How she'd come this far was beyond her limited understanding of the world and how it worked in its own simple way, one thing was for certain that the lush and vibrant surroundings of the forest weren't anywhere near where the petite figured female had found herself. But even in the foreign feel of storm smoothed rock that cooled the pads of her paws, there was a sense of familiarity and the old memories of a well loved childhood with the wafting smell of ocean water above the tension in the air that hung over this place.

And what a place indeed.

She had followed the rivers, hoping the winding serpents of water would lead her to the place of her birth, the sun kissed golden sands and the colored shells she would tease and toy with under her paws. The cheeton had only found half of what she'd hoped for. The rest was hidden in slate gray stone that seemed to slice the skies in sheer cliffs and natural obelisks that sank to a little bit of sand near the turmulteous sea.
The pink pelted female had never seen the sea like that.
The sea she'd seen was always calm, still...with waves so gentle they barely tickled the beaches...these waves roared and foamed like snapping dogs, as loud to challenge the thunder that occasionally clapped overhead.
The sky didn't move as she remembered either...nor was it the right color...it was constantly gray with rare shafts of light bursting through, only to be engulfed once more by the rolling blackness...

On one level of her mind...she was dreadfully afraid for her wellbeing...the lingering smell of strange lions hung around, even the edges of this place, like a mist...but on another level...curiousity clung to her like her own fure. This place, despite how much natural turmoil churned around it, was so passionate in that turmoil...the thunder...the waves...it was a travelling artiste's dream and a soft hum rolled from her muzzle as she investigated the cliffs curiously.

The muscular, well-built adolescent padded along the foot of the rugged cliffs of his home. This was hardly the first time he had been down to the beach, such as it was, and it was unlikely to be the last. For Lennart liked to exercise and traversing the rocky, ankle-wrenching terrain of the cliff base was an excellent training tool for both strength and sure-footedness. He was rapidly growing into his large paws and was almost as big as a full grown adult now, though he was a bit leggy and his mane had a long way to go. There were several of them now of his generation growing into the reaver class of the pride and there was no lack in competition or sparring partners. But Lennart was not as willingly violent as many of the pride seemed to be, though of course he could fight, and fight well and he did love to train, but as often as not he would be found out here, walking or running on his own, enjoying the sheer wild beauty of his homeland.

This morn he was relaxed and at ease, having already run the Ice sheets higher up and partaken of an early meal he was fully content to wander along the shore, absently looking for a possible trinket to take back for one of his sisters. Thus it was almost by accident that he glanced up and spotted a very pink splash of colour against a very grey landscape. Curious he picked up his pace and strode out, soon enough he had closed the gap between them and with a friendly tone, called out to her politely, for she did not look like a fighter or one of the many rogues that wished to join their warrior cast.

"Greetings stranger. Are you lost?"

Needless to say, she hadn't exactly been expecting a greeting and she let out a soft gasp and a jump as she turned to the voice, swiftly followed by a soft and somewhat relieved chuckle at the others gentle disposition...but he was rather big wasn't he? Raising a paw to rest on her chest as her heart fluttered before resting finally after the initial shock and offered the other gentle smile.

"Goodness, you nearly scared the fur off me." She commented with that smile still brightly on her muzzle, taking in his question now that she'd finally settled and glanced around at the rough landscape. The rolling clouds, the sharp rocks and the restless seas. Lost was an understatement, in an embarassed manner her ears folded back and another light chuckle escaped her.
"Heh...well..maybe a bit, I was travelling to the ocean to reminisce on my childhood."
Not that she couldn't do it here, but she'd never seen somewhere so close to the ocean that looked so...well...she didn't want to say violent but it did look like the land wanted to eat you up at any moment.

Turning her attention back to the other, she continued the rather friendly disposition despite the fact it was almost painfully obvious that he could've practically snapped her in half with the size difference there was. But she continued to smile, even took a step closer as she watched him in faint curiousity.
"My name's Hidaya, what's yours?"
