The Third Chorus has an Extra Verse...STARTING SOON STILL WORKING ON UPDATING STUFF Rules of Entry- Please do not enter if you plan on: not having at least minor RP with Heavy Plotting, Grabbing and running from Soquili, or just using them souly as Breeding Stock (you can make them non-lifematey, but doing nothing but using them JUST to get more soquili is frowned upon). This is a family close to our hearts. While we cannot do anything if you lie about your interest and do any of these things, this WILL likely effect the likelihood of other RP Contests being held by Mindsend or Leo in the future for baskets in other pairings. -You are welcome to enter for Both baskets, however you can only win one. - You're welcome to edit your entries up until the contest closes - If you apply for both offspring, please keep your Mecho!Melody submissions on a Single post. - we Don't mind if you win one of Nerpin's baskets, and it doesn't remove your chances to win a Mecho!Melody basket, however you need to follow Nerpin's rules as well if you enter for all of them. - Please keep Submissions for Josephine!Able Breedings in a separate post from the Melody Forte!Mecho Amachi submissions. - The Mockbreeding does NOT count against your customs or your custom cooldown (Only counts against Mindsend). You do not get any say in the resulting offspring's appearance. - The baskets behave just like a normal basket gifted to you would, and WILL NOT COUNT against any official soquili cooldowns (Custom, Breeding, Freebie etc) Prompt! A little Bit of Information: The First Leap: A right of passage - When foals of the Badawie Badieh (Mecho's old herd) reached their first year of age, they are sent out on a journey away from their parents/the nursery herd with either an elder member of the Clan, a godparent, or some other protector that is not their parents, to find and bring back something they could not get from home, and earn their Second Bell (The first one being given to them at birth) - NOTICE: The "item" doesnt have to be a tangible item, but could be a bit of wisdom, a story, a dance, or even simply a lesson they learned on their own. Prompt (Unisex): You're on your quest to Earn your second bell, Your first step towards greater independence! You barely got to go on it, considering how protective your parents are. Its a great adventure... However, at the moment, it might be a bit scary, as you've managed to get separated from your Guardian. You're still only about the equivalent of ten or eleven years old, and this is your first time being truly alone. How do you respond to this separation? Who was your Guardian? How do you get back to them? Do you find your something to earn your Second Bell during this time, and If so, what is it, and what do you think it represents for your future?

Herd 'objective' is to protect and give a home to outcasts and those who are considered taboo by others but are good people, if misunderstood, as well as be open to anyone who is a good enough person: Not willing to torment others or kill other soquili. Must not torture prey, even if hunters -- kills should be quick, clean, and respectful to the prey. For more Information, please visit the main threadSome of their eldest members have gone off a wandering/are no longer around the herd that often since they spend their time traveling with their lifemates, so instead we're talking about the family they WILL be around. 
-Mecho Amachi: Father- (mind)Originally a bit selfish, having been separated from his herd and spending his life looking out for number one, Mecho has since grown with the loss (And return) of Melody and having a family to think about. He's still an active trader, traveling the MainLands with wares gathered from various locations of the Kawani lands, and even trades them with Acotas, a native two legger (Using a very rudimentary method of stamping hooves and the native adding and subtracting things until they come to an agreeable amount) in exchange for items for soquili not wishing to deal with the humans. 
-Melody Forte: Mother- (Leo)After suffering Postpartum depression after her first breeding, Melody was almost lost to the Amachi family, having left Mecho and the Baskets behind to go find herself, and to flee from the fear of doing something wrong, resulting in the hurting of her foals. However, after Two and a Half years, separate with no way to find where the other was, she found one of her children, and her way home. After that incident, the mare has been a devoted (And at times over protective) Mother for her second set of foals.  -Farruca Amachi: Middle, elder sister- (mind) Farruca Amachi was born in Mecho and Melody's second breeding, and was only in her second year when her mother became pregnant again, not too long before she went out on an escorted journey to earn her second bell. The girl returns from her childhood journey only to find her triumphant return somewhat crimped by a VERY pregnant mother getting ready to give birth to little siblings. -Baroque Amachi: Middle, elder Brother- (Leo) Baroque was a surprise when he first spread his wings from the basket, having taken after a Great Grandfather on his fathers side.  -Cuauhcoatl: Godfather- (mind) Cuauhcoatl is the Angeni of Learning, and is not only the future foals Godfather, but also one of their teachers, teaching them as much as they are willing to learn. He's Lifemated to Ikinya. -Ikinya: Godmother- (Tiro) Lifemate to Cuauhcoatl, this spunky Usdia has a heart bigger than her body and a driven desire to love and protect all the children in her herd.  -Mezzo Amachi: Basketmate and brother- (mind) Second Son of Breeding. Basket Shifts often for a good chunk of the day, as if anxious to get out and moving. -??? Amachi: Basketmate and Sister- (Leo) Third Child and eldest daughter of Breeding. Basket Shifts often for a good chunk of the day, as if anxious to get out and moving.

