Name: Khaliki
Name Meaning: Eternal Friend
Nickname(s): Buddy, Khal
Age: 14 Years
Personality: If you were to describe Khaliki in one word, it would be kind. He is sweet, generous and caring. He loves to help, and more often than not he will try to solve an arguement with talk, not violence. If he is pushed to the edge enough; though it takes a lot to get him there, he will fight if he thinks it is needed. All in all, he's a good soul who just wants to find out where he belongs.
Background: Ever since he was a pup, Khal was pushed around and stepped on. His siblings took his good, sweet nature for granted, and used it against him to get their way. When something broke; it was Khaliki's fault. When someone got hurt while playing; it was Khaliki's fault. Ultimately, this lead to his exile.
Khal was in a pack for as long as he could remember. But one terrible, cold winter morning, the unthinkable happened. Khal's brother killed one of the packs cubs by accident. Khal had picked up the scent of blood early that morning, and found his brother mourning over the small, lifeless form.
"I... I didn't mean to..." Ventash'ma, his brother, said, voice stricken with grief, and an undertone of something else. Fear. Khal had never heard it in his brothers voice before, for his brother was the pack alpha, and he never showed fear. Until now.
As they heard the rest of thier pak coming towards them, Khal immediately went into action. He moved his muzzle around in the cubs blood, and picked up the lifeless form in his teeth, even though he almost threw up from the taste of his kin in his mouth.
As the pack came upon the scene, they immediately blamed Khal for the death, thinking that his brother, thier leader, had tried to get the cub away from Khal, and that was why he, too, was covered in blood.
Even though Ventash'ma was pleading with the pack that Khal had not done it, they thought that he was merely trying to help his sibling. Khaliki was run out of thier lands, and told that if he ever came back he would be killed.

2.2.06
I got news today that my next door neighbors dog, Buddy, passed away. ;____; He was about 14 years old, give or take a year, and he had liver cancer. Though he wasn't my dog technically, I had a strong bond with him and I'm going to miss him terribley. ;__; I'm really only posting this so that everyone will know why I might seem depressed/snappy, I apologize for any comments tht offend.
A little bit about me and Bud:
I knew Buddy for about 6-7 years. He was, without a doubt, the sweetest dog I ever met. He wouldn't hurt a flea, nevermind a person or another animal. He didn't like cats much, but he never really tried to hurt them. He lived with two, actually.
I used to dog-sit for Buddy all the time. His owner, my next door neighbor, used to go out a lot for family stuff, and I always stayed with Bud for up to five+ hours. Obviously, we created a bond in that time.
Bud used to always love to see me when I came over to stay with him, and he always 'talked' to me. xD If he had to go to the bathroom he'd make these weird growling noises in his throat, though I knew he was never angry or anything, cause he'd be wagging his tail and sitting there watching me.
Buddy taught me a lot, and he was always there when I needed a friend to talk to. I'm going to miss him terribley. Excuse any typos, since I can't really see right now, tears are blurring my vision. Rest in peace Bud, wherever you are, you're no longer in pain. But we'll all miss you very, very much.I wrote that on February 2nd, 2006. Khaliki was based after Buddy to immortalize him. Jade did a wonderful job, they look identical. <333 Thank you SO much! Pictures: + + +

February 7th Noyama "I see birds this way..." Roll. "I see birds that way..." Roll. "I see birds all ways."
Ran had picked up an interesting habbit, which some may consider bad. Two, actually. One was singing about random things. Why? Because it was fun. The second was rolling in the dirt. Why? Because it was fun, too.
They were more fun together.
Sure, her fur would get flithy this way, but it's not as if her coat was particularly stunning as it were. And, alright, so as a shaman there was probably some injured wolf somewhere she could heal...
But didn't every dog have his day (to do nothing)? Even if that dog was a 'her', and not quite a dog...
"Ran is resting for today!" the female chirped to the sky, ears twitching. Because things rarely changed when it came to Ran, she yet again had no idea where she was. In some mostly clear-cut field... somewhere.
So long as she could hear the river, she never worried. Twiddle ((@Reborn: XDD!!! He does look soft. <333 *pets him*))
Khaliki, or Buddy as he was more commonly known as, was currently walking aimlessly through a large field. He wasn't sure where he was, nor did he really care. He was bored, and hungry, and those things weighed on his mind more than anything else.
The scent of another wolf, a female, reached his keen nose and he sniffed the air curiously. His tail lifted slightly, as his spirits rose. He hadn't seen another wolf in quite some time now, and he trotted toward where the scent was wafting from.
As he approached the gray femme, he cocked his head to one side a little, keeping his distance from her. He had been taught to be cautious around other wolves, especially females, since you never knew if there was a cub nearby.
"Hello." He said softly, his brown eys watching her with curiousty. Noyama (*bursts out laughing at the thought of Ran!puppies* XD OMG, Ran puppies. Those would be the dumbest wolves in the world. @ Were What? No! You'll kill me. gonk ) Now, those who knew Ran would've laughed at the thought of her having a puppy (or two). Some more than others. The shaman rolled onto her back and cranked her head at an awkward angle, gazing up at the newcomer.
Did he know he was upside-down? "Hello to you," Ran greeted cheerfully. "Ran hasn't seen you before. Ran's name is Ran, what is the stranger to Ran's name?"Twiddle (XDDD!!!)
Buddy gave her an odd look, but smiled a little as well. "I'm Buddy." He said, not daring to give anyone his real name. "It's nice to meet you, Ran." He said, his tail slowly moving from side to side.
"If I may ask, what are doing?" He looked at her, wondering why she was upside down and rolling in the dirt. Noyama In response, Ran gave him an odd look, "Ran is rolling in the dirt." Maybe he was blind? She already had one blind friend, another wouldn't be so bad. Thoughtfully, she examined his eyes, and determined that wasn't the case. Even she could tell the difference between an eye that could see and one that couldn't. "Buddy is a funny name. Did Buddy's mama name him that? Ran's mama named Ran." Twiddle Buddy couldn't help but smile a little at her comment, it was so painfully obvious. "Yes, but, why are you rolling in the dirt?" He countered, his head tilting to one side.
"No, Buddy's momma... I mean, my mother didn't name me that." He said, blinking at how catchy the way she spoke was. "Buddy is my nickname." Noyama Indeed, Ran had plauged many with her way of speaking. Even her 'mama', who had constantly scolded her for talking in such a way, had spoken the same before she could catch herself a few times.
