I'm going to live the way I want to: Rosario has always had a rebellious streak in her, and this gets her into trouble with her family and friends. It's not the type of rebellious streak that is dangerous to herself, such as doing stupid stunts or hurting others, just the type that severally annoy the ones that annoyed her in the first place. Take her mother, for instance. After nearly constant badgering about going to school and making something of her life, Rosario did go to college, though she chose a major that her mother finds frivolous, then to add insult to her mother, she dyed her hair bright pink, claiming it was to 'fit in' with her theater friends.
