He'd left Junko by the tree with his room key and a promise to meet her there after she'd gone and gathered her things up. It left him with perhaps an hour at best before she'd make her way back towards the ghost dorms, and that was why he had started jogging as soon as he'd moved out of sight of the ghoul. Running through the small graveyard that decorated the front lawn and into the chilly tomb that rested at ground level, and down the stairs to the common room. Pausing to search the area for a familiar mane of blue curls before moving on.

She hadn't been out there, not that he'd expected her to be, he knew her opinion on it. She had to be in her room.. Or out on campus somewhere and this little trip was pointless. He shoved that train of thought aside for now, considering it useless.

Turning down a hall, she stalked down the length of it before stopping at Sarias' door. Human hand curling into a fist at his side as she stared at the wood grain before him. Trying to school his anger, then wondering why the hell he was bothering. With a frustrated growl he lay the heel of his hand against her door, hard. Pounding against the wood in a most insistent and infuriated manner.

Sarias had been sitting at the end of her bed after a day of staring at the unopened letter in her hand, the letter she never wanted to open but was tempting her so badly…so she decided it could last another day being stared at in the other hand…and then it looked good locked up in her draw and then finally fed to her Mimic which to her delight nearly ripped it in half and drooled upon it as expected. Yet sadly it was still readable after she lost her nerve and had to check (a fight ensued, somebody lost some fingers and the mimic ended up being locked in her wardrobe.) But what really pissed her off was that she had lost her nerve! Lost her nerve! This was Sarias, she never lost her nerve, no one ever scared her. Well maybe not one person, a group maybe…or a coven. Sighing deeply she could help the feeling in the pit of her stomach grow with every restless tick of the clock. She couldn't put off opening the letter forever, even if she knew what it would read it was somehow more acceptable to ignore it...but...she couldn't, not with what was waiting for her and she shuddered to think about it. Luckily she didn't have to dwell about it, the knock that smashed against her door was strong and snapped her out of her day dream like a whip. Her face automaticly adopted the frown lines she had become accustomed too and without further hesitation she prepared her vocal cords to scream bloody murder down the ears of those who chose to disturbed her.

The door was taken from beneath said tapping hand with a rush of wind, the ghoul standing her ground not even registering who was doing the knocking as she bellowed her rage at being interrupted doing...well nothing, but it was her nothing!

“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT! YOU LITTLE SH-its....Seiji?” Her brows furrowed for a second, her friend, her supposed friend was looking extremely pissed off.

“...I mean it though what are you doing here?”

The screaming began before the door had even opened, and the ghost boil was left glaring down at the banshee wailing into his chest. Eyes narrowing with every rage filled syllable before the shouting cut off abruptly as she realized who she was talking to. That tiny flicker of surprise rather satisfying, but not nearly enough. She was lucky she was ghoul, even if a gruff, brutal one. Had she been a boil instead Seiji would have already grabbed him by the collar and shoved him into a wall. As it was, the temptation was still strong.

"What am I doing here?" He echoed her, voicing taking on cold sort of amusement that didn't reflect in hardened eyes or the clenched set of his jaw. Pissed didn't quite cover it, he was livid. Not only had she laid hands on Junko, hurt her, but in doing so she'd betrayed his friendship. "Really?" Come on now, she had to have seen this coming.

Unless..

"Did you assume she wasn't going to tell me what happened?" It wasn't outside the scoop of possibilities. Hell, considering what Junko said of Saria's opinion of her, it was a damn good assumption.

Sarias stood her ground as the boil became enraged before her, shock registering on her face, but only just, she regained composer just as quickly as he spoke to her. It would have been exciting, thrilling even if it wasn’t for it being Seiji. Oh why did he have to be the one at the door? But either way that horrible mixture of pride, stubbornness and stupidity quickly formed in her mind for an answer and friend or not, no one comes to her door shouting.

“Geesh a little moody are we today?” she grinned selfishly as she leaned against the door frame. “All that pent up frustration does nothing for you Seiji, why don’t you ask you little ghoul for a hand out, seems to me like you need it.” The sarcasm was rising up her throat with every word she spoke, her own frustration showing through. “How dare her, how dare he accuse me of things.”

“Going to tell you? Oh you mean that little chat your ghoulfriend forced out of me? Why am surprised it wasn’t the first thing she did, go crying to you. Wow Seiji, you sure can pick them.”