Fortunately, her level of intelligence wasn't as contagious. The question was simple enough, but if one were to pass by and judge by Ran's expression, they might think she'd just been asked for the secret of life.
After a few long, silent moments, she rolled back over onto her stomach. "Ran...doesn't know." Well, there went the fun in that. Oh well.
"Oh," she said, wrinkling her nose back. What in the world was a nickname? "What does Buddy do for fun?" Couldn't be less amusing than rolling in dirt. Twiddle ((XDDD I love Ran, she's awesome.))
Buddy sat down, watching her with a cofused expression for a few moments. "Well, I suppose you enjoy it." He said, smiling a little to her.
He chuckled slightly at her question about fun. Fun, ah. He hadn't had fun in a long, long time. He pushed himself from his memories, and looked to Ran. "Nothing, really." He said truthfully, unable to come up with a more suitable asnwer. Noyama (XD Thank you. <3 *snugs Were* DD: ) Ran wasn't all that surprised to hear it. So, her suspicions had been true. He must be that word. That boring, three letter word she feared, but would be one day.
Old.
"You must be old, then," she said with a nod of her head. Only old wolves didn't have fun! They were too busy being... well, old and busy. Her voice lowered, eyes shifting around as she spoke, "Ran's Mama is old, too, and that's why she's no fun. But don't say it out loud, or she'll get very angry if she hears you."Twiddle ((*pings hearts at Were* ToT))
Buddy raised a brow at her, and chuckled. "Well, I may not be a puppy anymore, but I am not old." He said smiling. "I just haven't had the oppertunity to have fun in a long while."
He chuckled once more as she spoke about her mother. "Well, we'll keep it our little secret then." He winked and smiled. Noyama Secret keepers were good wolves to know! Not that it took much of anything to get Ran to trust you. An unfortunate personality trait of hers that had cost her on more than one ocassion.
'Of course he's not a puppy,' Ran thought. 'Ran is not a puppy and he is bigger than Ran is!' Really, that wasn't saying much. Even for a runt she was small.
His words didn't make any sense to her. "There's fun everywhere," she pointed out, sounding amazed he didn't know this already. Twiddle Buddy chuckled once more, nodding a little. "Well I suppose there is, if you know how to find it." He said with a slightly sad smile. He was once again thrown into his memories, but pushed them away with all his will. Now was not the time. Noyama (Ee! <3 Hearts for the custom. Black/White = owns Noya's soul.) One couldn't expect Ran to be a complete airhead. It would've made some uneasy to think a shaman running around healing other wolves didn't have any smarts what so ever. Not that she had a lot of them, but she had some.
Her surprised expression molded into a light frown. "Some wolves are sad because bad things have happened to them," she said casually. "But they should not let bad things keep them from having fun."
Fun... like rolling in dirt! Ran rolled to her left, then right, causing a minature dust storm. "Dust clouds are fun as long as you don't try to eat them."Twiddle ((Oooooh, beautful! <33333))
Buddy smiled a little. Well, she wasn't very smart, but she was obviously wise. And very, very right.
He watched as she rolled in the dirt, and he chuckled at her statement. "I can imagine," He said, smiling. He suddenly flopped down into the dirt beside her, and began rolling from side to side, copying what she did. And feeling like a total moron.
But, it was fun. He laughed as he sat up, watching the small dust cloud start sinking to the ground again, plastering itself to his fur as well. Noyama If Ran had been standing, she'd have fallen over. Was he seriously rolling, too?
'That's so stupid, Ran!' Her brothers and sisters always said things like that! They'd never played with her. At least, not willingly. And by time she had left her pack, she was older and had discovered her powers. Supposedly, because of those powers she needed to be more 'grown up'.
Discarding those thoughts, she wandered just how far she could get him to play along. Thus, she stopped rolling rather suddenly, ears flat and eyes moving left, right, then back again. "Shh!" she hushed, obviously not serious. "Do you hear the evil wolves? Ran can hear them coming closer!" Twiddle ((XD I'm gonna have to go after this post, Twidz needs sleep! XD But I'd love to continue tomorrow, if you want! <3333))
Buddy at first thought she was serious as her stance and attitude changed, but when she began talking, he caught on quick and grinned. "Yes! I hear them, too! Hurry, we have to hide!" He said, standing up. He pushed her with his muzzle and began running towards a rather large patch of grass, that covered him to his jaw, and when he crouched down, completely.

February 9th Lethrossen Fayina Tao yawned as she quickly moved to her paws, not stretching at all. Her movement was particularly stiff. She moved toward the small stream that trickled nearby, just in view from where she'd been sleeping. She bent her head down and lapped up the water, ears perked so that she could capture her surrounding sounds.
After her drink she set off west in a slow lope, eyes intensely flicking through her surroundings. Her stomach seemed to growl out, she was starving and ready to hunt. Hell, she was excited to hunt. She loved hunting. Twiddle Khaliki let out a yawn as he woke, looking around with a bored expression. He stood and stretched his legs out, shaking his thick winter coat, ridding himself of the dirt that had settled upon it in the night.
With another big yawn, his sharp teeth being revealed, he padded towards the last body of water he had seen; a small pond with a stream leading off it. He lapped at the cold water, the feeling of it waking him up physically and mentally. He sat down by th pond, watching the fish as they swam around. He sighed, wondering if this was his life now. Waking up alone, and spending the days alone. He pushed the thoughts aside, though a part of him knew that it was true.
((Sorry for the slow reply, I got distracted. xD; )) Lethrossen (Kasai says she's going to skip the rp right now.) Fayina shifted as she moved past a tree, tongue flicking over her maw. Her nostrils flared as she continued on, her pace picking up into a run. Her paws slapped against the thawing ground in a pleasant sound, her tail flying back with her fur. Wind raced passed and her heard thumped in a quicker pace than before. Deer was ahead, somewhere.
But soon the stream was coming back into view and she curved with it, slowly coming into a clearing. Her run stopped immedietly and she halted, peach colored eyes landing on a wolf ahead. "A stranger." She murmered to herself.Twiddle (Okey dokey then. x3)
Khaliki's ears spun forward as he heard the sound of feet on the ground, and his brown eyes scanned the area closely. The scent of another reached him; and he hoped he wasn't intruding on anothers territory. He knew that scents faded, and even with his keen nose he couldn't pick up a trace a scent that hadn't been renewed in a while.
