She was at the reaper dorms again, except she wasn't sure what she was doing here. It was just... A trip to the reaper dorms. No real reason for her visit. Then again, when did she ever need a reason? Still, she found herself walking up the steps and towards that familiar corridor, counting down the familiar number on each door until she arrived at a particular one. While she would normally bother his neighbor, she wasn't sure why she decided not to tonight.
Well, at least for now anyway.
"Mot, you in?" She called softly after a short pause, knocking at his door before taking a step back, running her fingers through her hair and then smoothing out the creases on her dress as she waited, "It's Lizzy..."

It was a day like any other. Or at least it might have been if not for a spiteful mini-pet who did not get quite as many fear candies as it would have liked. Yes, this cute little face hides the soul of a thief. It waited for Mot to take a shower, a time when he is without his hat. The puffy ball of dreamdust nudged the door open, prancing in and taking the hat from Mot`s pile of clothing on the floor. It then yipped and made a mad dash for the minipet closet, hat in mouth, and disappeared. . . . "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" Not too long after Lizzy started knocking, Mot had discovered his hat had gone missing. His pants were quickly shoved on, halfheartedly done up, and shirt thrown on without even buttoning it up all the way. His hair was soaked, dripping all over the place as he ran around tearing his room apart. "W-where is it.. where... is... where..." Mot never usually locked his door, so when he went running by it, not hearing Lizzy's call, it creaked open on its own.

Was that yelling coming from the other side of the door? She frowned, hand raised for the door knob, only to realize that the door had opened; did Mot open it, by any chance? She paused, hesitating for a moment before swinging it open with a "Sorry for the intrusion!"
Except it sounded more like "Sorry for the intru- MOT. SHIRT."
The return of the attack on SUDDENLY MAN CHEST. Just when she thought she was safe... Blushing, she tried her best not to appear too shocked (even though she was pretty 'shocked') at how terrible the boil looked; his wet hair was dripping water everywhere! His shirt was not buttoned... Well, at least his pants were up? Her frown deepened, "Come here, you! What happened?"
Ignore the blush on her cheeks please.

Once Lizzy's screeched out his name, Mot finally took notice, and stopped running like a chicken with its head cut off. Part of him was wondering why she seemed flustered, but the other part was slowly realizing she could now see his face. No hat. No. Hat.
SADFACE.
Mot frowned, walking over to Lizzy since she had beckoned him over. "Uh.. well..." He stammered, a hand moving to play with his bangs. "I.. lost my hat.."

Awwww. A small part of her, the part that wasn't panicking over the SUDDENLY MAN CHEST, was going 'Fluffy is adorable'. Since most of her was focused on the more pressing matter, however, when he was near enough, she started buttoning his shirt for him, working really quickly. Being careful not to stare. Or rather, being careful not to be caught staring; it's difficult not to look when she was... Well, helping him button up his shirt.
"Your hat?" She looked up when she was done, face still red, as she realized that Mot didn't have his hat on him; ohhh, so that's what different about him tonight! She reached up, patting him on his wet hair.
"Aw... Uh, well, where did you put it? And... Towel please?"

Mot bewilderdly heard what Lizzy was saying to him, nodding. "Yeah.. hat." At her question he waved his hand toward the bathroom, heading there himself.
Once inside the still steaming bathroom, he pointed to the chaps and socks still folded on the floor. "I left it there. But when I got out of the shower it was gone.. I.." Mot seemed very unlike his usual self, soulless, or perhaps just epicly distraught. His hat seemed to be a part of who he was.
Though, if one were to look through the clearing steam, a clue would come about. Tiny little dirty paw prints led away from the pile of clothes, and disappeared into the now disaster struck bedroom of Mot.

Peeking into the bathroom, Lizzy eyed the piled of clothing on the ground. She wasn't sure she should be looking through a boil's discarded clothing, especially if it was on the ground. That was... An invasion of privacy? It was actually rather embarrassing! However, she didn't need to touch it to realize that yes, there was no hat among that small pile of clothing... The tiny paw prints might have escaped Mot's notice (in his current state, maybe), but she noticed the way they led out of the bathroom and to Mot's room.
After grabbing a towel that was hanging inside (hopefully it was a clean one), she tossed it over the boil's head and dragged him over to his bed, forcing him to sit down by tugging on his arm. After hesitating for a moment, she stopped to stand in front of him, drying his hair for him with the towel she had earlier thrown over him.
"Before I jump to conclusions, do you happen to have some sort of... Small canine minipet in your room?"

Why was it suddenly dark? Did his hat come back? Oh, no. It was a towel. Still, the comfort of something on his head was there. Mot was dragged to his bed, where he sat down after being tugged to do so, making himself more at eye level with the demoness. Soon after, his hair was being dried for him. "Wow. What service." He commented with as much Mot gusto as he could manage in his current mood.
Mot quirked a brow at her question, not yet putting two and two together. "Yeah. A white foxfire named FooFoo. Why?" Did he just say its name was FoooFoo? Without so much as a stutter? Seems he did.

