Her stomach growled loudly as she walked around on the savannah. It was her turn today to find dinner. To make it worse Dhalven was feeling ill and needed constant attention. She had never taken care of the ill and so it made things even more difficult. When she left the cave he was feeling a bit better. She wanted to find his favorite meal, gazelle, to cheer him up a bit.
As she wandered about something caught the corner of her eye. It was brightly colored. She looked to see what it was. There was a bright blue and green butterfly fluttering around in the air. She sat down and watched it go from one place to another. As she watched, she wished that she could chase after the butterfly. However she knew it was a delicate creature and did not want to harm the poor thing.
"Mister Butterfly you are very lovely today. I'm not sure if anyone has told you that or not. I wish you the best of luck as you flutter about. Please be careful though. I do not want such a pretty thing getting hurt." She said to the butterfly. "Now if you excuse me Mister Butterfly I must get going. My friend is a bit ill and he is a bit hungary. I do not want to make him wait. Have a nice day."
She took a moment to nod her head to the butterfly, than she walked away from it.

Li'ili'i La'au was padding around playfully when he spotted something blue and green in the distance. He gave a quick glance to make sure his family wasn't around, then he made his way closer. It seemed as he moved closer so did the bright colored thing. He soon realized it was a butterfly. Excitedly he chased after the butterfly pawing playfully in the air as his paws just missed the little bug. He giggled playfully as he chased the butterfly around, it wasn't often such pretty bugs came to these areas. Finally he felt his small paws land on the little bug, he gently brought it down to the ground careful to leave enough space. He giggled as he felt the little colorful butterfly flutter below his paws. He was super careful to not squish or injure the butterfly. He wouldn't feel nice if he did.
He wished the butterfly would stay as his friend. He didn't have many friends. Not to mention Lolani his sister, she for some reason chose not to get along with him. She acted as though all her siblings were not smart enough for her. He growled at the thought and released the butterfly. He sighed and continued on his way. The sun felt hot on his pelt and he headed over to the river for a little dip. He could only imagine the cold water cooling his pelt. He embraced the thought and picked up his pace. He made his way down the small valley and crept his way into the cold river. It felt nice against his hot pelt and refreshing in his mouth.

Leenah looked around. Not a single gazelle in sight. She wondered if she had gone to the wrong hunting ground. Yesterday she could have sworn there were herds of gazelle grazing there. She let out a sigh as she looked around. It was such a nice day. If only Dhavlen wasn't sick, she could be out playing around. She reminded herself that it was important to make sure Dhavlen was well before she aloud herself to play around.
As she walked she heard the crashing of water. She perked up. Dhavlen liked fish almost as much as he liked gazelle. Maybe she could catch him some delicious fish! She dashed in the direction of the running water. When she was in eyes view of the river in the valley. She saw a cub there.
She darted down to the river. It was always a delight for her to run into a cub. She had always loved cubs, ever since she was one herself. When she reached the cub she kept a safe distance from him, not wanting to spook or frighten him. "Hello Mister Cub! I was wondering if you knew if there were any fish in this river? I am not from these lands and I have yet to venture this far." She explained with a grin.