His eyes landed on a female, and his ears spun to attention, his muscles ready. He would run if need be. "Hello." He called out, his voice loud so she could hear him, but there was no trace of anger in it. Lethrossen Fayina moved forward slowly. "Greetings." She murmered. This was no land of hers though, most wolves knew this was a free land, didn't they?
She stopped abruptly and sat in a sudden motion, not too close and not too far away from him. Twiddle Khal watched her closely, hoping there weren't any others around. "I am quite sorry if I intruded on your land." He said, sitting up, his tail curling around his legs. Lethrossen She snorted and shrugged her shoulders. "These are no lands of mine, sir. Free lands, I am thinking." He eyes flicked over his pelt, tracing over the colors that seemed to blend together so nicely. A habbit, staring at pelts.
Her eyes flicked away, moving toward the distance. She wanted those deer. "I am Fayina Tao and currently I'm hunting." She stated, she was a tad strange it seemed. Twiddle Khal was relieved to hear that, free lands were good. At least, for an exile they were. "Ah, thank you for letting me know. I go by Buddy." He said, not chancing to give out his real name.
"Hunting?" The word amde his mouth water. "Would you mind if I came along to help? I haven't eaten much of anything lately."
((Sooooo sorry but I have to go. Dx I'd love to continue later though. x3 If you want. Bye!))

JadeEye (for visual reference) A wolf she might be in appearance, she certainly was not in instinct. The young femme had been born and raised in the company of mankind...and not just any men either. These were the killers that had invaded the forests of Telk and sought out the rich pelts of her brethren...she had been a blind pup when her parents were taken by such men and she was taken roughly from a warm wolf nest into the den of two-legs. Fortunately for her, she had thrived well under their care during the journey back to their strange lands and had lived in the relative lap of luxury; the two-leg that owned her was named Governor...at least, that's what all other's called him. She could not understand the implications of such a name and went through life as any pampered canine might and thus became as tame as one. At home, she was alpha of the pack...it wasn't hard, being a full-blood wolf in comparison with the soft halfbreeds that also existed in her home. She didn't need to speak harshly to any of them; her mere presense was enough to quell argument. However, this forest was something different. Deep inside, it stirred something within. This was her birthland, yet she didn't know it. She should have been able to run the land and fear little of becoming lost or falling prey to anything, but these instincts had long run dry under the careful hand of her two-leg owner. Now she was lost and had no idea on how to return to her men. The rough scent of pine clogged a nose accustomed to lilac and lavender and the cold snow beneath her feet made her frown absently. She certainly was not used to such things. "Alas..." she said with a sigh as the clearing she was tromping through produced another line of trees before her. This forest never seemed to end! Werewolf He was doing something most wolves would consider taboo. But it wasn't the first time, and consequently, it would not be the last time either. Very few wolves ever willingly walked the path towards men, although every wolf knew each step towards it by some nature of instinct. It was a thrumming, somewhere in the head. Perhaps it was the remnants of the beast that had resisted men thousands of years ago, when they had first come to lure their weak away from the packs by small pieces of meat. Or maybe wolves were truly what men did fear- the creature set on earth to mirror them. No other animal had settled through it's own doing quite like the wolf, for men were not the only beasts of the earth who traveled round and round.
But still- it was rare wolves ever went looking for the strange creatures. With their presence growing by the day, wolves found themselves dispersing farther and farther into ancient lands. So therefore, it was a bit ironic that the large black brute found himself trotting with ease towards the direction his mind thrummed him not to tread.
Phib had not yet reached the man's land, when he found himself crossing a narrow set of trees. The scar on his chest was already paining him somewhat, as if it remembered man through some unnatural bodily order. But he, himself, had not much concern. He held no bitterness nor care to man. They were a sort of interest to him, and god forbid his mate ever found out about it.
But with a steady gait and an overall placated expression- the black wolf found himself upon a most peculiar sight. As soon as he rounded a pair of snow worn trees, he caught the faint smell of a female. It was an alluring smell, and even taken, he couldn't resist detracting his steps to see where it led. It did in fact lead to a female- but as to being wolf well...this was not so sure of.
She was bobbling about, her eyes wide and taking a peculiar interest in walking around in a confused manner. Bobbles of some sort were attached to all portions of her head as if she had been attacked by some sort of jewel- and, the collar. He knew that sign well. Vaguely, the black wolf snorted, a thick plume of mist rising from his snout as he peered over towards the female. "Well there." Phib drawled, lifting his head in a peculiar manner. "Hello." Twiddle ((@Allure: I agree. x3 They look so real! And she's adorable! XD *huggles her*))
Clouds... a bird... more clouds. A heavy sigh escaped him as he watched the sky, the chill in the air and the scent on the rise predicting snow. And soon. Khaliki rolled onto his back, not sure what to make of these lands, nor if he belonged in them. He thought about his pack, his brother. How he missed them all.
He snorted, standing up and shaking himself off, almost as if trying to rid himself of the memories. "Just forget them... You cannot go back." He said softly to himself, and then followed up with an assured nod.
Trotting towards a small grove of trees, Khal paused as a scent drifted to his nose on the wind. Another wolf. Two, actully. Male and female. He stopped abruptly, knowing that if they were mates he would not be welcome. That wolf had told him that these were free lands, but perhaps these wolves thought differently.
He approached with caution, trying to stay downwind of the two, as he watched them from behind a large tree. His coat blended well with the bark, one would only see him if they were to look directly at him. JadeEye The female sighed and licked her nose sullenly, jeweled ear twitching about for sounds of her master's hooved beast that she had been accompanying before she decided to walk off...the creature was so loud at times that she was certain that anyone with ears could hear their approach. She heard nothing of it now, however, and even the air had a crisp cleanliness to it that didn't bear a distinct scent of man, fire, or of their domesticated beasts. She fluffed her well-groomed coat with a forced shrug, deciding to not worry too much yet. Certainly she'd find her way in the end; she was a wolf afterall!...a small, very lithe wolf, but a wolf none-the-less. But then she heard a voice nearby, one that was rough at the edges and distinctly male, and her nonchalant air flittered away with the wisps of breath she exhaled sharply. Her ears pulled forward and her lightly-built form tensed with a shot of nerves that she hadn't been expecting. Was this a native? "Greetings," she managed to roll from her stiff tongue, eyes peering incredulously at the dark male wolf not too far off. He looked positively grizzled and beaten with all those scars...she wondered idly if he'd been beaten for disobeying his master. And where was his collar? She shook herself a bit, fluffing herself again, and settled the sleek fur back down against her neck, back and hind, trying to appear at ease with her current situtation, giving the male a genial smile and wagged her tail lazily, yet tension continued to show in her shoulders. "I apologize if I'm intruding." She wanted to say something profound, but instead found herself more or less at a loss of what to say at that moment. It would be so much easier if her master was here. Sigh. Werewolf ((Eek. ;o; Gaia died on me. Apologies. ))
The black brute chuckled, the sound thrumming somewhere in the depths of his bowed chest. The female reeked of man- so he did not intrude closer upon her quite yet. He had heard stories of men tying their bitches up in the woods to see if any males would come to mate with them- either to catch said males, or father more pure blood offspring. But then again, he had never actually seen such a scenario before.
