♫"~~~Yea~~~~, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace."♫

Her soft voice was caring as she walked along. This time she was alone, when usually now a days she was not. She was finding her own adventure. Or so that's what Tsukurou had tried to tell them. Not minding at all, but the fact that she was leaving that big olf alone was making her worry but she knew he wanted some time alone with a new found friend of his so she decided to do some searching of her own.

♫ "When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun."♫

Her voice so smooth and soft, but strong all at once. As she went off in to picking and gathering herbs that she knew would be useful for the road. Going deeper in to the forest.. from the desert to now an enriched forest full of beautiful and delight.

♫"We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun."♫

As she collected happily, singing softly and humming the tone.. Then as she went on to the next location, following the trees and symbols, she came in to a clearing.. She looked ahead then and saw a deep.. and large cave. The canopy's leafs just barely covered it as she came slowly upon it.. Head held high as she seemed to look curious.. Her hair tuff long, and her body decored in instruments like shell necklaces and shell bracelets to let the sound of her dancing be heard along with her singing.. A small pouch hung on her neck that was used to collect herbs of all kinds.. Her white pelt that seemed to shimmer with her markings from the spots where the sun shined through..

♫"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see."♫

Standing ahead of the cave.. Oblivious of fact that one should be prepared if the cave belonged to another but she was always so welcoming that she didn't know what territorial really was. Just nightmares. Taking slow steps, as she wanted to see if anyone was in there.. maybe even to nap there or even mix some herbs for the road to come. Taking in a few steps as she looked in... "Hallo'?" Her accent of a very cherished London accent in human terms but enriched in the tongue of the lioness.

It had been a few days since Jamala had rushed his long-past fledgling children from his denhome - a ruse set up for them so that they could spread out and enjoy themselves for a few weeks without having to worry about dear old dad. He didn't want to see them the way that he was seeing himself - tired and heartsick, his soul facing a mortality issue since the death of his beloved father figure - the very lost of the man shaking the god to his bare bones.

So he was spending his days in seclusion, his odd coloured eyes watching only the back of his eyelids as he slept away the hours, hoping that time would heal all wounds, as it seemed to do whenever a mortal suffered a saddened event . . . but it seemed to be doing little for the god, who felt his age spanning in front of him indefinitively. He did woe terribly.

It had been a few hours since returning to the land of consciousness that a peculiar sound seemed to grab his attention and slam it to reality. Lifting his head softly, his eyes focused in the dark cave, ears swivelled forward. Music, a song, his senses seemed to deem after a while, strange for his seclusive area, as he did not recall having any other around him - and if his children had someone gotten their sorry hinds home too early, they would hear a mouthful from the tired god. But, it sounded different, a female's voice, so that threw Terema for the wind, and too sweet and with a deflection in it that couldn't be Roho.

Then, just like that, it was gone - cut short and gone from his ears like the wind, his soul almost quivering by the loss. He almost leaned into the silence for a moment, before the sudden beckoning of attention came to him again, in the form of a sweet and simple question.

"H-Hello?" He fumbled out, before clearing his dusty voice before trying again. "Hello, who comes to my cave at this time?"

The first instant she didn't hear anything, she grew closer til she heard the immense sounding voice. It shook her inwardly but not in a fearful way.. but in way that seemed to fill her. Still, she took a step back and lifted her head with no fear in her voice. She was too whimsical to show it... as her roots certainly showed how she was able to be the gypsy she was today. "Israfel.. a lone traveler whom is dedicated to helping others.." Side stepping as she lowered her head to peer in a bit more then stopped her curiosity with a gentle nod.

"Pardon for disturbing you... Sir? I shall take my leave then, unless you are in need of some aid. I would only want to pay you back for disturbing you with my greatest intentions." She questioned on the inside that vibrated out of her vocal chords with a chime to them. Bowing her head down as the shells of her bracelets buckled together. Everything about her was musical.. her essence and the feel she gave off was plainly seen.

"No, no. I did not mean it that way" He murmured after a moment's silence, feeling meek by the response.

It was not in him to push another away, even if that's how he felt he had been doing since his life's undoing. Lifting himself to his diminished height, he beat his wings only once to dispel any dust that had built on them the last few days before he took some uncertain steps towards the voice, his odd eyes watching the figure who appeared at the mouth, ringing like the jewelry he had worn. . . or mostly worn everyday, his necklace now handed down to his first born, giving her the family reigns.

Taking a few more steps, he finally met the mouth of his little hole, his eyes taking a moment to take in the sunlight, it burned his eyes, like a scorned lover. "Forgive my rudeness" he almost-whispered, as he looked down at the pale lioness before him. "I'm not used to . . . company anymore."

Izzy took a hefty step back when the male approached, but knew that if she took another. It could be wildly disrespectful. So she stood there- getting up all the courage she could as she looked up at the form- and as he closed in. She almost gasped.. He was- was- The wings, the jewelry.. a pride leader? No... something more. A God! She knew they existed! She had danced for them so many years ago- and up to this day.. even now. Sung and danced when she could to their praise.

