 Lee came out of the dark cave and yawned. It took a moment for her to let her eyes adjust to the bright light. She noticed that it was about midday now. It was hard to believe that she had slept al morning. Looking back into the cave, she saw Dhavlen still asleep. This would be the perfect opportunity for her to go out on some adventures. Dhavlen hated when ever she left his side, saying that it was a dangerous world out there. She knew how to take care of herself though. Ever since she was a cub she has always taken care of herself.
She started to run away from the cave, quickly going into a bolting run. It had felt like ages since she was able to run so freely. Once she got the running out of her system, she came to a slow stop near a creek. In the creek she noticed a few fish swimming about. Playful she stuck her paw at them and started to chase after them. She had no intention of catching them. It was just enjoyable for her to play around with them.
"Do not worry mister fishies. I will not hurt you. I just want to play with you." She said in her child-like way. There was an innocent smile spreading on her mouth.

 Diallo was wandering about as he usually did with his days, trying to keep his boredom at bay, when he happened upon a dry river bed. He decided that he would follow the riverbed till he found water that he could splash around in to cool off. He made good time, sprinting on the almost completly flat ground of the dry river, and finally reached a cross roads of sorts where another stream joined up with the currently dry one.
Excitedly Diallo plunged into the shallow water and rolled around, cooling his coat off. Looking up he saw an adult cheetah and was startled. Quietly as he could he moved backward till their was enough distance from her that he knew he could escape if he wanted to.

Leenah looked up when she heard a splash in the water. She saw a little cheetah cub. It had felt like ages since she had seen one. When the cub backed up, Lee was scared that she had some how intimidated the poor thing. She looked at the cub and grinned at him, hoping he would see that she was kind.
"Excuse me, Little Mister Cheetah, I am very very sorry if I scared you. I've been told that I am a bit intimidating to others at first, but please believe me that I would never harm a cub like yourself. In fact I would rather play some games or go on an adventure with a cub than harm it." She explained to the cub, her tail waving in the air.

Diallo watched the female cheetah as she smiled and talked to him. She seems nice, but I shouldn't let my guard down. Even if she's nice, she could still want to eat me or somethin. He stood up from where he was crouching and smiled warily back at the cheetah. "My name is Diallo miss, I'm just going to stand over here until I figure out if youre gunna eat me or somethin." he told her honestly.

"Diallo. That is a cute name Mister Diallo. My name is Leenah-Sesi, but you can call me Leenah or Lee if you would like." Lee said in her bubbly sort of voice. She laid down on the ground, after taking a quick look around to see if she could see the cubs parents. It was rare, she thought, that a cub would be out wandering by himself. When she was a cub it was rare for her to be out of her parents view, that is until she got lost and separated from her family. She wondered if the cub was lost. "Mister Diallo, if you do not mind me asking where are your parents?"

"My parents are off hunting so I took the initiative to go exploring without anyone bothering me." he puffed his chest up with pride. Diallo watched as she took an non-threatening pose in the water and while still cautious he made his way closer to the adult. Big cheetahs weren't known to eat cubs after all, right?
Diallo splashed around in the water a bit before laying down on a shallow. Watching the adult intently for any agressive movements. She looked nice, and she sure was pretty but you could never be to careful when adventuring out alone.
"Why are you here Miss Leenah? Shouldn't you be hunting like the other grown-ups?

"How brave of you. My older brother used to wander off when he was a cub." Lee said before taking a sip of water from the lake. She grinned at the fish that were swimming about. "Well I do not enjoy hunting all the time. My partner and I already have some food stored in our den. I was just about to go on an adventure while my mate was sleeping. He hates when I wander alone, he thinks that someone is bound to attack me."
She let out a loud sigh. It drove her crazy when Dhavlen treated her like a baby. Sure she was careless at time and got herself into loads of trouble, but that shouldn't stop her from having a good time. "Have you found anything interesting while you were exploring? It has been pretty dull for me lately."

"Why would he be afraid for you? You are a big grown-up cheetah. You don't need anyone to baby you." Diallo looked confused, "I thought all grown-ups like to hunt, at least it seems that way to me. I'm going to be a great hunter someday, I'm going to catch the very fastest gazelle!" He told her puffing up once again with pride.
Diallo listened to Lee as she asked him about what he found adventuring. Thinking about it, he told her of his day so far. "Well lets see, I got up and my parents left to hunt, my siblings wanted to be lazy so I left them there. I made my way out, had to avoid some hyenas. Found a dry creek bed, got hot and thirsty so I followed it and found this place. Then found you. So I guess you are the interesting thing I found today." Diallo gave her a rare smile.

"Some times I am a bit careless and Mister Dhavlen just wants to make sure I don't get hurt. He cares a lot about me and he wouldn't know what to do if something were to happen to me. I feel the same way about him." Lee tried to explain. She had always had a difficult time explaining love and the responsibilities you held to the one you loved. She realized that she, herself, haven't figured out everything about love.
"I bet you will become an amazing hunter, Mister Diallo, but you shouldn't forget to be young. It is no fun growing up too fast, though if you love hunting than that is okay." She said, being reminded of her brother and how he would spend all his free time training instead of playing games with her. "Well it isn't everyday that I am someone's most interesting find of the day. Perhaps if it is okay with you, maybe we can go on a little adventure?"

"Well I guess thats not that different then how my mother feels about me. She dosen't want me to get hurt either, she is very protective over my siblings and I. Is that how Mister Dhavlen is with you Lee?" Diallo asked her as he was trying to figure out what she ment.
"Being young is no fun though, I always have to be safe. Mother is always telling me, "No you cant go play its to... Dangerous. Diallo you better stay near the den or you'll be eaten by a lion. Diallo if you take one more step twoard that gully I may eat you myself..." Diallo sighed, "I just want to adventure and have fun but I'm never allowed. Thats why I'm here today, I was able to leave."
Diallo's ears perked up at the mention of an adventure, he knew he should be careful and say no, turn around and go back to his den. But he wanted to play and adventure, the temptation was to much and he quickly sprang up and splashed over the distance to his new friend.
"Really?! Go on an ADVENTURE?! Where will we go?!" He asked her excitedly, jumping around her and spashing with cool water, his tail flicking excitedly from side to side.

"Yes Mister Diallo. That is very much how he feels about me." She said with a smile. Well sorta. She did not want to bring up the romantic side of their relationship so she thought she would just leave it at that. As Diallo talked about his mother, Leenah couldn't help but laugh. It sounded an awfully lot like her relationship with her mother before she got lost. "Maybe once you are a parent you will understand the feeling of wanting to make sure your cub is safe."
"While we are off on our adventure I will make sure you are safe. If there is a lion around I will make sure he doesn't eat you." Leenah said with a grin, as the cool water splashed her. "Where should we go to for an adventure?" She took a moment to look around. Over a ways she saw a tall mountain that towered everything around it. She had seen larger ones before, that made that one look small, but compared to the flat lands it looked like giant.
"Why don't we go to the mountain? From up there I bet we could see most of the land! I could show you my den from up there." She said. "Does that sound fun?"