She was a beautiful creature- that much was sure. He didn't particularly care for all the strange leech like attachments that clung to her skull, but he had not seen a female so well groomed before. Perhaps this was due to her strange scent? It was hard to say. Ryoku would have found her interesting, in any case- and he was glad she was not around. That was one wolf he'd much rather never have an encounter with man. He nodded his head politely, flicking his ears forwards in a steady remark. "Good afternoon, my dear." Phib was about to continue, when another faint smell tickled his nose- another male. Again a faint chuckle fleeted across him. So he wasn't the only old fool lured out by a pretty lady. It would be good to note however, that most of Phib's idle wanderings were nothing more then greetings. Despite his reputation- he was quite devote to his silly omega mate.
"Intruding?" He remarked, titling his head to the side. "Not at all. Are you lost, little She?" He spoke lowly, perhaps a bit amused with the idea that this wolf truly was of man. Twiddle ((It died on me too. x.o))
Khal watched closely from his seemingly safe spot. The female was more interesting to him than the male. Not only because she was, well, female, but also because of her well groomed coat, and an odd scent about her that Khal had never experienced before.
He brought his eyes off the lovely femme, with difficulty, to examine the big brute before her. He was obviously a tough one, his scars proved it. He carried the essence of a leader about him as well. Khal was not sure why this male was there, nor did he know why he cared.
Shaking the thoughts off, he thought it best to make himself known. He walked from behind his tree and over towards them, though he stopped a good four feet away. "Greetings. I don't mean to intrude on you, I just wanted to say hello." He said, his lie obvious to anyone with sense. He really wanted to see who these two were. JadeEye "No, I'm not lost," she said so quickly that it was surely a lie and she snorted lightly as though dismissing the very thought of being directionally impaired. She gave the end of her tail a little flick, her eyes betraying her uncertainty by how they darted about the surrounding forest, then landed on the male before again dancing away to some unknown focus. Her voice was twittery and light, either because she was naturally spoken as such or because she was nervous. "I...ah...I wanted to see what was around here. They said there were wolves out here and...um...I simply had to see." The way she said it was as though she found wolves like Phib to be sort of landmark one might visit whilst sightseeing. Nevermind she was a wolf herself...she had a distinct seperation of 'her' kind verses this strange male and his kind. The appearance of another male made her work her lip in uncertainty. My...these wolves certainly grew large out here. She'd never seen any of this size. Alive, that is. Werewolf Phib turned his head somewhat to watch the approaching male- and surprisingly, he found this creature to be considerably older then himself. That was not something a wolf such as he saw every day, and perhaps in a surprising act of politeness on his part, he moved over a bit so the other male could pass and get a bit closer to the female whom he was presently conversing with. "Hello there," His thick voice rumbled against his chest, resounding towards the other male.
"Wolves, eh?" The black wolf quirked. Was she a dog? He had always been rather good with identifying them by their different manner of dialogue- but...no, there was no slur in her voice. She did seem nervous, but her tongue was fine and her build was of a wolf. Maybe small, but no smaller then his mate- and certainly she was Wolf. An interesting quandary, this was. "Well my dear," he said again in a rolling, showman voice, "You seem to have found some- do you like what you see?" He remarked, not shying of his own slightly beligerent mannerisms.
He dropped his amiable face for a moment, replacing it with the well known stony stare. "And so then- what wolfless land do you hail from to need to seek others out?" Twiddle Khal looked over at the wolf beside him, his politeness making Khals expression go from one of caution, to one of surprise. He had never before been treated with anything but rudeness from his pack. His siblings bullied him all the time, he would have never expected such a wolf as Phib to show any kind of respect, or kindness.
Khal shook the thoughts off as the male spoke, and his eyes drifted to the female. He, too, noticed she was not a normal wolf. He eyed the odd bawbles on her pelt, wondering why they were there. He had never seen such attire before.
"Yes," He spoke in a soft tone, as if talking to a frightened pup, "Where are you from?" He repeated Phibs question, sitting down before the two, though still keeping his distance. JadeEye The female gained a nervous countenance then with the abrupt change to the stranger's manner, yet she tried to shove it away by arching her tail proudly and lifting her muzzle to stare back at him, though it was meeker than his. Again her eyes conflicted with her actions. Oh gods above, she was going to die out here at the maws of these brutes. She wanted her usual treat of smoked venison right then...anything for comfort.... "Yes...it..it seems I have found some," she repeated, shifting her weight nervously from forepaw to forepaw, licking her lips quickly in the pause that followed. "And I daresay you aren't any different from what I've been told. Disappointing, I should say, but to be expected." At the question of where she came from, she regained a bit of confidence and gave her head a bit of a haughty toss. "From the land across the sea, of course." She spoke as though they ought to know what she spoke of and didn't bother explaining. "This place is simply barbaric in comparison to home...and where is your master?" Werewolf Although Phib's ego was quick to want to repair itself, he could not help but sputter at the last words out o the female's mouth. "Master?" He chuckled, his voice hot in his throat. It was hard to tell if he was laughing at the idea of having a master, or her. It was not so terrible a laugh as to be awkward, but it certainly carried a kind of chiding nature to it.
"There is no master but I." he spoke, with a certain sway of his tail. "I am king of myself and group." But he composed himself somewhat after his surprise had worn off. Did she truly think that they were owned by man? "But ah- I suppose that's not right either." He remarked with a swing of his ear. "Master, no. Mistress- ah; many mistresses." He let the comment fall in a 'take it as you will' manner. "But the greatest being earth and she likes to play rough." Phib glanced once more towards the older wolf, and nodded his head complacently. He was not particularly a rude wolf when it came in terms of divvying out respect. And there was always a certain amount of respect to the old- and with him entering his elder years, he supposed he was depositing it all into a karma bank. "And you, my dear? A master for you then? Where is your master now?" He drawled, although the final portion did concern him. Just where was her master now? Twiddle ((Nice Link custom. :0))
Khal watched as she spoke, and his head tilted to the side when she spoke of a 'master'. Did she mean another wolf? He was very confused. And Phibs reaction confused him more. He reacted as though the thought was absurd. Khal said nothing, just watched Phib as he spoke.
