It happened while walking in the hallway talking to Malodore in the cafeteria.
Amrita spotted someone she hadn't really seen in a long, long time...and somebody she had always wanted to say hi to, but never had the courage or luck finding. But, at long last...her time came. She spotted her Hero, the Undead that was unafraid of fire, who held her own back in Christmastown when their door was burning.
Sammy.
The ghoul had walked past her in the hallway near her in the cafeteria and Amrita, who had been heading to something probably important talking to Malodore, turned on her toes pushed through the crowd (stumbled into a Mummy creature in the process of her wide u-turn), and started following her Hero. The halls were too crowded to call out - and what if she got her Hero's name wrong?! THAT WOULD JUST BE EMBARRASSING - so stalking seemed the best option. The brave Undead was followed by a child whose expression could really only be described as *A*.
Amrita followed her everywhere at a distance, mostly because Sammy's steps were much wider than hers; and since then the crowd had dispersed. Soon enough it was just the two Undeads, the Vetala following the Zombie. Apparently she forgot that actually TALKING to said Hero would probably be a good idea.

Sammy was wandering back from class, un-life as usual in a solid routine, she waved to a few friends in the hall, paused to even speak to Carry just to rub it in a few other demon's faces. Yes she was friends with the Pride demon, deal with it. She teased Shehk in a FEARleading outfit getting a swat to the head from the other ghoul before moving on with a laugh. At one point she stopped again to chat with Riley a few wild gestures past between them, an eye roll from Riley and a dismissive wave as Sammy walked away again chuckling.
For being an upstart living in the demon dorms, Sammy knew a fair number of interesting people in the school, though she had lost some of her 'FIRE IS NOTHING TO ME' (Thanks to the Deathcharm who roasted her and Tahki at the hot spring.) she was still every inch of that same Ghoul who had lead a group through the yellow doorway.
Eventually she stopped at a single locker among the halls rummaging about. When she shut the door she looked up spotting Amrita standing not to far off, the only two in the hall.
"Hey, you're that ghoul from the Christmas thing..." she paused, thing was more like horrible trap. Field trips at this school sucked. "What's wrong you look like your going to drop dead, again."

Oh! The ghoul was talking her.
Talking to her! To Amrita!
Oh, this was such a happy, happy day!
Sammy was talking to her!
...
Sammy was talking to her.
Sammy was talking to her
"....!!" Realization donned and Amrita stood up straighter, staring wide eye at the Zombie in front of her. "I...I'm sorry! Um. W-What did you...say...?" She all but squeaked out, having been too busy with her starstruck gaze and inner thoughts to remember what she had been asked.

Sammy tilted her head at the smaller ghoul, for some reason she seemed to stare with a slightly 'ohhh' look on her face. Like something completely and utterly amazing had just happened. Head cocked to the side Sammy had easily closed the distance between the two of them in the time it took Amrita to speak up.
Right hand out for a shake she blinked at the smaller ghoul, "You look like you've seen Jack himself dancing behind me. You sure you're alright?"

The star-struck Vetala stared at the hand that was offered, the *A* expression returning with a vengeance as she outstretched her own reversed little appendage for a handshake. She was shaking the hand of her Hero life was awesome she was never going to wash this han---wait, she barely did as is. WELL THEN. One of the perks of being a rotting corpse is that you were always assumed to be dirty. She cleaned enough to keep the body in good (for it) condition.
"I...I-I'm FINE!" She sputtered out, still holding onto Sammy's hand. "I'm...I'm uhh, err, I don't know if you remember meImeanwhywouldyouyou'resoawesomeandi'mnot b-but I'm A-amrita!" WHEW THAT WAS HARDER THAN FIGHTING WASHING MACHINES.

Something about this girl was slightly... off she kept making this face it wasn't quite scary or anything it was just odd how she kept *A* facing in her general direction. So as the handshake continued she simply cocked her head in the other driection chuckling a bit at the sudden outburst of a response for how the smaller ghoul was doing.
"Wait what you mumbled almost all of that, but your Amrita?" For a moment she studied the face of the Vetala taking note of how much of it was missing when it came back to her. Christmas town, the yellow door. "Hey I do remember you! You were with Tahki, Nuk, Shehk and me when we fought that crazy little elf with a robot... I haven't seen you since then have I?" Sammy had an ego but it seemed it hadn't quite grasped just how worshiped she was by the other ghoul.

"O-oh! Um. I just said---YES MY NAME IS AMRITA!" She called out loudly in confirmation, finally releasing the other ghoul's hand to hold it close to her nearly concave chest. Oh. Oh...Sammy remembered her! If Amrita was able to explode in joy, she would have right about then. There would be little FEAR pieces of Amrita everywhere. Luckily that was not doable, but she still looked higher than cloud nine.
"Y-yes! And Petro and---Um, N-no, not...really." Reversed hands clasped in front of her, her shoulder rotating in a bodily wiggle-fidget. "I-I kept wanting to find you b-but I never saw you in the dorms and...and...um..." The small ghoul had taken to removing her *A* stare from Sammy to look sheepishly to the side, avoiding any and all contact in an attempt to seem a little less awkward.
"C-cause you're my hero and stuff" She managed to get out quietly, somehow barely unable to speak any louder than a low murmur.
Nobody ever told her meeting your Hero would be so...so...difficult!

Sammy blinked once, twice, three times at the loud decleration of the ghouls name. Something was getting her worked up that's for sure. It's like she was meeting a famous FEAR master or something. "Don't yell, a teacher might catch wind and we'll both end up in detention."
Glancing around to make sure no-one was peeking into the hall to glare at them she continued to speak. "I live in the demon dorms now, I got moved a while back as 'punishment' for nearly clocking some jerk in the face in Crickets class. He got kicked out the school so I just kept the sweet room, has a nice view and everything rather then being stuck in the basement of the undead dorms." She tilted her head again, as Amrita glanced away, leaning in she blinked very slowly...
...
"I'm... your... hero?"
Wut?

"Eep! I'm sorry!" Reversed hands flew up to smack against her mouth, pressing them there as though it would keep all the sound from getting out. She went back to only glancing at Sammy; if it were possible, she would be blushing. The poor ghoul was that starstruck. The news of the Zombie's dorm designation surprised the Vetala, who was doing her best to keep her hands on her mouth.
"R-really?" WOW, an undead living in the demon dorms! That just...added to it! Sammy was clearly amazing to have that kind of bravery. This...this was amazing! She wasn't worthy! She nearly started with the *A* faces again but, luckily for Sammy, she resisted. If only for the shyness that came with the question being asked.
"Y-yes...s-since, um, Christmas..." She still had her hands over her mouth so she wouldn't get them in trouble. "Y-you're so cool! J-just...with the f-fire and...all that!"

Sammy cocked her head ever so slightly the girl had just declared her a hero, to her at least. Was it because she helped her out during the Christmas events?
"Yeah I've been living in the demon dorms since roughly half the time I've been here. The switch was supposed to be punishment and temporary but Braum did something stupid and was expelled so I kept his room to myself. I guess in theory I have two rooms? I haven't checked to see if I can get into the old one yet. Probably doesn't have much in it since he left."
Though it might have loot worth pillaging if he was too lazy to remove it... hmm.
When the topic of Christmas came back Sammy only shrugged, "I mean, it wasn't that bad... at least till the Death Charm thing burned Tahki and me to a crisp... I've been a bit more weary of fire since that..." She shivered slightly, one did not easily forget your skin being seared off.
"So what's up you didn't just come over here to gawk and stare did ya?"
