A mountain! Now that was exciting! Not as exciting as having fingers and being able to walk on two legs, but pretty darn exciting all the same. Heck, he was going to use these new fingers and these new longer legs to climb that mountain! Probably not very far up mind you, seeing as he noticed these new legs got tired real quick, but he'd go as long as he could!
He was at the base of the mountain with Mama Cama, who insisted on coming. While more human then before, he could still understand her, and he didn't want to tick her off by saying no.
"You could just try to climb a hill you know..." the older Camurupt stated as she looked upon the daunting height of a mountain. "That's what normal human children would start off with"
Hazan rolled his eyes. "Well I am not an ordinary human child, now am I?" he replied as he began to stretch, a wide grin upon his face. This would be fun!

A mountain. Certainly, no 'Kip of his family ( nee, his entire species! ) had ever conquered a mountain! The wind blew through his hair, biting at his elastic skin with the threat of drying him out of existence.
Yet that-- that was the greatest risk of all! As his pride swelled once more, the Mudkip puffed out his chest, the sunlight reflecting off the clips of his suspenders and the rubber of the water-filled boots that he wore on his feet. He took in a deep breath of that cruel air, feeling it dry him from the inside, cringing with the strangest of faces through tears. He would not give up! A tug on the belt around his waist pulled his pack from behind him, and he rooted through the cans of fish to find a small bottle of water ( sized for preservation! ), untwisted the lid, and emptied the bottle over himself, stowing it again in his bag.
A grin stretched his face, gill-to-gill, and he faced the mountain's walls once again, tackling them without a mind for trails or proper manners, looking more creature than human, fingers grasping into every little crevice, heaving his body over steep inclines, and spilling water from his boots absolutely everywhere.

Hazan himself had found a path of sorts, or well, had it pointed out by the Pokemon with him. It was steep, but it wasn't something super hard. After going for a few moments of tromping from the duo, Hazan began looking around, and what to his wandering eyes should appear but a fish climbing a mountain! Now you don't see that every day! But then again you don't see many fish with boots on either. It was kind of a distance, but it sort of looked like a purple mudkip.
"Hiiiiiii!" the shiny chikorita shouted, giggling a bit as he heard his on boiusterous voice echo about. He was waving wildly, a big grin on his face.

The shock of being spoken to struck Leith hard, making his black eyes widen and his hands scramble for the next hold. Unluckily, the hold wasn't to be found, his slick hands scrambling over the surface and a squeak coming past his lips as he fell backward.
Thankfully, he was only a foot above the dirt path, and probably hadn't even suffered a bruise. Shakily getting to his feet, the Mudkip blinked his eyes heavily and glanced around, finally catching sight of the golden creature that was standing nearest to him, a grin splitting his face, one arm thrashing wildly above him. If it weren't for the smile, Leith would have had to wonder if he needed help, or perhaps believed he was drowning. He lifted one hesitant hand, wiggling his fingers and stretching the webbing between them. "Well... hello, young sir."

Oh dear... his hello made the poor fellow let go. While he was obviously unharmed, Hazan still felt rather bad for making it happen. He hopped off where he was standing and maneuvered himself closer to the purple fellow, wanting to make absolutely sure that he was okay...Was it a he? It sounded like one...
"I am so sorry...I didn't mean to make you lose your grip..." he said apologetically as he approached, wringing his fingers together nervously. He had NO idea what to do if the other fellow was hurt other then bandages. He always had those on hand.
"You okay?" he asked, giving a quick look to see if there were any visual scrapes he could attend to.
