DayDreamer427 (12:04:00 AM): Kal had spent the early morning with the female. He joyed the time he spent with her. Today he learned how she communicates. Somehow this female was able to show even Kal himself had a heart. He had just met her and something that was going to be a hit and run ended up becoming something more. How? Well not even Kal himself knew all he knew was she did soething no one else could... She made him happy.
Kaori_luv (12:15:44 AM): Mazhira lay in the shade hiding from the heat of the day. The morning had melted away giving way to beaming rays of light that warmed everything on the savannah, but Mazhira lay content looking at her companion with a small happy grin. She had a friend, a best friend and in such a short time. It was like a dream and Mazhira did not wish to be awakened.
She stretched and rolled lazily onto her side, giving silent yawn and closing her eyes, her tail flopping about. She wasn't asleep just resting, it had been such a fun lovely morning.
DayDreamer427 (12:24:34 AM): Kal watched the female admirring her. Recently everything has been perfect. He had a friend who he was growing very fond of. Kal found himself staring off into space pondering what he knew and didnt know about his new friend and he realized something well... important. He looked over to the black lioness, "Will i ever know you name?" This saddened him of some level not being able to know her name but does it really matter if their happy?
Kaori_luv (12:35:30 AM): Hira opened her eyes and looked at her friend with a slight frown, she rolled over and shrugged. She could teach him the sign, but she wasn't sure he would understand. Or she could try to tell him, but would she be able to. Honestly she did not want to speak, for once it did not matter and so she hoped he was not upset with her answer.
She pointed to him as if to say I do not know your name either. Its not as though she could really ask for it or call him by it so it did not really matter to him.
She sat up and brought her paw to her chest before repeating the sign from early resembling, day than stars.
DayDreamer427 (12:45:56 AM): Kal looked at her, oh no she was signing again. She pointed at him, he tilted him head. "Me? My name? My name is Mkali'Shetani but you may call me Kal." He smiled.
Mkali was a name given to him not by his parents for he didnt know them... It was given by the familes that rejected to take him in... It ment blue devil... Kal was never mean as a cub... he grew up being rejected so he put himself in a position of power... but she saw beyond his looks for something no one bothered to get to know... his true personality
Kaori_luv (1:02:10 AM): Mazhira nodded, but she did not try to talk. Kal was a nice name, so she smiled to let him know she like it, even though the smile fell away quickly. After a moment she narrowed her eyes light and shook her head no. No. No. No.
She lifted a paw and pointed to him and made her sign for moon and gave a smile. She was being childish, but she couldn't say his name, so she was a bit irritated at the name thing. She couldnt or rather did not really wish to return the favor, and her sudden behavior changed showed it.
DayDreamer427 (12:22:09 AM): He tried his best to follow her gestures. She pointed at him, "Me?" He asked. Then she made the moon symbol once again. "Moon?" Kal still wasnt completely understanding. "Me and the moon? I am the moon? I look like the moon?" Kal began gueesing what she was trying to tell him and he knew he was probably miserably failing.
She started to make the other symbol, "Sun?" He questioned. "You and the sun?" He paused for a moment trying to figure out what she was trying to tell him.
"I am the moon and your the sun?" He still wasnt sure if he was right he just hoped he was at least getting closer to the true answer.
Kaori_luv (12:30:38 AM): Hira lit up to hear Kal guessing closer and closer to what she was trying to say. It seemed her was a fast or at least very determined learner. She nodded quickly at each question and gave a bright smile when she asked the last nodding happily.
She repeated the sign once more smiling, it wasn't exactly right, in that Mazhira was bright in personality much like the sun, so that what she used to mean Mazhira, but at least Kal did shine much like the moon in the night sky.
She then frowned slightly realizing he probably would not ever know her name. Her real name the one her mother gave her. The one thus far that she had only been able to give to three others. The last of which had been a real struggle.
She opened her mouth to try to speak, but nothing came and after a few moment she stopped feeling as though she might cry. She did want her friend, her first true friend outside her family to know her name.
DayDreamer427 (12:49:47 AM): Kal looked at her, she smiled so he knew he must be saying something right. That was good he wasnt a complete babbiling idiot. But then she saw her smiled fade.
He wondered what was wrong with her, he would probably always wonder....He saw her try to speak. It hurt him on the inside.
He went up to her and gently nuzzled against her neck. "Its ok, I'll find out your name one day. Dont be sad..." He hoped he would know her name one day, but even if he didnt that wouldnt change his feelings.... a name is just a name... He looked at the female in front of him and gave her a small lick on the cheek. "Its okay,dont be sad" He said with a soft smile.
Kaori_luv (12:55:26 AM): Hira enjoyed the nuzzle from her friend, a friend she was starting to really care for. A friend who had successfully deteried her path home and was quickly becoming a lion she wanted to be around always. She did not need to speak for him and he seemed to understand her all the same. He made talking in itself seem wholely unimportant.
She could however, give him one thing. A contented purr escaped her through, letting him know she could indeed make noise, even if she couldn't talk at the moment. It was like a thank you for being her. She was smiling again now, her frustrations easily melted away by Kal. One day she would talk for him even if today was not that day.
