During mathematics Mitsu had agreed to help Shun study and work on his homework. While the reaper didn't exactly seem eager about this Mitsu had meant it. She was very willing to help out especially since he had been such a help to her so far. It was only fair by one means and its what friends would do for each other right? They were friends, right? Right! Or...he merely tolerated her existence.

A little perplexed by this thought Mitsu made her way into the reaper's dormitory, the dark exterior sending chills down her spine. Not that the monster dorms were much better, but at least they were....colorful. Trying to remember the path they had taken Mitsu followed the few things she remembered seeing. While at times it looked like she was taking in things like a small curious child she was actually trying to memorize her path. The lupine's sense of direction was quite lacking but she was pretty good at remembering landmarks....most of the time.

This time she was in luck though, or she hoped. The door and area looked familiar in the least. Shuffling the books, papers, and pencils in her arms Mitsu raised a hand to gently knock. She had called a couple of minutes prior to forewarn the reaper, not wanting to stop by unannounced.

As soon as she was done knocking Mitsu replaced her hand to help hold her things least she risk dropping them all over the floor. Her ears had picked up the faint sound of guitar notes from within his room so she had to wonder if he had even heard her at all. Maybe she should call again? It didn't seem like that was necessary though as Shun soon made his way to the door opening it up to find her.

"Y-yes I said I would help," Mitsu gave a nod. "Homework is important." At least to her it was. To Shun is obviously wasn't but she was here to help improve that! She had learned from his groanspring that he had trouble reading so if that was the case she could help ease that problem.

"Were you playing your guitar?" She asked curiously shuffling the things in her arms since all the books were starting to get a little heavy.

Mitsu's ears fell back a little at Shun's tone. She was just trying to help and make things easier for him. "B...but I can help." Mitsu said softly as she made her way through the door allowing the reaper to help her with some of her things before they fell. She really hoped that Shun didn't feel like her being here was a hassle.

Once her hands were a bit more free Mitsu reached up hesitantly to touch her mask. She was within his dorm now and out of sight of the others so it would be okay right? He had seen her face after all. Slowly she pushed the mask up so that it sat on top of her head instead of on her face. Once her face was visible she glanced up at Shun briefly before her eyes settled on the guitar in his room. She hadn't heard much of what he had been playing but what she had heard how sounded nice. It was too bad he didn't like to play around other people, of course....neither did she.

"What homework do you have? I can always help by reading stuff out for you." She hoped if she stressed her willingness to help Shun would understand. Mitsu just wanted to be a good friend, she wanted to be useful and helpful to others.

"I..it's what friends do right? T-they help each other?" She was worried to say that, her facial expression showing her emotion clearly, almost expecting Shun to tell her they weren't friends, but why had he been so nice to her then?

Turning to the desk where he had set her books, Mitsu picked up the small stack of papers to have a look. Some of the subjects she really knew nothing about. Hexes, spells, and charms? Well, she could read it to him at least. Who knew, maybe she would learn something. She always liked to read up on different things even if something like this was impossible for her.

"W-what would you like to start on?"

That attempt at a smile tugged at Mitsu's lips when Shun confirmed that's what friends did for one another. It looked like she truly struggled to really smile though because her face soon fell to a more hallow expression as he started to grab for a book.

Her expression stayed rather blank for only a few more seconds until the first few words of the 'title' hit Mitsu's ears. Ears almost wilting back her eyes got rather large her mouth slightly a gap with shock. "H...hexes, spells, and c-c-c-charms. Right." She stuttered out doing a horrible job of playing off like she hadn't heard what he had said first.

"T-t-then let's start with that," She nodded taking the book in an almost robotical way. From there Mitsu stiffly moved to the floor where she had a seat her fingers nervously pulling back the front cover of the book. "W-what chapter are you on?"

As soon as she had the chapter Mitsu flipped to the right section setting the book down on the floor so that she could read from a comfortable distance. She was about to start but Shun's question made her pause. Turning toward him she gave a nod.

"Of course I am. I don't mind helping. I like to read and learn new things so it works out for the both of us." For once she didn't stutter, her words were as clear as a bell. "I can come over during the evenings and we can do our homework together." She offered. "It's...kind of nice spending time with people." This was the first year she had gotten to experience it and now she wasn't sure how she had gotten by without it. Having friends and people to do the hanging out with gave her such a warm feeling of being wanted. She had never known that before.

This time Mitsu actually smiled a little. It seemed like Shun didn't mind having her around, at least he agreed about them doing homework together. "It's different for me too. I've....never had friends to help." She admitted sheepishly. "I..if you're embarrassed about it, don't worry I won't tell anyone." She didn't want him to think she would just go off and talk about it....who would she talk to? Lizzy was the only other person she really knew so far. Other than that she knew a few people by name.

Turning to the book Mitsu skimmed over what she would be reading quickly before looking up at Shun again. "You ready? I can take notes too so that I can read them to you later. Highlights of what you need to know." Note taking always helped her out and while this was a little different maybe it would help him too. It wasn't that much more effort.

Mitsu gave a nod. "I..I guess I'll just write something down if you need me to then." Giving the passage another look over Mitsu started to read aloud the information. Thankfully she didn't stutter often so it wasn't hard to understand what she was saying. She wanted to read through it carefully, if she let her stuttering problem get in the way she was certain she wouldn't be much help at all. It would be more annoying trying to listen to her and decipher what she was trying to say.

After reading through a section Mitsu took a break looking up toward Shun to see how he was digesting the information. "I..it's not to hard to understand me is it?" She looked a little worried that even though she had tried her best she had still stuttered here and there. It was a problem she hadn't quite worked out and it only got worse when she was nervous.
