There were many hidden treasures in Destiny City. Maybe not literal treasures, though Gently had never gone on a hunt so who knew? No, the treasure she was finding now was an out of the way little horse ranch. As she had discovered in her research, there were actually a couple such places near enough by to be worth the visit.
Particularly for two energy stealers on the prowl.
This place was ideal for her because it didn't have too many hands running it, only a couple of horses and not great hours. It told her the business was suffering, and they wouldn't be too busy. If anyone else was there at all. So, two lovely ladies coming for a horse riding lesson would get leaped on. She brought some long coats for them both, and a hat for Ammo, and imagined she was set. She was waiting just outside the place, humming to herself. She didn't think Ammo would come powered up right away, so she wasn't keeping her senses peeled so much as constantly gazing down the street.
There wouldn't be any senshi around to sense them here, right? Plus, once again, she was opting to risk working during the middle of the day, rather than under the cover of night when most senshi patrolled.
The plan? A simple one. Get a lesson for a horse back ride. Draw the ranchers it the lesson, however many they could get, then drain them dry. Simple, fun, and there was horseback riding involved.
Ammo and Pain would ride like the wind.

It was a simple idea really, Painite had given Lyra up a call... asked her to meet her at a horse farm. They had discussed this some time ago, Painite giving Lyra a lesson on the art of energy stealing. All in all it seemed such a simple task, Lyra had the power for it... but it was like a master chef teaching a new chef. While the new chef might have the best tools at their disposal, it did not mean they were GOOD at cooking. Thus, Lyra needed help.
Ever on the other hand, seemed to be keen on going with her. Not that she blamed him... last time she went out on her own she had almost gotten killed by Sailor Ares. So the entire bus ride to the stables she had company. She was glad he was there in the end.. he was good company, and he knew the way.
Finally arriving there, Sabine all but TACKLED Gently in a hug. "Long time no seee!" In actuality, they had jsut met again with the door... but Sabine did not care. She just wanted some girl time.
Some time later Ever had left them to their own devices, heading back in to town.
"..Have you and ever met before?" It was a hunch, Ever seemed to be ok with leaving Sabine here. She peered around to see Ever walking away, wondering if he too would be ok on his own. ...Oh yeah he was a captain, he would be perfectly fine.

Gently let out a happy squee when she spotted Sabine coming her way, throwing her arms open as her new but totally best friend tackle her for a hug. She might have been a small girl, but Gently certainly knew her way around a hug.
After squeezing Sabine tightly, she looked at her, then down the street.
"I haven't met him! Another of your body guards? Or maybe one I already know, but don't actually know?" She grinned. She knew her Negaverse comrades were keeping Ammo safe and sound, and she had all but asked Ilmenite for permission to take Ammolite out for this romp around the horse ranch.
So yes, she had met him.
"It's so good to see you! I mean, you know, without a gaggle of others and giant evil door staring at us. Come on, we'll have some fun. I'm thinking we'll just get a lesson first. There are five people who work at this small ranch. Three hands for the horses, one person who seems to sit in the office building all day and a young intern I can only guess is a gopher."
Gently always did her homework. Well, maybe not always, but today she had. She took all the precautions she could.
"We get them all watching us, and we'll have a fun game of rancher wrangling on our hands."

"Eeep!" She cried out with a laugh at the hug, hugging her friend back tightly. It was good to have someone around whom could laugh and smile with her. No offense to Ever or Zac or Ladon, but it was NICE to have a female friend she could goof off with.
Though today wasn't only a good off day, it was training as well. ....Did not mean she wouldn't make the most of it.
She couldn't help it, the idea made her smile. "Will the lesson be done in gear or out of gear?" It was a good question, making her wonder if she would need the power boost.
Nervously, she shuffled closer to Gently. "I have never seen a horse before....that i know of. So..." She clutched the others girls arm as if in fear.

"Well, I figure I can power up first and we can slip inside. I ran a lot of recon on the area and I don't think there are any senshi patrolling this area regularly, at least. So we shouldn't have to worry about anyone finding us too fast. We can do some wrangling, then get them all knocked out and then you can power up, so no one will sense you too fast, and you can hide your butt wings."
She nodded her head, smirking.
When she scooted closer, though, Gently patted her hand as she clung, trying to reassure. She chuckled brightly, shaking her head as if she had absolutely no worries in the world. Which, at the moment, she didn't feel like she did.
"It'll be a piece of cake! And if things go off course, we can always improvise. I promise, I'm the master at that." Confident when she wanted to be, which was often, she had no trouble making these promises. And she fully intended to deliver on them. "Plus, horses are sweet. So you'll actually get to learn something! They're not going to turn down two pretty ladies looking to learn how to ride a horse."