A little moody? Well.. Maybe a little, but he'd been well on his way to a wonderful mood before he'd caught sight of the bruises that lined Junko's throat like a macabre necklace. They had been dark, and you could see each and every finger. Of course she had to hit him where it hurt. Clueless as she was to his relationship with Junko, she managed to hit the nail on the head with her biting comments towards pent up frustrations. He was, but that was really none of her bloody business. His response to the comment was a curl of lips as he planted his hands on the door frame, leaning inwards until their faces were only a few inches apart.

"She didn't come tattling to me, or I would have come here sooner." He left it at that, she didn't need the details.

"And you don't know anything about her, or our relationship." He wasn't yelling anymore, but there was venom in his voice as he spoke. Shoulders stiff with tension and the desire to lash out. "In fact, it seems to me that you've been doing nothing but meddle and try to break us up since you found out." The cold look in his eyes as he glared at her begged for a challenge to anything he'd said. Dared her to try to defend her behavior."

"We're supposed to be friends, aren't we? At least I had always considered you a friend at the very least. Perhaps you're not the nicest ghoul in the world, but that hadn't mattered to me." Dark claws dug into the wood beside her head. "So tell me, Sarias. Were you behaving like a friend every time to tried to make her jealous? Every flirty little comment or idle touch?" He'd let it go, let it all go, because he hadn't wanted to start the drama. Hadn't wanted to yell at his friend. Had hoped things would work out in the long run. He'd been mistaken.

"Was I ever really your friend in all that? Or just another means to amuse yourself while you stirred drama?"

Sarias was very aware of her rising anger at this point, she couldn't see what he was getting at, at all. She never tried to steal him, far from it. She had never been interested in Seiji that way, of course it had crossed her mind but anything moving always stirred a thought in her head. The new body had given her a lease of life she wasn't prepared to give up, she wanted to explore it to all its limits, so sadly that came with a few desires to boot. Sue her. Yet this wasn't about temptation, no this was about a ghoul who felt she had the right to ******** up her day. With a shudder of rage she contained her self before shrugging at the enraged boil, she turned around but left the door open for him to enter if he so wished. She did have better things to do that have idle chatter with an over dramatic ghost.

"You fail to see the truth Seiji." she tutted as she walked back to her room, it was pristine as normal, not a thing out of place as she walked up to her writing desk. The letter she had been eyeing before carefully placed to one side and her fingers brushed it slightly.

"You have it all wrong boil."
she added with her own spite, she wasn't going to be accused of anything, let alone from someone she had consider a friend. She breathed out slowly trying to stem the anger. She didn't want to shout at him but her head was starting to hurt from the tension at not letting her voice be heard.

"I have never wanted to break you and that little ghoul up. If you dare to think I would even see you in that light, well your sadly mistaken. I do have standards and you fall short of them. But i overlooked that because you were able to provide light relief from this drab existence." She grabbed a letter knife from the table and started to play with it between her palms, the memory of the confrontation with Junko pricking at her mind like the steel on her skin.

"If your ghoul friend ever felt jealous it was of her own pitying self esteem. I treat everyone the same, you must know that, i have yet to find someone who benefits from my...nicer conversations, as you put it I am not the most 'friendliest' ghost in this world..."
With a sudden fit of rage she slammed the knife tip into the wood, the vibration running through it as it pirouetted on the desk before standing stock still.

"Yet YOU think, you of all people, feel i need to get my cheap frills from that abscess that follows you around? Don't get me wrong, very happy for you and all that, you could do much worse but i have yet to meet the ghoul! But don't you dare come here and accuse me of something that she propelled! Because of her weakness she felt threatened by me, well sorry boil, but am not here to play nurse maid to whining little cess-pots like her. I never wanted to speak to her, i don't care for her existence. BUT SHE CAME TO ME!" The ghoul was shrieking now as she worked herself up into a frenzy, her body heaving with deep breaths as she paced the room back and forth to relieve some of the stress.

"She wanted to exert herself against something she felt threatened by, but don't you dare think I would have taken that lying down! You don't know me at all boil if you did. If some little s**t came up to me and threw down all her worries and pathetic complaints should i just take it? WELL! She acted first Seiji, not I! and i will not stand here and have you say this was my fault. She had a choice! She could have spoken to you, you could have spoken to me!"
With that she stopped walking and looked over at him, the first sign of hurt in her eyes, but only a little.

"I would have stopped if you had spoken to me first boil, but instead she took it upon herself. But more fool her."

The boil snorted as the ghoul walked away from the door and left it open for him to walk in, which he did. Actually shutting the door behind him. Obviously not exactly a wise decision, but the entire dorm didn't need to hear their screaming match. It wasn't anyone else's business, and certainly not some random spooks he had no connection to other then sharing a race with.

