((NOTE: For those just coming in, you may now volunteer your student for a specific job they'd like to do, or offer suggestions for prom <3))
Classroom 207 looked like any other classroom in Amityville academy -- upon first approaching the door, it looks tired and a little worn, the wood chipping in places around the misted glass window that you used to be able to look through, at one point, and the corners looks possibly a little burned around the edges from a FEAR experiment gone horribly wrong. The black lettering labeling it as Classroom 207 is pretty much the only thing that set it apart from any of the other doors lining the hallway, letting everyone know that they were at the right place, some student adding their own flair by sticking a rather large wad of chewing gum in the middle of the '0'. And on the inside, it's not much better. You could never be sure you were walking in to the right classroom when stepping into 99% of Amityville's rooms -- one, because they seemed to change on their own like some sort of demented Harry Potter wanna-be room, two because when they weren't sporting really bizarre things, they were boring as hell. There was always a chalkboard, usually messy and/or vandalized with penises, there was always a desk for the professor in the front corner of the room, and there were always rows upon rows of desks, most of which were not at all in rows, but more scattered like a tornado had hit. In this particularl room, there was even a few that had been knocked over and now laid on their side, assumedly due to some students enthusiastic escape.
It seemed rather... informal for a Prom Committee meeting place, especially compared to the booth that had been set up. In fact, it looked like any other classroom. Period. There was no artistic flare, not even a poster that said 'Prom Committee' to let anyone know. The only thing that would even remotely tip anyone off was the fact that a certain skinwalker sat at the professor's desk, and anyone who knew him knew that if you caught him in a classroom, the sky was usually falling for some reason or another. Or you were dreaming.
Tilting the chair back on two legs as he was so wont to do, Nuk propped his bare feet up on the wooden desk at the front of the room, looking half asleep as he waited for other students to arrive. The only thing that seemed to be keeping him at all attentive was the purple demoness who was perched on the desk beside him, the two apparently having some sort of conversation. Apparently, because Nuk wasn't sure anyone else could hear the other half of the conversation, so mostly it just came across as something like this:
"You'd like it, you know you would. ... I so could, c'mon give me a little credit. ... Brainrape doesn't count! Besides, there's nothing to suck outta there anyway, you'd just get stupider. ... hell no."
((OOC: This rp can run as long as everyone wants -- you guys can rp coming in and getting settled, Nio or I will make a few key posts in the next few days calling for suggestions from the student body and calling for volunteers to do certain tasks, and then he'll dismiss and you guys can talk freely again. This is going to likely be a very quick rp, considering Prom is starting in less than a week, so please feel free to one-line this if you feel like it <3 It is very likely that the 'setting up the gym for prom' ORP will be thrown up within the next few days, but even if you don't/can't rp your character signing up for a task, you can throw them into that rp doing whatever they want.
Suggestions for things your student can ICly suggest -- *ideas for food/volunteering to make it *Signing up for decoration duty *nominations for prom king/queen and jester *... idk, let your imaginations run wild? ))

It was Nuk's voice that got her attention as she nearly passed the room completely, having been expecting a little more fanfare compared to what Nuk had done for the booth. He himself had said he was capable of elegance. What happened?
...Brainrape?
"He's right, you know. You may even starve." Junko commented with a grin, walking up to the desk where Nuk and Riley were waiting for everyone. "So were the pretty decorations a one time thing? Geeze, Nuk~."

Sin had been shirking her duties, oh she knew, she knew, and the guilt was finally getting to her. Her mothers perfect voice echoed in her head when she tried to sleep in, or enjoy some quiet time relaxing. Ha! Relaxation wasn't for a proper demoness apparently. Sin, you must be a proper demoness, and involve yourself in every activity from the most mundane to the most dazzling. You should volunteer for everything and know everyone! Yes those were her mothers words of wisdom, really they had been drilled into her for so long it was a miracle she didn't walk around spouting them herself. Well, when she had first come to Amityville she had, she had quoted her mother for every occasion. Now however she wished she could just ignore the finer social points and just enjoy the prom...for fun...not for...publicity?
"Hello Nuk, Riley...pleasure to see you both." She walked into the room and slid into a seat trying to put on her proper facade, except she was a tad rusty. She blamed her time spent with Rosc his disinterest in tradition, position, and power had come to mean less and less to her. She was supposed to want all those things, but lately all she wanted were good supportive friends and the amazing boilfriend she already had. Pity her parents wouldn't think that was good enough, not by a longshot. She eyed Riley again wondering how she would explain Malodore to her 'family' someday, maybe illithid were more understanding? She tuned her attention back to the matter at hand, prom.
"I'd like to volunteer to help decorate if it's needed? If not I'm sure I can be of use in some way?"
She turned and smiled a bit as she saw Junko, well the current company was nice.