Khal smiled a little at Phibs comments. He liked this wolf already. He nodded in agreement at the female. His tail flicked behind him slightly, he had no idea of what the two spoke of, but obviously to Phib it was something he did not like; or at least, found below him.
"Why do you have a master?" Khal asked outright, the question burning on his tongue. He had no idea what a master was, and hoped he would trick one of them into describing it, without outright asking and looking a fool. JadeEye The female bristled with indignation. She did not appreciate being laughed at and it showed by the way her sharp incisors peeked through parted lips when she inhaled slowly to keep her temper in check. She might be small, but she could hold her own in a fight...at least with soft halfbreeds. "Hmph, I forget that your type live uncivilized out here in this...place," she retorted and turned her shoulder so she wasn't looking squarely at the black male. Rather, she gazed around him at the scenery and wrinkled her muzzle. "Left to your own devices and whatnot. I suppose not all can be lucky like myself." She ignored his question of the Governor's whereabouts for now. She gave the tan and black wolf a kinder look, cocking her head slightly to the side as though regarding him with an amused, yet tolerant look. "He is my alpha...he provides for me and I protect him and his pack of two-leg brethren. It is not that unusual...I don't see why the black one seems so revolted. It is natural." The black one, obviously, was Phib. Werewolf "Natural, perhaps in instinct." Phib picked up almost as soon as he let the female finish. It was a bit apparent that he had been willing to speak much sooner, but he did allow her her words. "Natural perhaps to dogs." He continued. "But I cannot say it's all that natural in nature for Wolf, my dear. You might serve your Master- but he is no alpha." A series of images flashed through his mind. It had been so long since he had been young, and before he had ever been a leader. He'd spent most of his adolescent age recovering from his wound to his chest, and the rest of it spying on man. He had no affection for them- but he did not have fear either. He supposed he could understand that this female would believe that Man to be her alpha- but never had he seen a man worthy of taming him. Therefore, they might be masters, but they were no kings.
But, perhaps it was cruel of him to openly abash himself at her nature. So he restated himself. "But there is nothing unnatural in caring for those who protect you."
'Whether or not they're Man, I suppose.' He thought, rather bitterly in his mind. But enough of this. He had not missed however her lack of answering him on the location of this Man. Was he then, somewhere hidden and down wind? Or was she afraid that they would do harm to her? He certainly had no impression of harming her, so he took it on the safe side and did not continue it. But he did not forget either.
"But perhaps I am being rude and uncivilized." He slided, being always a manner of an easy speaker. "I am Phib." He motioned to the other two, perhaps implicating a desire to put names to them. Twiddle ((LOVE your SoA cubbin Were! x3))
Two legged? What on earth is that? Khal thought as the female spoke, though he gave her a nod as if understanding. He understood Phibs point on the matter; but he spoke not on it.
"If you are alright with where you are, and who you're with, then it is natural." He spoke after Phib, trying not to contradict the other male, but also trying to comfort the femme.
As Phib gave his name, Khaliki tensed a little. "I am called Buddy." He said simply, still not trusting enough of anyone to reveal his true name. He knew that word of the cub-killer would have already reached this area, and the wolves who inhabited it. JadeEye The female turned, her gaze growing a touch icy as it fell on the large black male. His words rubbed her wrongly as it was and only gave more basis to the stereotypical nonsense she had heard from others about the uncivilized wolves in this forest...but again she figured she shouldn't be surprised. The eldest of her pack knew best about wolves of this sort, having been a packmember of one for most of her life and spoke of their ways freely. Phib's attempt to appear more complacent with her line of thinking did little to change the little female's opinion of him. "Perhaps you ought not speak on behalf of others, Phib, as though you feel what they feel and think how they think," she remarked tartly, her muzzle lifted proudly to the air. "We do things differently where I hail...no doubt you can respect that." Her tone of voice had adopted a coolness to it that matched the tilt of her eyes, obscured slightly by her narrowed brow. She did not offer her name. Not yet anyway. It was best not to get too cozy with either of them; she knew her Master's reasons for coming to these lands just as well as any of the other canines at the camp. ((*might have to go soon*)) Werewolf (( >D Sounds good, as I'll need to sleep shortly. I'll slap this up though, since I finish eet. <3 ))
Harsh- Phib thought his ears pivoting somewhat as the female turned her cold gaze upon him. He probably deserved that. But he was a sucker for women, and at once he felt a bit unfortunate for his inability to keep his mouth shut. But he wasn't about to slack off on his comments either- but he was, in some part, remorseful for causing spite in the little She.
"My dear, I don't pretend to understand nor care what others do, and think. But I know lupine nature- and I know pack order. But you may take that as you will, my dear, but it is not much concern to I what you crawl back to in Man's world." He held his tongue at the more final part- for perhaps he understood subconsciously the reason man was here. There was no room in Man's world for Wolf. And that went for little pretty dog-wolves as well.
"But yes, perhaps you do do things differently in your lands. But really, it's all the same. Law and order." He shook his head. "Man and wolf- it never changes, in the end. But unlike our world, you will never be leader. There will never be room for leaders with Men."
To Buddy, however, he dipped his head in response. Was that his real name? He didn't imagine why the other wolf would lie, but it did strike him as unusual. Perhaps he would come upon this wolf in another time to see what the cause of it was, but for now, he did not show much more then respect towards it. Twiddle ((For Were and Jade luffs~))
Khal agreed with Phibs words in his mind as he watched the two exchange depates. But he said nothing on it, for he knew making an enemy, even one that seemed as harmless as this little femme, was not a wise choice for him. Instead he took his attention off of them momentarilly, his ears swivelling back and forth on his head. He had a feeling that something was coming, though he spoke not of it. Just his imagination, he thought.
Returning his attention to the two as Phib finished, he smiled a little. His words wrang true, and he knew that was why the femme was not pleased with them in the least. "I am afriad, Miss, that Phib is correct." He said, his voice held caring though, and sympathy for this femme. Obviously she didn't know the joys of being in the wild.

Artsywolven The season of white had finally begun to thaw. Snow that had once been sprawled out across the terrain had slowly started melting, revealing occassionally a small patch of green grass. Despite this, the wintery time of the year had yet to completely disappear-- this would perhaps take a few weeks more before spring finally rose up.