He was curious now what her response might be if he had in fact failed to see the truth of the matter. By all means willing to hear some contributing factors towards the situation and everything that stemmed from it. But he hadn't expected to hear that. It made him straighten, eyes narrowing, but now puzzled as well as angry. "When did I ever say this had anything to do with you being attracted to me?" There was a harsh humor in his voice when he spoke, arms folding across his chest. "You didn't need to have a reason to want to stir s**t between us, certainly nothing like an attraction, it was just fun for you." The corner of his lip twitched in a smile that had absolutely nothing to do with happiness. "You'd have tried much harder if you'd actually wanted something more then entertainment." He wasn't stupid. He might have had a bit of an ego, but he certainly didn't assume every ghoul wanted him.

He could have commented on the likes of her standards, through the boggart in her face, but he didn't. choosing to stay on track and not distract the matter with petty one-upping and sharp comments. There was enough ammunition to play with without adding to it.

"You can defend yourself all you damn well want Sarias, but the fact of the matter remains. There would have been no need for talking, no need for jealousy or confrontation, if you hadn't been needling and baiting her in the first placed." He stalked towards her, poking a finger into her chest rather harder then he'd meant to, but he was pissed. "You knew she didn't think that highly of herself, knew she had worries, and you played on those insecurities. Not because you wanted anything out of it, but because it amused you, and that makes it worse." He gave her another couple pokes, punctuation his points. "She just wanted to stand up to you and show you she was strong, you tried to kill her." The last was said through clenched teeth.

"What sort of person cares so little about their friends that they got out of their way to mistreat and play with people they care about? Huh? You didn't care about me, and you didn't care about our friendship." He was shouting again, letting his anger boil over. He couldn't hit anything, so the only outlet was the volume of his voice.

"What are you just speaking for me now!" She screamed back as he shouted at her, his body language edging towards crazed.

"Dont you dare say you know me, or who i care about! You know nothing! If I made a mistakes I will own up to them, but I will never regret how i acted, not to you or her or anyone! I told you am not here to hold her hand Seiji! If the little s**t can't protect herself now that i seriously weep for her when she goes out into the real world. She'll be eaten alive, you should be thanking me, I gave the b***h a backbone!"

Who said arguments needed to make sense?

Yet Sarias was no longer playing now, nearly breaking her teeth when the poking started as he roared out every syllable. Her mouth clenched together with gritted fangs as she resisted the urge to snap his fingers off. The novelty of this talk was wearing of fast and she made sure her knew about it as she slap his hand away, a fierce growl emanating from her throat as she stared him down.

"Don't make me regret this Seiji, words have been spoken that we can never take back. I think you should leave unless you want this to become much worse than what you've made it!"

She slapped his hand away and it curled into a fist, hanging in the air a moment before slowly lowering back to his side. Oh, she was getting pissed now, well good. She could play with someone that was bigger, stronger. She wasn't going to push him into striking the first blow, but he would sure as hell end things quickly if she raised a hand against him. Ghoul or not, he was not taking her abuse.

"Am I lying? Has anything I said been untrue?" She sure hadn't denied anything so far, so he kind of doubted it. No, instead she deflecting, and that was really only making things worse. She hadn't admitted to anything, but she wasn't denying it either. It hurt, the thought that she hadn't cared for him, for their friendship. "You started this! With your selfish poking and prodding. You weren't doing this for her, so what were you doing it for?"

He snorted again, growling at her. "I should be thanking you? For trying to kill her? For scaring her half to death?" He almost laughed, but it would have been a bitter sound. "You didn't give her a backbone, you took it away!"

"If you don't already regret this then you are a real piece of work." It didn't seem like he was ready to go anywhere. "Stop deflecting, stop blaming everyone but yourself."
PostPosted: Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:49 pm

"Huh?" Now it was Sarias turn to start laughing as the boil gave her the ultimatum. Did he really think she was blaming it on someone else? Oh no he had it all wrong. What happened, happened. It was going to play out like that no matter if Junko and she had been acquainted, even friends. No one came and insulted her. No one.

"Ha! You think i wouldn't own up to my own doings? Seiji I blame your little s**t of a ghoulfriend for starting it. But I finished it! Its not my fault she had a problem with me, she hadn't spoke two words to me before dragging me off to tell me what she thought, so how would i know i was getting to her?" She knew this was wasted time, Seiji had made up his mind already, this was just dragging it out for as long as possible. What did he want? Did he want to fight her? Well she may be a ghoul be gender or sex did not come into this. She would rip his eyes out before he lay a finger on her. What the point of this now? She was getting no where, she had spoken her peace, stood her ground. If he wanted someone to hate...well.