"You're very welcome," She couldn't resist smiling as she lifted the towel up and patted him on the top of his head, "Much better!" It was still damp, but at least it wasn't dripping and causing his shirt to get wet! Not quite sure where to put the towel, she moved back to the bathroom and tossed it back where she found it before returning to Mot's side, sitting down next to him on his bed.
It was a good thing he was speaking to a ghoul, or the name FooFoo might have prompted more than just a giggle from her.
... Okay, maybe it promoted more than just a giggle from her, although she wasn't being mean. After all, what did she expect from a boil who didn't mind playing along with her and agreeing to being called Fluffy?
"I think this FooFoo might have taken your hat," She nodded before pointing at the paw prints leading out the bathroom, "Probably while you were showering."

Mot gave a thumbs up after her hair drying at been completed. The pat on the head was a nice added bonus, though the boil began fidgeting with his bangs soon after, feeling naked without his hat, he tried to keep as much hair in his face as possible.
The giggle was noted, though Mot just smiled. The name was for fun, and he expected a laugh or two.
"You think so? Huh..." Why would FooFoo do that? Mot did not understand.
Meanwhile, an evil foxfire waited... watched...

"Aw, don't do that!" She probably sounded like an owner scolding her pet right now, as she swatted gently at Mot's hands, brushing his bangs away to not cover his face, although they still sort of fall over his face. She was surprised, initially, at the dark circles under his eyes (needs more sleep?) but she soon smiled, raising an eyebrow, "So you've been hiding this under your hat all this time? I should have made you taken if off sooner."
She might had just gestured to all of his face.
"It's just guesswork," She nodded, staring at the paw prints on the floor before looking at Mot again, "We might have to track FooFoo down to find out for sure... At least I didn't see a minipet dart out the door when I came, so it should still be in your room!"

Mot's hand flew from his face when he was swatted at, settling them on his knees instead. At first he kept his head down somewhat in an attempt to hide, but Lizzy being Lizzy, it didn't work. He looked up at her as she made her statement, looking honestly befuddled and surprised, his eyes wider than usual, though anything usual about his eyes was previously unknown due to the hat. "Really?" He raised a brow. "Why? Like what you see?" He said with a smirk, asserting that Mot confidence again.
He still wanted his hat though.
So, FooFoo was here somewhere. In his rampage, he was sure the pet was nowhere in the actual bedroom. Mot looked toward his window, which was open just a crack, not enough for a foxfire to slip through. That left one option. "Maybe he retreated to the closet." Mot stood up, eyeing the closet.
As if on cue, a furry white face peeked out from the closet, a familiar black hat in its maw. Mot stared, and stared... "You little rat..."

"Really," She replied firmly, giving a nod before blushing slightly at his next comment, her cheeks turning a faint shade of red. After a moment's pause, she finally replied with a simple "Yes" before grinning, trying to sweep Mot's bangs out of his eyes again, although they just seem to flop back down, "Besides, eyes are very expressive~ Window to the soul and whatnot!"
When he stood up and looked at his closet, she remained seated, although her body was turned to look at the closet as well. When the Foxfire appeared, she 'D'awwww'ed' at how adorable it looked before hopping off the bed and pointing at the minipet in a rather dramatic manner.
"Time to catch us a FooFoo!" How they were going to do it, however, was a question she had yet to find an answer to... Well, at least it probably can't escape from the room, right?

Mot smirked, clearly having won. Lizzy liked what she saw. Fantastic. "Expressive? Yes, I suppose." Mot tilted his head in thought. "Maybe thats why I like the hat? I prefer to be mysterious."
The foxfire sensed danger, and it yipped in protest. it would not be caught! If anyone thought it was not capable of escaping, they had another thing coming. The little ball of fur raced toward the pair, looking as though it was simply running to be embraced. Mot knelt to catch the critter, but was instead used as a leaping post to get to the window sill.
Mot looked back, seeing the creature back toward the open window, pushing it open further. Mot steadied his hands out, looking nervous, his now exposed features showing just how unnerved he was. "H-hey now.. lets not be rash buddy.."

"A mysterious cowboil?" She raised an eye brow before giggling, shaking her head, "I don't understand you boils... Well, there's no need to be mysterious around me, yes? I like looking at your eyes!" She nodded, and looked like she was going to say something else when the foxfire came their way in the most adorable way imaginable...
... Too bad it slipped right past them, so no cuddles were had.
Staring at FooFoo, so close to escaping to the outside world with Mot's beloved hat, she frowned, her hand slowly reaching into her bag to pull out minipet treats sealed in a transparent bag - chewy meat strips she normally carried around for DC, in case she decided to drop by Amrita's room. Maybe Foxfires would like them too?
"Would you like this, FooFoo?" She opened the bag before squatting down, grabbing one of the treats from the bag and holding it out in her hand as she lifted her head, looking at the minipet at the window.