RP REQUIREMENTS -Kids are Traditionally given Music and Dance inspired first names from Melody's side of the Family - The Amachi Name passes from Mecho's side of the Family - NO EVIL OR BIGOTED KIDS: They're being raised in a herd environment that promotes kindness, sharing, and being accepting of other people and cultures (as long as their culture isn't killing and eating other soquili on a regular basis.) - Please do not enter if you plan on: not having at least minor RP with Heavy Plotting, Grabbing and running from Soquili, or just using them souly as Breeding Stock (you can make them non-lifematey, but doing nothing but using them JUST to get more soquili is frowned upon). This is a family close to our hearts. - Please do not enter if you plan on: You don't at least try to rp lightly and/or heavily plot on the sidelines. I know I'm not the BEST rper, but this little familiy is pretty near/dear to me. I find them just adorable. Please don't use this as a walking uterus (since the girls are left.) Decide to leave soq after winning the girls, or disappearing without letting me know at least? C:

Described as a demon of the mind, Able has always been raised in the folds
of his mother's wing, Able's sanity is firmly entact, but his ego is a little shaken, he
leans on Josephine for a mental crutch. A little short minded and insecure, he
is not sure how he'll be as a father, but hopes that he can be there, for his kids
through the thick, thin and sleeping times. His eyesight is also attrocious, and
he is sometimes stricken for blood due to Caine's bloodline, but ultimately, he's
easy to get along with. (When he's not an emotional fit.)

Raised as a fair lady, Jos is kind and soft-spoken, with a small air of regality
about her. With two very slow going parents, it didn't take long for her to strike
out on her own, bumping into Able along the way as a youth. Friendship
struck as easily as her sleeping spells, and she's been beside him ever since. She
falls asleep easily - a victim of narcolepsy, and sometimes believes that her
reality is just a walking dream, those who she knows well wisps of her mind.
To her, Able is like the monster who took the fair maiden away on wings.

The children's dear grandmother, and a bit of a case to begin with. The third
daughter of the proud Reaper, she was born shattered, split in to two different
personalities, different minds and souls in one body, neither of them fully in control.
"Valentine", the sweet and slightly more dominent part, is the mother Able knows,
but not the mare that she recalls having him, and is sometimes split about raising him,
even if deep down she knows he is hers.
Elated to be a grandmother, knowing what her dear father has now felt a plethora times
before, she's hoping to be in their lives, as much as she can, and to push away
any deeper emotions, dark emotions, that her dark side, "Sabriel", tries to put through.

Eldest; The Son; Not much is known about this basket, except that it seems
to be the only boy of the rather large collection of foals. Sleeps heavily,
sometimes a little unnaturally.
[Thalion]
Third; A Daughter; Not much is known about this basket, but she sleeps
soundlessly, dreaming the days ahead.

RP REQUIREMENTS
- No real traditional naming scheme: I've been naming the kids on Able's side after Genesis names . . spelt funny; Caine (Meeki) and Able, who has Sethe, and Jenesis. There is no legit surname for the family; Valentine isn't it xD;.
- They will be raised in a . . . broken . . . but still loving and warm family, but can lend to .. slight twisted kids. Reaper's line isn't evil, persay, just a little misguided. You're welcome to play with that, but please, no pure evil children. Sabs wouldn't be able to handle a pure evil grandchild, it would break her sweet personality.