"Yo-your- oh.. My deepest- oh.." She quickly bowed her head before taking a few steps towards him.. The dust she could track when he moved. "I am truly sorry I have awaken you... " Ears padding down. "No- you are fine, I was the one... Company? Dear- are you here by yourself? Are you hurt?" Her face went tender as she looked at him with the most dearest eyes.. That compelling feeling of wanting to help... she felt like she was needed now- here, that feeling of getting drawn in...

Jamala had never been much of a fan of the whole grovelling thing, having lived with the mortals all his life and being one with them. Shuffling on his feet a little, he swished his tail back and forth, turning his head. "No reason to prostrate so much in front of me, dear, I'm just your average lion." He murmured softly in return to her stuttering, his ears laying back a little as he looked down to his old paws, before looking up again.

"Not so much hurt as, I feel . . ." he stopped, trying to think of the word, before sitting down again, his fingerfeathers of his wings brushing the ground a little. "I feel . . old. Tired and old. Do you know how that feels, my dear?" He queried to her. It was an odd question, but he couldn't help but constantly think about it, before turning his head to his side.

"Most call me Jamala, or Mala. God of Virtue, and whatnot, to get that by." He introduced himself lightly, as an afterthought.

"Oh I am sorry- ( bowing her head down ) .. Israfel. My name.. I ..used to dance for you...and sing!" Mostly it was to many other gods. The arts, music, and many others... She grouped them all, but she soon realized- that one. Was not all. "A regular lion?" She tried to feel that way- she closed her eyes to remember when she was a 'celerity' in her pride. Born of the best dancer and the best singer.. Gifted. A princess, but she wanted to work hard- and earn her way like the rest.. Somehow, that feeling brought her to the conclusion and understanding how he felt. Nodding to him with a sureness...

But the old part- she couldn't understand which then made her shake her head. "No... I am sorry." Her life- to this point was filled with anguish that she never felt sorry for. Never felt sad over- just pushed on. Hoped for a brighter tomorrow... Those memories of the past- she was young and probably had no stories to tell that would help ease the pain. She settled in her mind and body from the intital shock of seeing a beautiful creature like a God- and now seeing. They too- were like the rest of them.

"I've never met a god- forgive me... I'm not usually like this." Being slightly bashful. "But I can only imagen what you are going through... have you been here... alone? Surely you must have family- family makes one feel complete... doesn't it?" She didn't have that- but she found that in her traveling companions... a different sort of family. "If it helps- you don't look that old to me?" Brightly smiling to help assure her words to him..

Watching the youthful lioness bounce around and fumble over herself while she talked was kind of heart warming to the old god, her actions reminding him of his daughter to a small degree - precarious, but with the slightest lick of obediance that she had never shown in her movements. It warmed his hear a little, and left his muzzle with the softest of chuckles. Lifting his wings to try and save face, he should her head at her, before cocking it to one side.

"A dancer, are you?" He asked, trying to shake his sorrows a little, looking her over with odd eyes. "I've never really been around prides who dance and sing for a living, but. . . I have heard some good things about them from wanderers. . . " he trailed, before hearing her ask more questions.

"I . . . I do have family." He trailed, looking disheveled again. "I left them, for awhile. I have two children, and a sister, but I didn't want to have them see this side of me." He murmured to her, before cocking his head again, "Family did make it better . . . losing family on the other hand . . " he trailed, sighing.

"Well.." Then she started to tie her own knots in her throat over the prides. She- now didn't belong to one. No- she wasn't at all missed- or lost. They were gone. She sat slowly as he drew her in- hearing about him. A smile came to her face... a joyful one when he spoke about his family, it warmed her heart but then it turned sour quickly. The knot started to come back up as she gulped hard over her throat, and now- she took a few steps. That mood changed from a happy and stuttering one to touching as she softly- though he was large in size- she seemed unafraid to touch his paw.

"My pride is in the heavens now." Still tender faced and nodded softly. "I know what it's like... I'm the only one there is left from my family. But their in a better place now." She gripped his paw tight. "I always look forward- and smile... and I sing for them and dance for them now too..." Sighing softly...

"Losing family hurts a lot but- like your other family, I bet they miss that smile of yours. When you were once happy... I'm being silly aren't I- I'm sorry." Putting her other paw to her cheek and shaking her head. "I shouldn't barge in like that...I just... Even if you are- I mean... your just a regular lion... and when I see someone sad- I wanna make them smile." Looking up at him, there was a real concern- something soft and tender that was remarkably genuine...

The story that the lioness gave him hit close to him, his tail flickering as he looked away, his eyes reflecting the hurt he had been shouldering. "I know how you feel. . . I never had a pride, myself, but I've lost a lot." He murmured, "My . . . family has been lost to mortality, I understand where you come from."

Looking back to his den, his eyes looking at it with a affection that he wasn't certain where it had grown from, but having been there for a while now. Turning back to her, he raised his eyebrows to her. "They do, but I did not want to plague them further. I'm sure I'll see them again, I just don't want to lose any more than I already have, you know?" He finished, before looking down.

"I'm sure you'll find your way to finding a new home to smile, but if you'd like to rest your weary feet, I don't see why you can't stay here for a bit." He offered, feeling that he should at least let her stick around for a bit. . . she had been wandering for awhile, right?