Junko looked back at Sin whens he heard her arrive as well, giving her a wave. "Hi, Sin~!"
Oh! Volunteering for stuff! Right, right. Junko had never helped with this kind of thing before. She looked around at the room they were in now, and then thought back to the booth and the bruteball table in comparison.
Yeah, Nuk was going to need help with that. "I could do that too. And if anything needs to be made or sewn I can do that." With most of her project for Riley finished she was sure she could squeeze in more projects alongside her own dress and studying for exams.

OhgoshI'mgoingtobelateeeee.
She slipped into the classroom they were supposed to meet in, panting slightly from running down the corridor in an attempt to not be late; when she arrived, however, the classroom was still... Well, quiet and relatively empty. She stared in, looking at the familiar and not-so-familiar faces before heaving a sigh of relief, realizing that she probably did not arrive late.
That or everyone else was later.
"Evening~" She smiled, greeting everyone in the room as she took a seat beside Junko, staring up at Nuk and Riley, as if expecting them to say something to start the meeting. Realizing that both Junko and Sin were volunteering themselves for something, her eyes widened slightly and she raised a hand, her face lighting up, "Decorations, please! I'm with Junko on this one... If it needs to be made or sewn, I can help with it probably."

Nuk looked up as a few students began to filter in, half waving at them in an idle fashion before addressing them. (He seemed to pointedly ignore the jab from Junko. Everyone was a critic!) "Hey Junko, Sin, Lizzy. Go ahead and just chill for a while -- gotta wait til more people show up before we start this thing," he replied, although there was a mild grin at the enthusiasm. He did not, however, move to pick up the clip board that was tucked under his feet on the desk -- apparently he was not going to do any work until he absolutely had to.
(sorry for the sucky post, just wanted to mention that right now it's just chat-amongst-yourselves time -- we'll start the meeting and Nuk'll call for volunteeres then <3)

How dare Nuk ignore her. Junko will never forgive him for this.
Never being five minutes from now when she gets over it and clings to him with hugs and loving sisterly affection.
"Hmm~. Okay!" She looked to Lizzy when the demon ghoul arrived, smiling and giving her a wave as well. "Hi, Lizzy! Are you okay? You looked worried for a second there." Strange, very strange.

"O-oh? Alright then!" She blinked at Nuk, who she assumed was the head of this committee (and Riley too?) before leaning against the back of her chair, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt as she relaxed. Turning to look at Junko - looking lovely as ever! - when she was addressed, Lizzy smiled before shaking her head, "Oh, I'm fine! I just thought that I was running late for the meeting... Seems like I came early instead." She giggled.

"Oh! Well..I don't think you would've gotten in much trouble anyway even if you had been late." Though Nuk would no doubt make fun of her for it. Maybe. Or something. Either way, Junko smiled and put her hands on her hips. "Oh! I started on my dress, by the way~. Thank you so much for the silk!"

"I don't like being late anyway," Lizzy nodded with a soft chuckle, although she soon gave a sheepish smile, "Even if I do uh... Tend to show up late sometimes. I seem to spend too much time picking out something to wear, or doing my hair..." It's a good thing she doesn't put on make-up or she'll never be on time for anything.
"Ohhh, you did?" She brightened up, eyes widening before she grinned, "You're very welcome! I'm so glad I could help with it!"

