Chi-Chi stared at the two in front of her. They were both so alien to her, yet she could immediately see herself in both of them. She could also see their father in them as well. Their father. Even thinking that was weird. How could she and Schuyler be parents? Thinking about it made her cheeks flush. She should probably say something, but what? Words escaped her, he couldn't even stammer.
"Helloooooo? Anyone in there? Are you just gonna gawk at us all day or are you actually gonna say hi at some point?" Ai said before crossing her arms and rolling her eyes. Her mom was being so awkward. Hopefully her dad wasn't as bad.

Schuyler was also confused. "How... did this happen exactly?" He was kind of scared to be a parent now, but having Chi-Chi as the kid's mother did help quite a bit. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, to comfort her or himself he didn't know.
Merlin smiled a bit. "Well, how do you think we got here?" He couldn't help but want to mess with them a bit, but he was happy to finally meet the two. Ai though was acting as she usually did. He almost rolled his eyes. Instead his antenna just twitched a bit.

Chi-Chi lowered her ears a bit. Things weren't going very well, but feeling Schu's arm around her eased her anxious thoughts somewhat.
"Oh jeez, Dad, seriously?" Ai had to stop herself from face palming. "Well since neither of her two seem to be capable of an actual greeting let me start things off. "Hi Mom and Dad, Merlin and I sure are glad to see you! See? That wasn't so bad."
"R-right! It's n-nice to see b-both of you. Though this is, um, a-a bit of a shock." Chi-Chi said with a nervous smile. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad, sure they were getting off to a rocky start, but that didn't mean the world was going to end. . . right?

Schuyler smiled a bit. "Sorry this is just... very surprising for us. We are just wondering how this happened." He said, trying to show his regretfulness. He almost wanted to blush. Our kids... and they are almost nothing like us. He chuckled a bit.
Merlin sighed. He guessed that their parents would be surprised. It seemed like they didn't even know he and Ai existed, which is kind of weird, considering how kids are made... "Ai it's all right. I'm sure this is a stressful meeting for all of us." He liked being sarcastic, but he only did it when trying to joke or make a situation lighter.

"Well it would be less awkward if we just moved on. We're here now so what's the point in worrying about how we got here?" Ai said in a huff. She had a feeling this was going to take a while, even if they did just move on like she suggested.
"Um, O-O.K." Chi-Chi said as she began to fiddle with her sleeves. She should do or say something to redeem herself. What were parents supposed to do? She looked at Schuyler, pleading for help.

Schuyler sighed. This was going to take some getting used to. Looking at Chi he gave her a light smile and a small hug. "Well, I guess we should get to know each other then. So you're Ai and Merlin. Good, well what do you guys like?" Might as well start with something easy.
Merlin smirked a bit. "History myself, but watch out, I do love being sarcastic." Well, their parents weren't bad at least. They could probably get along.

Good, Schu had started a conversation topic. Things were moving along. Chi-Chi breathed a small sigh a of relief.
"I like horror movies and reading Poe poems." Ai said as she adjusted her glasses.
Chi-Chi perked up a bit. She liked Edgar Allen Poe's works and some horror movies. Maybe she could connect with her daughter over that.

Merlin smirked. His sister was hiding something and he knew it. Shaking his head a bit he looked back at his parents again. "Sorry, Ai is a bit... brash sometimes." He said, flicking her shoulder a bit.
Schuyler nodded. He couldn't help but notice how much their kids looked like them. "Hmm.... well it seems we all like reading, at least a bit. There's a good study in here if you guys ever want to see it.

"Ow!" Ai said as she rubbed her shoulder, glaring at her brother.
"Reading certainly i-is a nice w-way to pass the time." Chi-Chi said.
"Do you stutter like that all the time? Jeez, that could get annoying." Ai said.
Chi-Chi lowered her ears again. Things defiantly weren't going well with her. She looked over at Merlin. She still wasn't quite sure about him yet, but he seemed to be more tolerable than Ai. "D-do you prefer a certain culture's h-history?" she asked.

"Don't worry about her mom." He replied, smirking at his sister's reaction. "I like all cultures, but I think Greek and South American cultures are my favorite."
"Don't nag at your mother like that AI, whether you like it or not she is your mother." Schu said, trying to defend Chi. He turned back to... his son. "That's interesting. So, I guess we should show you guys your rooms, since I'm guessing you don't want to share with us." He chuckled a bit.

"Yeah, I'd like my own room, 'kay thanks." Ai said dryly.
Chi-Chi looked at Schu. She didn't know where there rooms were. She would just follow him. Her own confidence in this situation had dropped.

"Our own rooms would be nice, I won't have to sleep with Ms. Sunshine over here then." He replied, laughing. "Really Ai, they didn't even have to meet us if they didn't want to."
Schu almost blushed. His son laughed like him, even though that wasn't determined by genetics, it seemed his son had gotten it even without him there. "Sure, they're this way." He said, guiding Chi-Chi aways a bit. After he and Chi had gotten the letter from Merlin he had asked for two rooms near theirs so they could be close to them.
((I'm just going to assume this since i think they would have gotten at least some warning of their kids arrival))

"Yeah, Yeah." Ai said with a roll of her eyes. She wanted to meet them, but so far they weren't living up to her expectations. So she simply followed her father to see where her room would be.
Chi-Chi put a hand on his shoulder as they walked. "Of c-course we wanted to meet you!" she said to her son. She wouldn't have been able to handle the guilt if she hand't, plus she was highly curious how her surprise children came out.

Merlin smiled at his mother. "We may not act like it, but we're glad we were able to see you. We hadn't heard anything about you though so we weren't sure what to expect. But so far, I like, well I suppose I should say love since I am your son, you two so far." He replied, hugging Chi before following Schu.
Schu shook his head. Ai might be a bit of a problem, but she didn't seem too bad. He smiled as Merlin hugged Chi, hopefully she would feel better. Moving he went down a few feet and then turned around to make sure the rest of his family, that would take some getting used to, was following him.

Chi-Chi was a bit surprised when she received the hug. She smiled and flushed with happiness. Maybe things weren't as bad as she thought. Her son just admitted to kind of loving her just now and Ai. . . Well, she didn't appear to hate her? She could work with her more later. For now Merlin seemed happy with her.
Ai kept close to Schu. She wanted to know where her room was, but she also wanted to keep an eye on him. She hadn't quite made up her mind about him yet.
