It's official. 'Badass' doesn't cut it for describing Magneto in X-men: First Class. Michael Fassbender, who played the British spy in Inglorious Bastards does a stupendous job of displaying a young Erik Lensherr and his transformation from metal-bending, angry Jew to metal-bending, angry mutant terrorist. I am officially a fan of his. I can't wait to see what else he stars in.
If I was a Sith Lord, I would aspire to be like Magneto. He makes me put on my evilest smile.

I'm more excited just about Fassbender's performance. The movie was supposed to be about Magneto and Professor X, but I think the guy who played Magneto (Michael Fassbender) did a much better job than the dude playing the Professor. I've only seen two movies that he's been in, but he really outdid his performance in Inglorious Bastards, I think.

I think the movie is to full of time issues and story contradictions. Emma Frost being a major one.
However I think Hugh Jackman's potrail of Wolverine was the best he has ever done.
"Go F yourselves"
Honestly you can't get much more Wolverine than that.
Magneto was good too, I liked him, and the guy playing Professor X.

Wanted was good, but not my favorite for McAvoy. Though he did do good at not being overshadowed by the heavyweight cast around him.

Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite up and coming actors. He was also in Fable Three as your brother if anyone has played that.

oh THAT's where I recognized the name from! I haven't seen Inglorious Bastards so I knew it wasn't from that... I love that game. It has SO many voices I remember from actors I like!

Sometimes I see James McAvoy and still wanna call him Mr. Tumnus.
Absolutely loved First class. And Magneto has always been my favorite Marvel character, period...untill I discovered Loki of course, but he's still my first favorite. And Fassbender was fantastic.
