FAQ
Q) What is this exactly?
A) An art trade is where one artist draws another artist's character, with the agreement that the other artist will draw theirs. Meaning if you draw for someone, they will draw for you back. Usually they are an exchange of equal worth. I.E. a chibi for a chibi, a headshot for a headshot.
Q) Can it be an Original Character?
A) That depends on the artist you exchange with. Most artists won't care, and some may actually prefer to draw an orignal character rather than an avie.
Q) How do I know who I'll be exchanging with?
A) Well right now what we can do is either use the random number generator or some other super high tech way to pick who draws who.
Q) What do I do if I suddenly have to go on haitus from Gaia?
A) Well by agreeing to participate you agree to draw for someone else. If rl gets in the way and you find you will not have time to finish that person's art please contact either them or us (crew) right away so we can see if we can find someone else to trade with them. THE LONGER YOU WAIT THE MORE LIKELY THEY WILL HAVE DONE ART FOR YOU. If this occurs you HAVE to either pay them a gold amount they decide on for their work or draw a piece in return. We prefer you do the second of the two since that's what they signed up for. So if you sign up to do this please make sure you have the time to do so.
Q) Why does the Art have to be PG13?
A) It follows the Gaiaonline T.O.S. which you can read either at that link or this one. And even though this is a guild it is a public guild and besides we don't want to get Mango Boo or Monkey Pai in trouble.
