The Teachings of The Karma
As relayed to members through conversation style. ^^
[+] 2/8/6 The posts in this thread are excerpts from a random coversation between Karma Police and sdrawkcab. I felt that they deserved their own thread. I had to put a lot of work into this by disecting our conversation (and that's not an easy thing). So, enjoy our craziness. n.n

On society
Karma Disciple Karma Disciple Karma Oh what was I thinking noobs are evil...I want gold...give me cheese ok now I'm back in the mind set of KP XPP So... n00bs are evil beings who beg for gold and cheese. XP I don't know about gold. I don't really speak to a lot of n00bs...not that you could Xp So n00bs are creatures without communication skills... Oh yes, they want gold. They often ask for it in PM form or send a trade of 1g ordering you to send more back. Funny beings they are. =P I wasn't gold crazy when I was new. sweatdrop
Karma Disciple Karma Ooh yes true, I think that you have t0 intergrate the education into something interesting. To teach them, you must entice them with interesting procedures. -How do you teach n00bs the right way? Well that's the point there is no such place. There isn't a thread they could read and not be a n00b anymore. XP
Disciple Karma Disciple Karma But lets just get into the book utopia on the whole noob thing with not giving them a source of blont knowlege so they can find out by them self instead of doing it person per person. I feel I do not understand your last decree... On one hand, n00bs should not be given a source of knowledge so that they can learn from experience. But then you say that they should do it for themself and not from person to person. Are you saying that one can learn "The Way" on their own, and do not need the help of such things known as "stickies," "faqs" and their fellow avatars? Yes but experiance that is harder to get. It was different when we were new ...people were more willing now it's really hard to not know what your doing and find a friendly person. That's why a master thread would work they go to the thread themself then me talking to each one on how the gaia world works. N00bs are a hopeless case the one that stay on line will learn and the ones that don't will leave because they don't understand the game....We just have to hope the out take is equal to the people coming in. So people now are not who they were before. That is very true... people were nicer to newbies back then. Of course, I swear that there were less n00bs too....

On Economics
Disciple Karma Disciple Karma Ofcouse I'm taking this from an economist point of view... sweatdrop Ah I see... from an economist point of view.... so very few actually obatin bliss, while the others are left only to jeaslousy? Of course you would take it from an economist point of view. XD What do you mean ofcourse me coming froman economist side...I'm a social gaian! Socialist eh?
Karma Disciple *Writes in the Book of Karma* Illegal transactions are okay if each side gets their fair compensation and no actual form of denomination trades hands. >.> <.< Well I wouldn't do it if it wasn't someone I knew in person...

On the Meaning of Gaian Life:
Karma Disciple Karma Desciple Karma Disciple You're just relaying all of the information we already know and aren't giving up any of the good info... like the meaning of Gaian life and what we have to look forward to. :3 Xp i know i didn pos the long term things that is going to come but you know too much infromation can making them go into shock and all of the gaian's would be rolling on the ground in joy...can't have that. Meaning of gaia life???I thought everyone knew that XP Ah yes, but people interpret the Gaian life differently... is there one true path we should be following, oh Great One? Well you can only reach true gaia bliss one way and you have to live a gaian life to do that. that is.... Getting a Halo blaugh Oh I see... *writes down information in the book of karma* So you're saying that true bliss is unatainable? Exactly!

On Dedication
Disciple Karma Disciple Karma Disciple x.x I need to lay off this philosophy reading... I'm about to read a coule essays on communist principles. o: I came on Gaia to take a break. >.< Yes, what are you thinking bringing work into play ^^ o: But as a disciple, I must write down what you say for future generations to follow. *nod nod* There is a time for work, and a time for play. Do not bring your toils into leisure. Allow a time for rest. What happens when work is brought into play? The reason you keep them seperate because play becomes work and then you need to get a new hobby since you have play to take time away from work. So play is a time to reward yourself for your hard work. If you mix the two, your play will bring more toil and you will have to search for another form of relief? I understand now.
Karma Disciple Karma Plans is progressions and progress gets a result Heheh *writes that in the book of Karma* I'd suppose progress brings results, whether you're happy with those results or not.... But do plans always result in progress? Yes... this is clearly noticed in Azu manga Dahio.

On Recruitment
Karma Disciple .______. *mutters* I want a new god.... You can't have a new god!
Disciple Karma Disciple Karma Disciple Oh I see. Those who are willing to learn must get in touch with Karma. Those who aren't willing, will leave from our misdts... *sweeps n00bs into the CB* o__________O My poor chatterbox. D: Is that truly what you wish upon it? .___________.;; Hey CB is where the MPT is so I'm just causing myself annoyance. Ah, so that is why you have sent them to the CB, that way they will find you for guidance. ^^
Disciple Karma Disciple Karma Disciple I hope we don't become overrun by n00bs.... We've already seen that they corrupt newbs into n00bs through the chatterbox. It's a smimple test of evolution I guess those who have the genetics stay XP ;D So natural selection takes place. Only those who are trainable will make it... those who cannot shall be cast into the flames of other n00bs. Exactly *gives thumbs up* Oh! This is the greatest day ever. My god gave me the thumbs up sign. n____________________n

On Random Thoughts
Karma "You know I just had to remind everyone that I am god...I mean is that too much???? XP"
Karma Disciple Karma Isn't it funny that I have a god...I think it is. 3nodding My god has a god... but god equals perfection... if there is something more perfect than my god, my god cannot be the true god. D: You liar! Oops, eheheh... *looks sheepish* sorry god? ._____.;; @.@ ok that got confusing.
Karma Disciple Karma Disciple Karma I can't belive we just thought this up and actually put facts behind this XP Oh, I've just been repeating you in question and answer philosophical type format... I have to make this book sound good and confusing. =] o.o wow that would be an interesting book XP o.O D: What do you think most of my posts in this thread were!? o.o xD ....Oh yeeeaaaaahhhh *falls over*