"You know what Seiji. Your right! I did it for my own amusement, i found it funny, ******** that it was funny. I wanted to see her squirm and cry and wet herself in fear of me. It was hilarious watching her eyes roll in to the back of her head! You should have been there, I got more action out of her than you ever have!" She grinned and bared her teeth in an unattractive laugh before storming past the ghost with thunderous steps, her clawed hands almost splintering the door as she ripped it open, her face a mask of disgust and fury.

"NOW GET OUT! Your worthless ghoulfriend needs her pathetic Boilfriend to hold her pissing hand. Take my advice, get a leash for the b***h!"

"Do you really think," He hissed at her. "That there was any time for that sort of talk on that wretched island?" Why hadn't anyone spoken up sooner? Well, it hadn't seemed quite as important at the time, considering all their lives were in danger. There had been mistakes made by all parties, miscommunications and errors, he wasn't without blame himself, nor was Junko, but neither of them had tried to do real bodily harm. It hadn't been the flirting, it hadn't been the comments, it had been her white hands around Junko's neck that had sparked all this.

And now she was gloating about it. He'd been wrong, the banshee ghoul would push him to violence first. He took two long steps towards the ghoul where she stood beside the door, and his human hand shot out to wrap around her throat, dragging her back to him.

"The only pathetic one I see is the little ghoul in front of me that has no ******** idea how to be anything but a stingy, selfish b***h." He shoved her away from him and went for the door. "I pity you, Sarias."

With that he was gone, stalking off down the hall towards his own room and the ghoul he knew was waiting for him. He had friends, real friends, and he had a ghoulfriend that cared for him, and adopted parents that loved him. He had everything, what did she have?
PostPosted: Tue Jun 21, 2011 8:22 am

The ghost saw the attack coming, how could she not? She can see the violence in his eyes; sensed it way before he ever acted upon it. She herself fed of the emotion daily how could she not know the reaction that she could stir within someone. Yet at this moment she let it happen. She wanted to see how far this boil would take it. Was he any better than her? After all his words on violence, his want for a peaceful solution between Sarias & Junko that faithful day, what would he do now? She had her thoughts, her musings and as the fingers curled round her neck she knew her answer. She knew what she had always known with this boil, he could deny it all he wanted, but it would always be there and he just proved it. “You are no different from me…”

His words fell on deaf ears as he held her close, the pads on his finger digging into her skin as she couldn’t think of anything more than to laugh in his face. Gargled and strained the laugh escaped frothing lips slowly gaining momentum as it began ricocheting of the walls, growing louder and louder as it followed the ghost boil out when he left down the corridor and out of sight, leaving her bent double as the tears and the cackle continued unheeded. She staggered slightly, leaning against the wall as her ribs ached from the force, her chest heaving as she struggled to calm herself with this whole event echoing in her mind. She couldn’t believe that had actually happened!? Seiji! Of everyone she knew she would never thought he would have the balls to do this…he was a…he was…

He iS a fooL…NoThing morE thAN a stUpId wrEtchED FOoL

She held her head as the words bounced back between the empty chambers of her mind, her voice echoing like a bad dream stuck in her thoughts. Her body swayed over to the mirror on the south wall, suddenly wanting something to lean against and she clung to its side with shaking hands. Its gorgeous carved runes enlightening when she walked near and it hummed gently as she peered deep into herself. There. A slight imprint of a hand on her neck but nothing that would leave a mark, he was still reluctant even with all that rage. “Heh…what a fool, I would have killed me…filthy mongrel.” Bringing a hand to her skin she touched her neck softly, mouth twisting into a smile as she viewed his handy work. “Maybe not quite like me…” she sighed regrettably, oh how her head was swimming. The need to rest it against the cool surface of the glass was overwhelming but she couldn’t stop staring at the marks. The marks he caused, that he did, what a crappy job he had done. “Uhh…what an idiot!” He was no better than anyone that she had met before, why hadn’t she seen that? He was weak and stupid and a pitiful display of a ghost. Couldn’t even finish the job. He was nothing…that’s right, nothing. Nothing to her, nothing to anyone! He was nothing! He was Nothing, HE iS noThIng, nothing, NoTHinG, nothing, NOtHInG! NOTHING!! NOTHING!! “AAIIIIIIIIIII!!” Her hands slammed into the mirror with such force is shook itself off the wall hinges. She did it again and again and again until she found her fists embedded with glass, the masterpiece shattered beyond hope, but the relief, oh the overwhelming relief was immense, so much so that her fists rapidly found others things to touch with claws and nails and teeth and blood and sweat and tears…

…And soon enough her pristine room wasn’t so pristine anymore…