Some liked warmer seasons.. some the colder. For one particular female of the forest, however, there was no question. There was a logical cause of course behind her reasoning, only which the closest of her friends knew. Unfortunately, however, the snow and ice couldn't be helped, and well.. things must be delt with as they came. Afterall.. you had to make the best of the situation.. right?
This was of course true for Winter, a young adult appropriately named after the season. At the time, perhaps around midday, the female stood near a small brook. The effects of winter clearly made notice by the ice that had collected and covered the top of the shallow, flowing water beneath. Beside it, this sheila was testing it from time to time, poking the slippy surface with a paw as if wondering if it would break by the small amount of pressure applied. Unfortunately no such luck.
"Hmmn.." She murmured, cerulean blue eyes studying the top ice while she waited. Without further warning, that head of hers was lowered, muzzle opening while a light pink tongue proceeded to lick and lap at the frozne water.
Bad idea..? Hmm. After several licks, the snowy white she wolf drew back, or.. rather tried to.. however that tongue of hers seemed.. stuck? In a notion of panick, the female stood, head still ducked rather low before jerked backward, hoping to dislodge herself from the ice. Stuck..? Several whimpers and whines sprang from the female, the jerking back turning rather panicky. Cold, D:
"Help..?! Is anyone out there..??" Futile was the only word that could describe these calls. xP(( e.e; Hmn. Long. And lame, XD BRILLIANT, XD It'll get better, D: )) TheFinalFantasy ((XD I like it! KHAL TO THE RESCUE! 8D))
The cold was beginning to get very, very boring for one wolf. He didn't mind it, even liked it sometimes, but he desperately missed flowers, grass and sun. Of course, all of the above were beginning to come out more often, but he still felt that chill of winter.
With a sigh, his breath causing a cloud of mist in front of him, he began to trot away from the tree he had spent the night under. He needed some food, his stomach was growling loudly at him.
As Khal began to search for a rabbit or mole to pick off, his ears spun forward. A voice had reached his ears, calls for help? He followed the sound, running towards the femme's voice.
The sight his eyes drew in as he came to the river was far from what he ahd expected. A bear attack, cougar attack, maybe even trapped in a hole. But, stuck to the ice? Now this was a new one.
Khal padded over to the female, cocking his head at her. "It seems you need some assistance." He said, smiling a little at her predicament. He wasn't sure what to do for her though, and thought about the situation for a moment. He couldn't pull her tongue from the ice, afraid it may hurt her. He thought again, and got an idea. "Now this isn't out of choice, so please don't get angry with me." He said, hoping she wasn't a crazy female. Althoguh, ALL females were crazy...
Pushing the thought aside, Khal bent down and began to lick at the ice, trying to get her tongue from it with his own.
((Edit: XD! I'm on my mule, woopsys. xD)) Artsywolven Ears perked at the quiet sound of footsteps, hopefully in response to her calls..? Considering that she was stuck in one place, a bear or some other sort of predator could easily have a go.. Straining, Winter attempted to shift to the side, eyes peeking to the side in attempts to catch a glimpse of what sort of creature was trotting up to aid or eat her.. either which way.
A large, though silent, sigh of relief was exhaled at the sight of a critter of her own kind coming to assist (hopefully), and almost immediately several large sweeps of her tail were given. "Uuuh.. 'aybe a little help.." She began, having no idea what thoughts were stirring in that head of his.
Typically she managed to trust every stranger she met, which didn't make the situation too terribly awkward.. to some extent, anyway. Winter's eyes never left the males figure, giving a shrug in thought while he spoke. He seemed normal.. nothing too odd about him.. EH?
Brows furrowed and eyes went cross-eyed as he began to lick around the ice and her tongue-- what exactly did he thing he was doing..?! Another panicky surge was shot through her figure, and she couldn't help but continue to jerk backward, perhaps to get away from this stranger or to help to free herself.. but that was just.. EW! However within seconds that pink tongue of hers had begun to peel itself away from the ice, eventually sending Winter in a sudden roll backward, aquainted with a loud 'OOF'.
Winter took no time at all to wipe her tongue across the ground, attempting to catch some of the snow piles laying around in order to wash it off. "Aaaaaaaugh that's so gross!!!! What the heck were you THINKING??! Running up and.. and.. EW!" She yelped, practically throwing a fit over the matter. Although it didn't quite help her now frozen tongue.. which was now rather numb.(( Last bit was rushed, but HAHA. o____o; Save me, D: My brother's trying to play the Karoake DDR, T_______T;;; *eardrumburst* ;0; And don't mind Winter, D: She's odd, XD; )) Twiddle ((XD!!!!! *pelts stuff at him* <<))
Khal sat down, wiping his own tongue along the fur on his leg, his nose scrunched up in a disgusted look. She was crazy. Big surprise. "Well, that's not much of a 'thank you', now is it? I could have just left you there, for a bear or cougar to pick off." He said, snorting at her.
He sighed and shook his head a little, his breath puffing out in small white bursts. "Well, let's get off to a better start, shall we? I'm Kh-" He caught himself and blinked, "...Buddy." He corrected himself, watching her and hoping she hadn't thought much of his correction.
He pushed the thoughts aside and watched her as she dragged her tongue along the snow. He chuckled, "Oh come on now, it wasn't that bad." Artsywolven "True but you didn't have to go licking at me.. could've broken the ice and left me to try and melt it like that.." Winter began, lifting her head however seemingly refusing to tuck that tongue of hers back where it belonged, and rather letting it hang uselessly. Maybe the snow hadn't gotten all she wanted off..?
Rising to all fours and gracing her pearly white coat with a brief shake, the female finally pulled her tongue into her mouth. "Disgusting," She grumbled, wrinkling up her nose and shaking her head. Ah well. What's done was done.. least her tongue was free to thaw.
"Nice meeting you.. Buddy.." She finally stated, only eyeing 'Buddy' even further. Hadn't he just.. started to say something else..? Hmn.. must've been her imagination.. "I'm Winter," She added lightly, for the second time shaking her fur before again speaking.
"And yes, it was bad," She mumbled, cocking her head, finally calm enough to let her figure slip into a sitting position. Twiddle Khal snorted again, shaking his head. "Oh well." He said with a slight smile. "It's in the past now." He said with a slight grin. "It's nice to meet you anyway, Winter."