Junko listened with surprising eagerness as Lizzy explained reasons she would be late for something. She didn't do this often, talk about just...inane things with friends. There always a 'purpose' or something 'important' about most of her chats with people. It was nice to just talk about nothing...like hair, makeup and dresses. "I can sympathize with the hair thing." Junko said with a small smile and a chuckle, her own hair coming around to lift one of her hands like a marionette puppet as if to prove a point. "It's hard to get anything done when my hair is able to do this. And since it's gotten longer it's also gotten a bit...stronger, too." Both a curse and a blessing.
She tugged her hand free of her hair, nodding with a proud grin to Lizzy. "I did~! It's easier to do now that I've had so much practice making my dresses for Riley. I'm adding a sixth one now...I should stop there, but it's kind of addicting." Clearly she needed 'Seamstress' Anonymous' or something to that effect.

Were they allowed to be in here? Xiu wasn't sure, but she was definitely interested in helping out with prom if at all possible. The little Baku ghoul wasn't alone either--since she had run into a certain someone in the hallways, she decided that she would drag them along. After all, the more help they got with the prom, the faster it would be set up and the more fun they would have! Or so her logic went.
She made it to the door before turning to pout at her companion, who she had been pulling along by the hand. "Come on, helping out will be fun! You'll see!" She knocked on the classroom door, and then poked her head in timidly. "Um, hi! Is this for the prom committee? ...Do you think my friend and I could come in and join?"
Her eyes swept over those who were present already, and she offered most of them polite, if not vaguely nervous, nods of acknowledgment. However, there were two ghouls that she did recognize, and she brightened up immediately upon seeing them. "Lizzy, Junko! H-hello!" Suddenly remembering that she had brought someone along, she took another step into the room and gave a little tug, "This is my, um, friend. I don't know if you've met him yet?"

Riley's conversation with Nukpana was finished. She had rolled her eyes at the final exasperated comment, and turned to greet those who were finally walking in. Junko's comment lifted Riley's expression, and forced a chuckle from her. Oh, I don't know. It's not the intelligence that feeds us. Just the pure, succulent meat. I think there's plenty in there for me to enjoy. She reached over and prodded Nuk's temple with one finger, pulling away before he could slap her or bite it off.
She gave Sin a soft nod in greeting, as well as Lizzy, and added a gentle explanation after Nuk's greeting. Yes, please, make yourselves comfortable. We'll let you know what we're looking for once everyone has arrived. She would have grabbed the clipboard herself, but, those feet. She wouldn't get near them.
She heard mention of her dresses, and her eyes widened. Junko, she breathed out in awe. I can't believe you made six dresses, just for me. I'm still in such shock. I cannot wait to see them.

"I told you, I didn't want to help. I distinctly remember telling you, I wanted to sleep." Vaith listed, his tone extremely flat. He had the deepest frown on his face ever, his arms crossed with his eyes narrowed. He dragged his feet into the room, the reaper's reluctance and resentment rolling off in waves.
He wasn't about to admit to Xiu, he barely knew anyone, due to his reluctance to simply go out and acquaint himself with others. Stepping into view of the room's occupants, one would see a very grumpy and sandy haired reaper. But that fact didn't increase his lack of nervousness-- Vaith had no problem meeting new people. Because he usually walked away from them afterwards.
But here was a chance to actually talk. Oh, bother.
His mental question: Why had he let the little baku drag him here again? Oh, right, she helped him. He owed her .. Debt were bothersome too.

"But you have lovely hair~!" Lizzy nodded, like that compliment would solve all of Junko's hair problems, "So long and silky and just gorgeous!" Despite all that, having hair that was capable of moving by itself does sound rather inconvenient... Junko gets major props for dealing with it.
"They are!" She nodded in agreement, "Once you start, you can't really stop..." She smiled sheepishly, twirling a lock of hair around her finger absent-mindedly, "The ideas just keep coming, and before you know it, one dress becomes two, or three... Or six, in your case." She giggled, glad that she could find someone who was sort of a kindled soul.
"Xiu!" She grinned, waving at the Baku before tilted her head, her gaze at the reaper boil with her as she dipped her head, offering him a small smile as greeting, "Oh? Hello there!"
... Oh no, not another grumpy reaper boil.
