 Nero could barely remember who he was or even where he was for that matter. His whole body was in a throbbing pain, the world spinning and his ears ringing. Bringing one of his wings forward he used it to wipe his face as if to clear away the feeling only to growl deeply when no good came of the action. Opening green eyes he peered around the area, nothing look out of place. Then again the woods were the woods and would be nothing more or less to him no matter his location. There was however something that caught his eye and sent a shiver of excitement down his spine. A mare sitting merely a few feet away from him. His ears set back and he bared his fangs at her like a feral beast, "Mare, do you not know the child's story ones parents reads to them to steer them clear of the likes of my kind?" His words were a hiss, though an Irish accent could be picked up faintly.

 The mare lifted her head when she had picked up faint movement from the stallion. Her head tilting as she watched him. When his movement quickly changed into aggression towards her she felt a chill run cold through her whole body. She knew the stories, she knew them well and far more than the ones that your parents told you to keep you away from a skinwalker to keep your own hide safe. "I know them.. I really do. Though even if it should mean my death I will not fear helping somebody who is in pain. I do not know what has happened to you but I do know that it appears you don't even remember yourself." There was a soft frown on her face. "I can say however... In your condition I do not fear for my life as I doubt you could barely make it this far to attack me." Her ears gave the faintest flick, her eyes not straying from him to be cautious.

Nero growled, taking the mare's words as a sort of annoying taunt. His condition? Even the worst mauling couldn't slow him down, despite feeling as if he had been hit by a meteor or something. Quickly getting to his feet the ringing in his head grew louder and the world began to spin twice as fast, quickly he found himself collapsing back to the ground before he could even take a step. Stupid mare! Groaning and shaking his head the ringing didn't seem as if it wanted to fade, he had to of hit his head fairly hard during whatever had happened to leave himself in such condition. Snapping in the mare's direction he flared his wings, baring his teeth threateningly. Oh if he could get over there she would surely understand the stories that were told! "Mare you push your luck greatly with your words!"

Uzi's face held the smile as she shook her head at the stallions miserable attempts to get to his feet, "No no.. I do not mean to taunt you with words, but only speak knowingly with what you don't seem to grasp." Rising to her own feet her small deer like tail gave the faintest of wiggles as she took a step towards him, "Also.. I know it isn't in your nature exactly but.. It would be far nicer if I wasn't called mare. My name is Uzi. If you're up for telling me I wouldn't mind knowing yours. After all then I can spread the name of a big bad scary skinwalker hm?" She couldn't help but give a small giggle after her words. She knew it would simply anger the large and dangerous soquili further but she couldn't keep the sound to herself.

Nero gave the mare another growl, his wings shifting and beating against the ground in irritation as he looked at her, "The name you will want to spread then worm.. is Nero." He noted her name was Uzi but paid no real acknowledgment to the mare as far as a response went. Pitiful. Ending up in a condition that he couldn't even get up to show the mare who the boss around here was. "Do not think you will be getting away from me so easily mare." He hissed, "You will not be leaving until I am well. Just encase I get hungry and decide you to be a fitting snack to aid my recovery!" His thick furred tail flicked behind him like a predator watching pray. "Is this understood?" Should the mare say no he was just about ready to try getting up to charge at her again.

Uzi gave the stallion a subtle smile and nodded, "Nero, that name leaves a bit to being a mystery. I guess that reflects the mark on you hind leg very well." Moving close to the stallion despite knowing the risks she moved close to his face, moving away quickly when the skinwalker snapped at her. "Hold on, I just want to check your eye, did you not notice?" Nero paused his actions as Uzi leaned in to examine his face, could that have been why he was so disoriented and his head was spinning to the point he couldn't stand? He'd also realized there that when he looked up at her that the vision in one of his eyes was bloodshot. "You're really lucky you know that? The wound appears to show that your eye managed to avoid getting any damage at all aside from a small grazing over your eyelid." Giving him a small nudge on the side of the neck she wiggled her tail before moving a safe distance away again and laying down. "You have my word Nero, I will stay by you."
