She said as she came closer to him, her paw inches from him Though, she was still cautious. She had been hurt before by a lion who didn't want her help. "And I'd never think you as a cub, just running into a tree can hurt adults as much as cubs. I know" She said.

She had ran into her fair share of trees when not paying attention. She had no problem with sharing that with anyone. Especially a male who had done it when he wasn't alone. She bet that he felt really embarrassed about it. "Now if you don't stay down for at least a few moments, you could hurt yourself more." She spoke with a bit of stirness in her voice.

"Following me?" She asked herself more then anything. She'd never had anyone follow her. "No, I was raised by only my father." She told him "And he told me to help those who need it." She continued, "I do believe you do. And that good sir, is what I'm going to do." She added. "And I can take care of myself." She wasn't much of a fighter, and hell couldn't really defend her self if she needed to, but she could run, and climb... sort of.

'This is going to be too easy, Kojo. Way to easy. You might as well have a bit of fun with her before striking though. No point in rushing in to thing after all, ...like you rushed right in to the tree, idiot.'

Smirking, Kojo did he best to keep a calm composure and not answer to the need that was currently gnawing at his instincts. Just a bite. A small bite. That wouldn't be too much to ask for, to go for, right? No. He would have to wait. Just wait. Attacking now would just ruin the experience. Though, he had to admit the thought of nommong on one of those legs was pretty tempting.

"Oh? Your father sounds like a find figure then, if he would teach you such a thing. Though, noble acts of kindness do come at a price, depending on who you run in to. If you really want to bother with helping a lowly guy like me out, then I guess I won't deny a helping paw."

A light chuckle escaped from Kojo's lips as he did his best to lay as still as possible. It was just one of those things that was easier said, than done.

"And yes, like I said, I was following you. Nothing creepy intended, but something about just caught my interest, so I decided to just follow and see where you were headed to. It's not like I have anything better to do, or anyone to go home to. Really, it would be a nice way to waste my time."

He seemed like a nice fellow, she decided. She eased up a bit. She sat next to him and placed a paw on his head to check for any damages. Of course, she didn't notice anything at all. Not one thing. Didn't notice that she was in more danger than she had ever realized, or been in. "He is quite the fellow." She nodded as she listened to him. She felt bad for him. Not having anyone to go home to. Of course, now that she was an adult, she was the same way. Though, that didn't even pop into her mind. They were with her always, her family, right in her heart.

" Does this hurt?" She asked as she poked at the top of his head where he might have hit himself. He didn't seem like he did too much damage. "I think you can stand up now." It had been a few moments, and he didn't seem like he was having too much of a problem. Though, she knew if he did any fast movements, it would make him dizzy. "I'm really not worried about running into trouble." She told him honestly. "If life wishes I do, then I will." She didn't think about what was going to happen. She thought in the moments of what was happening.

"And I'm sorry that you have no home, you can stay around me as long as you'd like. " She smiled at him kindly. She was so easily fooled, so easily tricked.

Though Kojo did not sustain any major damage of any kind, he could not ignore the fact that the area of impact was a bit sore to the touch. However, when the lioness touched the top of his head he did little more than just twitch his ears at the stinging sensation. He had been through worse before, so he wasn't going to let a stupid thing like running in to a tree slow him down.

"Oh?"

Slowly sitting up, Kojo slowly tilted his head at her offer of a place to go. On one hand it would really gave him a place to stay for the night and allow him to keep a closer eye on her. On the other paw though, it meant holding back on his plans for a bit longer.

'Take it! Take the offer! Take it before she takes it back!'

"Are you sure? I really wouldn't want to intrude, especially since you don't really know me. But if you're really okay with such a thing, then I suppose it wouldn't hurt to stay awhile..."

She backed up a bit to give him a little room with a smile on her face. "Don't be silly!" she said with a small giggle. "It'd be no intrusion at all, or I wouldn't have offered." Her tail flicked about for only a moment. More like an excitement thing, than anything else. Of course, she saw no warnings of his true intentions. She just thought he was a nice guy that needed a little help.

"You have a kinda big bump, but It'll go away in a few days." She said from experience. She didn't have to add that part. She knew it would be a bruise, though it wasn't like anyone else would be able to see it. Which was the best part about having fur. "I don't really have a place, but I can find a good cave for us, or a nice bunch of trees?" She said with a sweet smile. She was far too kind sometimes.