His tail flicked back and forth behind him, as he layed down in the snow. He was still starving, but this femme was more interesting to him. "So, how did you manage to get stuck to that ice anyway?" He asked, cocking his head to the side curiously.
She reminded him of someone, though he couldn't place it... Maybe someone from his old pack? He shook his head a little to himself, he had done a good job of not thinking about them. Until now. Memories flooded his mind, but he shoved them away, trying to concentrate on Winters eyes. Those beautiful eyes... He snapped out of his trance and stuck his gaze on the snow. Artsywolven "Uhm," Winter slowly began, taking another quick glance to the small, iced over brook before quirking her head. "Thirsty..?" The female stated, a sheepish, childish sort of grin draping itself across her muzzle.
"I figured.. since it's frozen water.. y'know.. me and my stupid curiousity.." She added, the last bit rather hushed, as though it were an afterthought to herself. She should have known beforehand that it was more likely to end up stuck to the ice rather than to just sit there and lick it happily. No.. nothing was ever that simple, unfortunately.
At some point or another during her piece of the conversation, her eyes had strayed a bit, glancing to the surroundings as if in search for something to entertain herself with, since obviously the ice hadn't done a very good job of that. However eventually her eyes planted themselves on the darker male before her once again, and rather quickly she noticed his staring. It didn't last long, however, as it seemed that as soon as she'd looked directly into his eyes that he'd quickly directed his gaze towards the ground, rather than her. What was that for..? Who was she to know..? Males tended to be a foreign object to her.. confusing and stupid. Yes..
"Oh," She suddenly spoke again, shifting her weight uncomfortabely. "Thank you," She said lightly, although making an attempt to look at her own paws instead of him for this part of the conversation. Twiddle ((Sorry for the delay! Dx I got distracted while coloring.))
Khal smiled a little at her comment, "Well, curiousity can be a good thing." He reassred her, his eyes moving from the ground back to her own.
"It was no trouble at all." He said in response to her thank you, smiling at how she looked at her paws. "Think nothing of it." His stomach suddenly broke the slightly awkward silence, and he chuckled. "Seems I'm still hungry." He said with a slight shrug as he stood up. "Better go get something to eat... Would you like to come along with me?" He asked, though he was surprised at himself for doing so.
(Crappy post, sorry again. xD; ) Artsywolven (( LoL, it's fine, XD I'm fidgeting with Ecco the Dolphin on this one game thing that my friend gave me, XD The original Sega version just.. on the computer, XDDD; ))
"Curiousity can be a bad thing," Winter corrected timidly, arching a brow while she once again rose her gaze to stare directly back into Khal's while he continued to speak, leaving her hardly any time, if any, to respond until he was through commenting. Ears perked at the loud grumble Khal's stomach gave, trying to resist the temptation to spew laughter. Although the idea he had spit out had calmed that temptation almost immediately.
A.. hunting trip..? Winter inwardly rolled her eyes. The one thing she was terrible at.. ah well..
"Hunting..?" She repeated aloud, slowly hoisting herself up to all fours. "Can't say that I'll be much good.. actually I'll probably just get in the way but I suppose I could tag along.." She said slowly, heaving a sigh. "Bribed one or two of my friends into trying to teach me how to catch something decent.. never worked, amazingly enough," She pointed out, shaking her head while a quiet laugh escaped her figure. "But I can try. Or watch, either which way," Winter smiled mildy at this, a half-hearted smile, if you will. Even if she did just get in the way, at least it would prove to be more amusing than what she had been doing before Buddy had shown up. "Right.. so.. what're you hungry for..?" She questioned while taking several steps in his direction. Twiddle ((XD!~ I used to love that game.))
Khal smiled at her, "I could teach you to hunt for small prey, if you want. For a loner to survive it doesn't seem to take much. A couple rabbits, maybe a baby deer, if you're lucky enoguh to surivive the mothers hooves." He winked and chuckled. "I normally stick with rabbits and moles."
He stood as she approached him, and smiled amiabley again. He began to walk around, sniffing the air intensely. "I'm trying to catch a whiff os something- Ahhhh..." He said with a smile. "Rabbits. Over there." He said, motioning with his head to a patch of brush about ten feet away. "Let an old expert show ya how it's done." He winked at her, smiling.
He bent low to the ground, his feet making hardly any noise. He suddenly howled loudly, and about seven rabbits ran from thier hiding place. Dissoriented and frightened, one ran right at Khal, and he scooped it up in his jaws, killing it in an instant. He trotted over to Winter, setting the rabbit down in front of her.
"Just because we need to eat them, doesn't mean they need to suffer." He said, sounding very wise all of a sudden. Artsywolven "Well.. I mean I can catch little things after chasing them after a while.. but--" She began to slowly explain, however her voice drained off mid-sentence after realizing the hunt had begun, even if they hadn't really gone that very far. Actually.. they hadn't moved at all! And what exactly was that whole.. winking thing about..? Strange.. Ah well.
Winter watched, sidestepping so she could get a good view of what exactly Khal was doing. "What're you up too..?" She commented lightly, and quietly, eyes glued upon the bush and the males figure. A second later, the female gave a rather large jolt, the surprise howl breaking the silence rather instantaniously setting the rabbits off along with startling this snow white sheila.
It was a few moments later that 'Buddy' had returned to Winter, dropping the rabbit down onto the snow. "Wow." She murmured, cocking her head, brows arching quizically. "Fast work," The female commented, eyes leaving the rabbits figure to stare upwards towards Khal, since afterall.. he was larger than her. However her gaze was soon shifted to look towards the rabbit again, lifting a paw and tenderly poking at it. "So. You going to eat it or let it sit there and freeze..?" She smiled, another quiet spew of laughter escaping her figure, tail tapping up and down on the ground upon her leaning back once more to a sitting position. Twiddle Khal smiled, chuckling a bit. "Thanks." He said, looking down at it as well. "Do you want some?" He asked, pushing it with his paw towards her. "I can catch another." He smiled.
Looking around, Khal wondered why he was being so kind to her. Granted he was rarely mean, but offering his catch while he was starving? Well, that's just... odd. He tried to push the thought away, but it hovered on his thoughts.
Looking back to Winter, he smiled once more. "Go ahead." Artsywolven "Oh no.. I couldn't.. I mean.. you're probably even more hungry than I am.." Winter stated, taking a paw and shoving the rabbits carcass back in the direction of Khal. "Besides," She began, another grin working it's way across her muzzle while she spoke. "I've had my fill from the.. uhm.. ice over there.." She murmured, taking a quick nod in the direction of the brook, which had previously had her quite a sticky situation.
"Plus.. with that howling you probably freaked out every animal from here to Kingdom come.. not to mention you caught it," She added briefly, straightening up to some extent before shoving the rabbit a bit further, so that it now sat almost directly in front of the males paws. "Thanks for the offer, though?"
Hmn. In reality she wouldn't mind eating a little something.. but considering that Khal was the one that caught this.. In otherwords, she was far to stubborn to usually accept anything from someone else. But it was her loss, and the other's gain. In most cases, anyway. Twiddle Khal smiled a little at her. "But I wnat you to have it." He said, though already his mouth was watering at the thought of biting into it. "Here, how about we compramise?" He grabbed the rabbit in his teeth, pulled it apart, and gave her half.
"There, now we both get some." He said with a smile. He layed down and began to eat his half without another word, the rabbit gone in a few moments.
((Hey Stryder! <3 Where'd you get the sexy belt? :0)) Artsywolven "But you need it more," Winter retorted lightly with a snort, watching Khal gobble his half of the rabbit within a matter of minutes. "Yep. That confirms it. you need it waaay more than I do. So," She murmured, bending her head down momentarily in order to grab one of the rabbits legs and tear it from the carcass, "I'm takin' my leg and I'm going over there," She grinned, trotting past Buddy quickly in order to keep him from doing anything in rejection to her comment. Rabbit leg and all, she picked one of the nearest trees and, with a giant flop, dropped to the ground. "And don't you even think about coming over here if the rest of that isn't gone!" She called, tail sweeping this way and that, tapping the ground lightly with each swing while she began nibbling on the leg that she'd torn.
"Done yet..?" She called, looking up from the bone that she'd left. Mmn, what a nice chew toy it made. Twiddle Khal grinned, shaking his head. Oh well, can't fight with a female. He gobbled down that rest of the rabbit, leaving the bones, though he even sucked the marrow out of those. He then trotted over to her and flopped down beside her. "Thanks." He said with a smile, knowing she had been right, and he had needed it.
With a yawn, he folded hispaws one over the other, and began to try adn get the blood from his maw. Artsywolven All that Winter could honestly muster up at this point was a light, "Told ya so," Sort of phrase. She was right, he was wrong.. HA. ..Or not. Either which way, Winter had her little bone to chew on, not that it would last very long, but it was enjoyable at least until Khal came over.
"Hehe.. you sure you shouldn't be eating a deer or something..? Rabbit seemed a bit small for you.. more like a snack or something," She mumbled, quirking a brow while she rolled slowly to her side, although making sure that she was facing in the direction of Khal. "And don't worry about it.. why would I eat a rabbit when I could have one of these..?" She questioned, rolling right side up for amoment before shuffling over a bit towards the male beside her and jerking her head upwards, with a quick attempt to catch his right ear in her muzzle. "I mean these are just.. mmmn.. so much more tastey.. y'know..? Chewy and delightfully dilicious!" She mused, giving a light tug backwards. "Ooooh and tails.. tails are even better! Especially if you're lookin' for something nice and crunchy.. ooh the goodness.." She smirked, her voice somewhat muffled by having something in her mouth, however clear enough to at least be somewhat understood. Of course she was only joking.. only canibals ate other wolves.. which was.. to say the least, a rather disturbing thought. Twiddle ((Bye Stryder! <3
XD!!!!!! Bad Artsy!
Heya Were! <333))
Khal grinned, laughing. "A deer would be great, but normally it'd take a pack to bring down a deer." He said, smiling, though it quickly went away as memories of his old pack flooded his head.
Her mouth on his ear pulled him from the thoughts though, and he blinked, laughing at her words. "Oh but feet are the best!" He said, turning his body around, wrapping his muzzle around her leg. "Mmmmm..." He said grinning. Artsywolven "Eeeh.. maybe if you picked off one of the smaller ones.. I dunno. Maybe a baby or something.. Throw a rock at it and konk it out for a bit.. THEN y'can go retrieve it, hm?" Winter smirked. Yes.. konk it out and then you don't even have to bother with chasing it! How lovely.
However these thoughts were thrown aside as her left foreleg was grabbed. "Eh..?" The female protested, trying to jerk it backward from his mouth instinctively. "But.. that leg isn't for sale.. so you can't have it for chewing on.." The snowy white sheila began, shaking her head momentarily. "Right.. fine.. you can have that, but then I get this," She smirked, quickly releasing Khal's ear before closing it on top of his muzzle, which was fastened tightly on her foreleg. "So there," She mumbled. If anything perhaps he'd let go and give her leg back to her. Afterall she did sort of need it if she wanted to go anywhere. Twiddle Khal thought about her words for a bit, and nodded at her. "Actually, that might work- Hey!" He said, as he felt her mouth over his muzzle. "Well I need that to eat." He said with a grin. "Alright, alright, I'll let go of your leg, and you let go of my mouth. Ready? 1, 2, 3!" He let go of her leg, though it was hard to do so, considering his mouth was restrained from opening. Artsywolven Teehehe.. so he'd actually let go..? Did that mean that Winter had to now surrender his muzzle..? Darn..
"Eh.. eating's overrated anyway," Winter mumbled, voice even more muffled from not being able to close it properly. "Fine.. but I've claimed it.. so don't think about going and giving it away or anything," She stated lightly before withdrawing. "Happy..? Fair trade, I think. Your muzzle for my leg. M'hm, sounds good t'me," She grinned, tail thumping like usual behind her slender figure. "Righto. So." She continued, curiousity perhaps getting the best of her, perhaps making her come off as.. rude.. but either which way.. "Is your name seriously Buddy..? I mean.. you're buddy enough.. but c'mon.. if my parent's had named me Buddy I'd've gotten a name change by about three months old," She mused, shooting a quizical glance in Khals direction.(( Haha, alrighty, =D See ya, Twiddle! < 3; )) Twiddle ((Finally got the chance to reply. xD; My brother dragged me away from the comp to watch him play his new game. x3))
Khal grinned, his own tail swishing back and forth behind him. "Yep yep, fair trade. And since you claimed my muzzle, I claime your leg." He grinned and chuckled, though the laugh vanished as he heard her question, and his tail ceased it's swishing.
"I..." He looked at the ground, he knew he couldn't tell her the truth, since the wolves here had surely heard the rumor that had spread around. Khaliki the Cub Killer was not someone you wanted to be joking around with. He shifted his weight uneasilly. "It's not my name.. But I can't tell you my real name."
